I was a bit apprehensive of finding something I would love because I wear a plus size. When I called for an appointment, Christina, the owner, assured me she had lots of options of styles, brands and colors in regular and plus sizes, and she'd lend her expertise to me. On my first visit, I found several gowns, all sorts of styles and colors and was happy to try on different dresses to determine what was flattering and appropriate for me. I made a second appointment to make a final decision, where I tried on the original dresses I had looked at and also some new choices Christina thought could be options after getting to know my style and size range. She picked a winner in a special dress that I really love and I'm so excited to know I will look great and feel great on my daughter's wedding day. All around great customer experience and lots of choices in the shop.

We went through several dresses, and for someone that is very anti all the traditional things, Allie gave me options that made me feel beautiful. Although I didn't go with I&B because my partner and I decided to go a very non traditional route, I will say that going in and working with Allie helped me to make the best decision for me- which is one of the hardest things to do for a bride to be. I also did a small package with champagne and got a robe, I highly recommend the tailored approach to ask all the questions. After I made my appointment, Veronica reached out to me via text a couple of days before to start trying to get a sense of what I liked, and what I was looking for. Well, I really had no idea, and she was so patient with me and helped me winnow down to about six or seven dresses I ultimately tried when I was at the shop. That day, I had scheduled another appointment at a different shop in the area, and as they could begin to see that I was leaning towards one of the dresses they had pulled for me as my wedding gown, they offered that it's their practice to cancel that appointment for me and credit the fee towards the cost of the gown. That really put my mind at ease and made the choice that much easier to select the dress I felt beautiful and confident in. She and Nicki were so kind and accommodating to my mother and my best friend who were helping me shop. Camellia is size inclusive, cap their selections at I believe no more than $3K, and have a really unique selection of styles. Their accessory selection is also so much fun to browse - I ended up purchasing earrings there when I picked up the gown - and reasonably priced.

I still had not found the "the one". When my sister and I decided to make the 1.5 hour drive to Rincon, I was sure this was going to be failed last resort. We pulled up at the store. It was small town cute and in a shopping center. Doubtful I would find anything here, but we made the drive, so might as well give it a whirl, right? Jess (Jessica) helped me look through the dresses and explained somethings about how they were displayed and talked about the different designers. OMG! I loved every single one that they had!!!! I wanted to literally try them all. The last one I tried was the stunner and I immediately knew it had to be mine. So I held my breath for her to help me unzip the dress and reach inside for the price tag. OH WOW!!! On special, well below $1,000!! And this dress, my friends, is amazing. I just knew she was going to say it was $5,000. (I later learned that they do not carry anything that expensive) I would post a pic, but I will have to return and do it after my wedding. Needless to say, I was elated. Jessica was so awesome. Props to her and the rest of the kind staff there. Do not let the small town cuteness of this store fool you! It is amazing and the staff is wonderful. They have literally corrected all the mistakes that other bridal boutiques make and perfected their own concept. I cannot express my gratitude to Jessica enough. She and I will be sharing the same wedding anniversary as well. Tell a friend- ditch those other places and look here. I was looking for a modern wedding dress, lightweight, not strapless, some detail would have been great. A lot of the dresses looked somewhat dated, but after talking with the owner I made an appointment to return. She stated she would pull dresses I was looking for and in my size. 2 weeks later, same merchandise, nothing was "pulled". The only thing I found similar to what I was searching for was in the prom section. Then when she realized I could possibly buy this less costly dress, she kept trying to sell me other bridal gowns I was completely uninterested in, and she knew this. I left the store without a purchase. Be prepared that if you are looking for a modern/updated wedding dress, this may not be the place. It's a prom dress shop. But the owner was nice.
