I found Eddie here on Yelp and texted the number listed to see if he was around, and I was in his chair less than ten minutes later! He's a great dude, and we had a nice conversation while he gave me an awesome hair cut. I told him how I normally style it and he basically took it from there! I'm really happy with how he did and I plan on going back. Also, River Monsters was playing in the barbershop so 10/10 atmosphere and viewing material.

However, I was 10 minutes late because a prior appointment went 40 min over and I was only able to call 5 min before that I'd be 10 min late. This was okay with the place thankfully as I had spent a pretty penny on their ViP shave even though it was with a gift card. Even with the gift card I still "paid" for that through a charity auction. The shave was so smooth and with their specialized product that I did not need to stretch my face skin taut (I had to look this up for the phrase or word for this. There is no word for this lol). at. all. Also, they texted me about leaving my beret there with its nice pins and I almost left Phoenixville again but did not because I was there for the farmer's market the following day. What luck!!!

I have been coming here for over a year for haircuts, and Kevin is fantastic. I moved to South…read moreJersey and would make the 2-hour trek to get a haircut and see family in the area. Today, I called because my GPS indicated it would take 30 minutes longer than usual to get there. I thought it was courteous to let them know I was going to be late. The woman, Jill, who answered the phone, immediately had an attitude with me and bluntly stated that if I was 15 minutes late, they couldn't do anything. I remained polite, even though she treated me like I was trying to inconvenience her or sneak something by running late. I drove like crazy, and it turns out that the accidents Google had reported must have cleared up. I arrived at my 12:00 PM appointment at 12:02, only to find out that Jill had canceled my appointment without asking me and told me, "There was nothing they could do about it." I went to Ortiz's around the corner and got a great haircut for $10 less. Kevin is great, and he's the only reason I'm not giving this place a 1-star review. I'll miss him as my barber, but I can't support a business that treats customers so poorly. Edit: As you can see even as they respond they are reacting defensively, blaming me for miscommunications...rather than making the situation more costumer friendly. They were rude, canceled me, miscommunicated and then are blaming the customer FOR THEIR mistake. It's all right here in their response. Look to the other negative reviews of Jill they all say the same. She continues to be combative even in her responses to customer complaints. This is a pattern of rudeness from the business owner, don't support poor business owners who take your business for granted. I've changed my review to a 1 star to reflect the unprofessional response from this business.

So when it was time to get my hair cut i stopped in. The wait time wasn't short, but it wasn't long. Appropriate for the service they provide. I typically went with a traditional buzz cut since I was little, but Phil, the shop owner, persuaded me to try something different. The final product was worth the wait time and the time for the cut. It seems the barbers are passionate about what they do. The only reason I'm not giving five stars, I want to go back again! Definitely recommend! Thanks for the fresh cut!

He has a lot of curly, fine hair which isn't easy to cut. Dominic cut his hair so beautifully that even my husband is going to start going to him (and he's been with his stylist for 10 years). The shop is clean, bright, and all the guys are really friendly. A woman brought her two year old son in while we were there and his barber was great with him. He was friendly, patient, and very kind to this little boy. They also have a really cool car chair for the little ones. They take walk-ins but I would definitely recommend making an appointment because it's a busy shop. Trust me on this...you will not be sorry.

Everyone gets along here and I don't notice unneeded drama. Lots of laughs. Caveats: some or most of the barbers here are in high demand, I recommend you plan well in advance.
