She offers both 30-minute mini sessions and full 1-hour sessions, which made it easy for us to choose what worked best. From the moment we booked, she was incredibly communicative and helpful. She shared so many thoughtful recommendations on locations, timing, lighting, and overall vibe. I asked a million questions while researching and planning, and she answered every single one (and then some) with so much patience and care. Lina was willing to wake up early for us for our 7 am sunrise shoot, which already set the tone for how thoughtful and accommodating the experience was. My husband is a photographer himself and is usually behind the lens, but this time he was in front of it and Lina's direction made us feel completely safe and comfortable. She guided us in a way that allowed the photos to feel truly "candid", natural, and effortless, which is not easy to do. The experience itself felt relaxed, fun, and never rushed or awkward. Our gallery was delivered in about 4 weeks, and it was well worth the wait. The photos are absolutely insane. They capture the moment exactly as it felt...just as beautiful as real life. These are photos we'll cherish forever. If you're considering a honeymoon, couples, engagement, or vacation shoot in Oahu, book Lina. You will not regret it.

Her photos are absolutely stunning, and I'm still in awe of how she managed to document every little moment so naturally. Lina truly has a gift, both in her photography and in the way she connects with people. We feel so lucky to have found her and couldn't recommend her more highly. Lina also knew the area so well, she had the best suggestions for photo locations and guided us effortlessly through each spot. She made the entire shoot feel natural and fun, giving us just the right direction so we always felt comfortable in front of the camera. Her experience and local knowledge made all the difference. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend working with anyone else on the island.

Both sides of the family met in Oahu for vacation, and months prior I suggested that we should hire a professional photographer so we could 1) remember the occasion, and 2) have some updated photos of the family as we have our newest addition: our son Xavier. After doing my required Yelp searching, I narrowed it down to 4 photographers who specialize in children's photography. Though Keao was the priciest of the 4, I chose her because she didn't put a time limit on her session. I thought this was key because my son was only 7 months and not only was I unsure how he would handle the time difference, but he's just fidgety and unpredictable at this age! Communication was really easy via email and all my questions were answered. She also provided good tips on styling, which was useful as there would be 8 of us and we wanted to have some sort of cohesiveness. The session itself went smoothly, even though Xavier fell asleep about 20 minutes in! We still took advantage and had her photograph all the possible family combinations while he took a nap. Looking at the photos, you can't even tell that Xavier was cranky, haha. Also, I felt as if she captured us how we really are... it's hard to explain. Looking at a photo of me and my sister-in-law being silly, it just made me think, "OMG this is us!!" I'm extremely happy with the work Keao's done, and can't wait to show the photos off on my social media accounts, Christmas 2017 cards, and any other occasion in the future. Kardashians, eat your heart out!

Bien was very professional, provided helpful guidance on general posture/stance/hand positioning, and was just overall a fun person to be around (which helps for capturing genuine smiles, since photoshoots can be intimidating). I was most impressed by how he was able to turn a woodsy area in Hawaii into an alpine scenery.
