This is a men's barber shop, not Vidal Sassoon. If you love music on vinyl, Lou also deals in old 33 1/3 and 45 discs (buys and sells). A great stop for music conversation alone. You want a great haircut go to Sal's. I have been going to the Plymouth Meeting Shop since 2015 and…read moreI wouldn't go anywhere else. Where else would the owner open the shop up extra early for you because you were getting married that day. There are people complaining about the prices going up and the booking fees. It's called inflation and you can bypass the booking fee by calling the shop directly. I could go to hair cuttery if I am worried about the cost but the cut wouldn't be the same. Over the last five years Sal and his barbers have become more like friends, nay, more like family. So if you are looking for a great, and I don't throw that around a lot, haircut and shape up of beard, then there is only one place I recommend wholeheartedly. Do go see the Barbers at one of Sal's many shops. Thank you guys, especially Jay in Plymouth Meeting Shop, for always making sure I look great when I leave.

I have seen the works of the other barbers there as well and it seems like Sal's' in Royersford is the place to go... Sumaj puts a modern spin of my husband's haircuts which we like. Husband is 71. This could have been a four star review because they forgot to tell me about my free drink and I…read morealmost didn't notice the mini fridge. However, I was 10 minutes late because a prior appointment went 40 min over and I was only able to call 5 min before that I'd be 10 min late. This was okay with the place thankfully as I had spent a pretty penny on their ViP shave even though it was with a gift card. Even with the gift card I still "paid" for that through a charity auction. The shave was so smooth and with their specialized product that I did not need to stretch my face skin taut (I had to look this up for the phrase or word for this. There is no word for this lol). at. all. Also, they texted me about leaving my beret there with its nice pins and I almost left Phoenixville again but did not because I was there for the farmer's market the following day. What luck!!!

I have been coming here for over a year for haircuts, and Kevin is fantastic. I moved to South…read moreJersey and would make the 2-hour trek to get a haircut and see family in the area. Today, I called because my GPS indicated it would take 30 minutes longer than usual to get there. I thought it was courteous to let them know I was going to be late. The woman, Jill, who answered the phone, immediately had an attitude with me and bluntly stated that if I was 15 minutes late, they couldn't do anything. I remained polite, even though she treated me like I was trying to inconvenience her or sneak something by running late. I drove like crazy, and it turns out that the accidents Google had reported must have cleared up. I arrived at my 12:00 PM appointment at 12:02, only to find out that Jill had canceled my appointment without asking me and told me, "There was nothing they could do about it." I went to Ortiz's around the corner and got a great haircut for $10 less. Kevin is great, and he's the only reason I'm not giving this place a 1-star review. I'll miss him as my barber, but I can't support a business that treats customers so poorly. Edit: As you can see even as they respond they are reacting defensively, blaming me for miscommunications...rather than making the situation more costumer friendly. They were rude, canceled me, miscommunicated and then are blaming the customer FOR THEIR mistake. It's all right here in their response. Look to the other negative reviews of Jill they all say the same. She continues to be combative even in her responses to customer complaints. This is a pattern of rudeness from the business owner, don't support poor business owners who take your business for granted. I've changed my review to a 1 star to reflect the unprofessional response from this business.
