I have been going there for years! The owner there is extremely AMAZING and very sweet! She is extremely customer oriented and pays attention to you, and she is very professional! I'll tell you what when I went in there, from the first time we met we became besties(like sisters now). She has such an AMAZING personality! I will continue going there! I've been to plenty of laundromats, and the others never smile and act like they have a stick up their butt! Even though I could do my laundry a few cents cheaper where I live, I have found that it is worthwhile to drive across town to Lou's Fluff and Fold. I'm there usually once a week, and not only am able to do my laundry in an efficient, pleasant environment, but with Rita or her employees have a cheerful source of any help I need. When I read the comments, I have never experienced any of the complaints about Rita or the facility. She is really friendly, always cheerful, and helpful in a number of ways. The complaint about the price increase struck me as odd, with the situation today I was surprised that she waited so long, and even with a higher price it is still a bargain. There are many good reasons to come here as opposed to other places, and I expect to do so for a long time read more

A lot of machines looked dirty and many were out of service. Wouldn't come back again only gave it a 2 star because eventually I was able to wash my clothes. However, there's no Wi-Fi here and didn't look the cleanest. read more

Unfortunately I had to put a star otherwise my comment wouldn't post! The owner "Rita" is very picky with who she wants to be nice too. She mostly favors the older men. This place has went down hill over the past few years. The sign also says "no dogs" and she has her pit bull there with no leash. It's unacceptable! Owners should lead by example! If yelp allowed 0 stars that's what they'd get. This place is a scam. Majority of the machines don't work, cost way way more then you'd spend elsewhere and on top of that they have many many signs hung up saying no animals but yet they (as in the workers) had a large (not aggressive as I could tell) pitbull walking around. The seals on the dryers suck so you spend twice as much trying to get your clothing dry. I will not be coming back and I hope that no one else will either. read more

I just want to say i love coming to this place its been 3 years already and i still love that i can do my Dry cleaning and grocery shopping there at the same time. Its really clean and the owner Rita is the best she helps me with what ever question i have and the woman that works it thwre Gloria is so helpful if i have a quarter that is stuck she will help me get it out or somehow she makes it work. Too bad yelp doesn't allow a 0 star review. First off, prices are ridiculously high especially for the smaller loads on the side and for detergent etc. Bathroom is disgusting. As of today my daughter and I got yelled at by a lady named "Rita" Mind you-with other customers around. She was telling us if we left a load in one of the washers, because she knew we washed a bunch! how ridiculous to yell! (Besides why else wouldn't we go to a wash and dry with a few loads!) When yet all her regulars are taking off and leaving their loads for well over 30 mins! Yet, picks on people she doesn't really know! Lou's does a great job and their team is very personable. We use them for our business and they are super easy to work with.

The place is well maintained and clean. Lots and of washers and dryers. I like coming here because there's an attendant on duty. The usual lady is mostly here with her dog or else it's Gloria. The only reason I'm giving it a 2 star is because there was a male worker (I'm guessing he works there because he was behind the counter) who wouldn't move a cart out of the way to exit out the door. There's only one door they want you to exit from in the back. It's raining and he doesn't have the courtesy to look up from his phone and move the laundry cart. So I have have to maneuver my way to open the heavy door and pull my basket out. While I'm struggling I say, "excuse me" to get his attention instead he sits on a chair without taking his eyes off of his phone. I really hope he doesn't work here. Liked that they open early. Place fairly clean and had all laundry extras you might need or forgot. Came here to wash my sons clothes after the Spartan race, visiting from Los Angeles. Matt, the laundry attendant, was very polite considering it was so early in the morning he was interacting with the clients and even asked how I was enjoying my book. Prices are a bit high for me, I know things are more expensive up here compared to Southern California where I'm from. But even then I didn't mind paying for the detergent or washer because of how friendly Matt was with everyone. Thanks Matt for you great work. read more

So where do I start.... Pros: friendly employees Cons: recently the owner has increased her prices although it was a minor increase, it makes one who used to come here often wonder why. The place is filthy; now you can sweep and mop and wipe down all you want but what about the piles of dust and lint and hair trapped in the corners of all the machines. How about the filth and building damage behind the washers (they are pulled about two feet from the wall where you can see mold and dust). How about the plants the owner sells that are on every machine - who wants to do laundry in a jungle that has dust and leaves falling on your clothes? I wonder what the health department would say. It gets better. Yes there are plenty of machines, plenty of machines that don't work that is. Every other washer and dryer is broken, some since before 2018 ended. Those that do work are either used or aren't efficient. Half of those that are working are used for the fluff and fold portion of the laundromat. Now I've been to the owners other laundromat in Soledad and let me tell you, night and day experience. So why is the Salinas location s****?!?! I'll tell you why, because the owner is more interested in making money rather than providing a clean and welcoming (not to mention working) establishment for her customers and employees! This is one place you should stay away from! read more

This place used to be so clean and well kept..I really think they changed owners because this place is a mess..a lot of machines don't work..the dryers are hit and miss..the floor was soooo dirty. Large and clean facility lots of regulars throughout the week I've gone there several times , close to home but my question to the manager is when exactly was the last time the hot water worked ? It's hasn't been on the last 4 times I've washed there. I wonder how many people using the large washers are under the impression that they are washing with hot water when they actually aren't.
