Groundswell is exactly what it claims to be, a boutique. They offer a limited but very well curated selection of incredibly high quality buds chosen to meet a set if standards and criteria that ensure only a select few strains make it into their shelves. Their strain selection represents the full spectrum of strain types from indica to sativa with hybrids heavy on eutger side or straight down the middle. Although they do offer strains that come at a price point that comes in at well above the avg in Denver, I would day that you get what you pay for when you buy from their "platinum shelf", although it's not the price i can justify spending on my weed with the amount i consume. I like to spend 15-25 on an 8th, and never more than 30. So i have always been conflicted by my lovefor a shop that i couldnt really afford. But they have always had at least something that could meet my needs, for a whike i was relegated to their limited time offer of $5 ghost train pre rolls. I wpuld buy em omw to work or b4 breakfast etc.. And now that i have single handedly smoked all of the ghost train pre rolls by myself they are back to being 10 for the full g 5 for half g pre's.. BUT they now have the TWENTY DOLLAR EIGHTER BOYS! You ever go to a new city, and you just want to find a great place to get good service? Well, Ground Swell is that business! I drove by this boutique dispensary on my way to my hotel, and it appeared welcoming, and not dark & sketchy (like some others in the neighborhood). Inside there are two "showrooms"...one for medical patients, and another for recreational users. The staff was super friendly, and very informative. I asked several specific questions about strains, traits, and ways to consume. I have a deep knowledge of what I was shopping for, but the staff was still able to give me great information about what I was purchasing. They give out small "baseball cards" with photos and information about each strain available. Their product and prices were stellar. Everything was top notch, professional, and surprisingly affordable. The specials board was very helpful, and offered some great deals! The space is clean & modern, felt safe & welcoming, and the staff was really nice and helpful. Went there on my birthday, and was gifted a HUGE pre-roll just for coming in...it was incredible by the way! One other thing...once I got home I realized I had ruined my vape pen by washing the jacket where I had it. I contacted the staff to see if I could order another one from them. I recently moved to Denver from Carpinteria California. I researched a lot of dispensaries as I am in the customer service business and wanted to evaluate how this now established market treats its consumers/customers. I visited and evaluated over 50 dispensaries in the greater Denver area. I graded on knowledge, friendliness, Cleanliness and stock/offerings. GroundSwell came out on top! Not only did they have the secret sauce with respect to exceeding criteria and scoring, they also just have a place that you want to hang out in. Very very accessible products and staff. In particular I have a shout out to one bud tender who goes by Hailley there. She took care of myself and my friends (who visited later upon my recommendation) with ardent aplomb. Our favorite dispensary! We're visiting from out of town for a week and this trip is my first experience with dispensaries. We've been trying out a little bit from here and there to get a feel for what we like and so that I could get comfortable with the experience. We did our research before getting to town so we've honestly have only had pleasant experiences everywhere we've visited but GroundSwell set the new bar that anywhere we visit has to live up to! They are insanely professional, friendly and enthusiastic from the second you walk in until you leave. Our budtender Rachel was incredibly informative and even helped us find a better deal than the one we came in for, which is on top of their already incredible prices! Now in Denver it seems that cannabis stores open up every day... Similar to having Starbucks on every street corner. With all these upcoming shops it becomes difficult to stand out beyond the rest. Especially since growing exceptional buds is the new norm and most edible products are purchased from the same supplier. To me, at this point, I choose my cannabis shops not solely on the products but the customer service provided. This is, hand down, my favorite spot in Denver for high-quality Cannabis, in all of its forms. The staff is extremely friendly and extensively learned not only in products but the art and science of cannabinoids as well. Waits can be a bit long, but their approach to sales is intimate and inviting, and the budtenders are down to spend time answering questions without high pressure sales. Their product display is artistic - they're proud of what they sell - and their flower/buds are of high quality. The selection is curated for quality (not the largest, but more than adequate). I've only received properly-cured product here, which is a differentiating factor compared to some of the chain dispensaries that sell flower that's too damp. Groundswell is the main dispensary I go to. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Every time I go I see people whose names I know and who know mine. They also sell a number of proprietary strains which are all excellent. The budtenders are knowledgeable and straightforward; there's none of the weird overly-salesmanish vibe you sometimes get in dispensaries or head shops. I went in for a concentrate cartridge for my pen. Like most other stores I ran into a problem with compatibility and had to come back to the store. The staff handled the situation with professionalism and understanding.
