The end result is a rushed tattoo by a completely distracted single dad who overworks the heck out of the tattoo area. It took months for my skin to heal. The tattoo areas were so overworked that I have been battling a losing fight against tattoo granulomas. I have several tattoos and have never had an immune response before and now I'm looking at having to endure laser treatments and immunosuppressants until resolved/removed. I take responsibility too. There were several times I should have walked away, before and during my tattoos. I should wife walked away when I spent an hour entertaining his child. I should've walked away when he had to continuously interrupt our session to deal with his daughter. I should have stopped when I realized that the tattoo was looking to be completed in less than half the anticipated time. I should have stopped and walked away when I saw the texture of my skin began to change mid-tattoo and literally constrict and tighten right before my eyes. But then didn't, because I didn't know why... His daughter is adorable and he seems like a nice guy, but he is not putting the care and safety of clients first, either that or he's just really inexperienced. My tattoos are a disaster. They itch. They hurt. They bleed. It's been months and my road to recovery is barely beginning. And that's only one aspect. A behind the ear tattoo recover he did has left me with marked physical changes to the mastoid bone and it is undetermined still as to whether or not I will require invasive treatment to repair it. All my other tattoos from other artists remain fine. So my issues are not a systemic attack against the inks themselves or I would have issues with other tattoos as well. My issues are self-limiting to his work: Go elsewhere. Don't take the chance. It's just not worth the risks.

If you look at the picture, you can see where he blew out the lines in several places. I sat like a rock as I know how important it is and expected such a simple tattoo to come out clean. Incredibly irritated and disappointed…read more I came about 2 months ago to get a current tattoo worked on. The person I was scheduled with was unable to fit me in after I arrived for my appointment. Since I came from Oroville, I figured I might as well get a piercing so the drive wasn't a total waste. I asked for an industrial piercing on each side. After completing the first industrial, the woman placed a folded paper towel in between my ear and the bar (yes, very painful). She said something about giving it enough room to swell. Then, she kept looking from one ear to the other and then finally said I didn't have the ears for industrials. Oh my gosh. So, I asked if I should get something different on the other side and she said yes. I chose a conch. She seemed to struggle again and then put in a hoop that was too small. She left it completely open and told me that once the swelling went down, I would be able to close it. That was completely false and never fit. She removed the paper towel and said it looked great then sent me on my way. The industrial has been irritated and infected since. I finally gave up and took it out tonight so my ear can finally heal. This is ridiculous and a waste of money as well as a constant pain for the last two months. I've never written a bad review but this place is terrible. Oh, and the tattoo artist rescheduled me then told me he was behind again when I showed up later that week. Blessing in disguise. For some background, I've had about 20 piercings. I've never had an issue before.
