This is a very nice big lounge with lots of space for chilling while waiting for your next flight. Lots of snack options with the only missing for me is some hot food. I had a little this and that including a small sandwich that was warmed up on the panini press. The lounge is clean and mostly quiet today. Yes, it's a splurge to fly business class but when you have to go 12 hours straight, having the ability to lie down is a must for this travel diva! And, flying through security is very nice here. A separate entrance for "vips" before heading to passport control. Picked a good day for travel as there wasn't a line at all. read more

On Monday morning, we came to the Sala lounge using our Priority pass so we didn't pay in person. There was a few people at the front desk so we didnt wait line or have trouble with seating. The food variety was enormous and filled with various breakfast eggs, ham, pastries, cheeses, wines, beers, cafes, pastries, yogurt / kefir, olives, sandwiches wraps crackers, cereal, bread, gazpacho, soup, potato or garbanzo salads, salmon, kombucha, juices, fruit, veggies, etc ... to choose from. We used this lounge via United. On a Monday around 11 am they were semi -busy and picked up significantly by the time we left around noon. Located close to gate D21, entrance for us was after Passport check. Ample amount of mixed seating with work areas. Fruit, small sandwiches, mini croissants/pastries, soup, and mixed nuts were available. Wine, still, sparkling water and a coffee/espresso machine for drinks. Restrooms were clean and food was replenished quickly. That said, our table had plates, bottles from previous visitors and didn't get cleared til we were about to leave. read more

For full disclosure, I have Priority Pass access and didn't pay the regular fee to access this lounge. Lounge Miro is the lounge for all travelers heading outside the EU. Those with Priority Pass should have complimentary access (based on their membership level). For those with United, I believe it's restricted to those who have Polaris. Therefore, simply having a United Club access won't work here. Doesn't impact me, but just an FYI. There are signs after passport control which will guide you to the lounge. You can take the elevator or the stairs right downstairs. Nice, huge, and clean lounge with plenty of areas to eat, sit, lounge, nap, and work. I came around breakfast time and there was a spread of a bunch of items. I admittingly was looking for some eggs, but didn't really find it here. I did find a bunch of sandwiches, but wasn't in the mood for that. I settled for a couple pieces of toast, cereal, a small muffin, and a slice of cheese with a coffee from the coffee machine. Fine - my meals were gonna get messed up anyways with this flight so I can live. I sat in one of the lounge chairs and sat there till about 30 mins before boarding. I love the glass windows that overlook the main concourse. Didn't waste time charging anything, but there are ample. The bathrooms were also very clean too. People are cleaning it all the time. There are two showers available, which I didn't use. You can request to use them from the front desk. read more

Very large lounge in Barcelona airport. There's plenty of seating and it has two kitchens, the main one which most people end up sitting around, and another on the other side of the entrance which is much more quiet (though most of the food is served at the main entrance). There was a variety of food from cold cuts to hot items like fried potato balls or a hot-pocket like pastry. Plenty of drinks as well, including non-alcoholic as well as a plethora of alcoholic ones (wine, beer, etc). Probably one of the most well-stocked airport lounges I've been to, but so many folks that they ran out of clean cups and the food trays were often empty. Everything is self-serve. Staff came by occasionally to clear out plates/glasses from tables. That said, this was a very nice lounge with plenty of space. There were desks with chairs, couch seating, plus single cubicle like lounge chairs. All in all, very nice lounge at BCN, though it was quite crowded. read more

Slightly hard to find....just head downstairs by the Burger King...quite spacious and a decent variety of food. Very nice staff; very friendly. The staff at these VIP Lounges are so much more friendly and helpful than the Delta Sky Club staff it continues to amaze me. read more

Never have I ever been so disappointed at an airport lounge. By no means do I want to come off elitist or anything. However, when you're investing in an airline alliance and spending valuable time/money on gaining status, you'd expect all of its partners to be on the same level. Nope... I wish I slept in more before my flight. This lounge really sealed the deal for me- Iberia in OneWorld is awful. I am typing this as I wait for my flight IN THE LOUNGE because it's that bad. This "Premium Traveler" lounge "Miró" is for all OneWorld travelers passing through. I came to BCN early for my LHR flight in order to make use of the lounge. Long story short, my accommodations in Barcelona had no gas, and with it being Easter weekend, Spain was even slower to get our issue fixed. It never did. Thus, all I wanted was a hot shower and a place to relax. ...there is NO FREE SHOWER unless you brought your own towel and toiletries. Otherwise, they charge you 10€ for entry into this shower room that does not even have its own private toilet. I was baffled, stinky, and hating myself for not training my body to take cold showers. Upset, I went to the loo, and half of the toilets inside were not even working- meaning you better be intentional about whether you want to go #2, and face the line that will be waiting outside. Snacks and laughable at stake olives and crisps, and some tiny sandwiches that leave you regretting not going to that 24 hour tapas outside your accommodation. Alcohol was available but limited. Make do and drink your way to your destination. Hopefully you'll ignore how terrible this lounge really is. There's also no dedicated wifi in this lounge. OneWorld BCN, do better. Not bad, Barcelona! Lounge Miro is a paid VIP lounge that you can enter at max 4 hours before your flight. We paid 30.20€ to get in and it was worth it! With AC, free WiFi, unlimited food & drinks (I had glasses of wine), and outlets (only European ones though), it made our three hour wait significantly more comfortable. They gave out free bottles of water, soda, apple cider, etc, and produce which I really appreciated. Things that could have made it better would have been more reasonable seating and better noise insulation. Definitely would come here again if I had time between when I arrived and my flight. read more

Based on some previous reviews, I suspect this lounge has gone through a recent renovation. It is very clean with ots of seating for singles and small groups. We arrived in the morning and they had a nice selection of food and full bar. The staff were all very polite. I couldn't ask for more in a lounge. read more

Among one of my favorite lounges because they have a fantastic selection of beverages and tons of seating. Tons of it. Theres seating on both ends of the entrance to the lounge and i guarantee the seating area to the left of the check in desk if you are facing is will be scarcely populated. I only saw it as I was leaving actually. Theres a nice nap area where the lights are out, individual "pods" available and quiet signs so people know to be respectful. When I walked by there weren't any free but it was very quiet in there. A separate room is also available with additional seating that I couldn't quiet figure out the true purpose of the room. I thought it may be a smoking room or a room for people with pets but no identifiable signs to be seen. Food and beverages were a plenty! A nice coffee bar with multiple machines as well as pre-packaged coffee drinks and energy drinks. Juices and sodas were among the mix too. Not to be forgotten...the alcoholic beverages! The usual suspects; champagne, wine, beer, vodka and gin were all present. There were not many outlets however so that is a downside to this lounge but the food and drinks really helped me cope, haha. read more

All right. I didn't think at first to write about such places as business lounges at the airports. But while waiting for my flight in the Business lounge "Miro" at the Barcelona international airport - I decided that that's worth describing definitely. I've never expected for Spain and Barcelona especially such lousy attitude as I encountered there. To start- they don't have private Wi-Fi as most lounges tend to do. And when I asked about the Wi-Fi - the girl at the reception looked at me absolutely contemptuously, saying that they had just general airport Wi-Fi and pouted. That Wi-Fi was 10 min for free and then you should pay. And the girl's attitude was like she hated the whole world and you the most. As for the food choice- it's absolutely terrible. I can't say in any other words. They have a couple of bowls of the cheapest potato chips and nachos, olives and a little bit of pickles in that pot, few options of jams, not the most fresh bakery tray, tiny sandwiches with the inexpensive cheese where there is almost no cheese at all. Peanuts. And that's all. Is this happening in Spain?! Common! Simple Fuet or Goat milk cheese- Queso de Cabra or Manchego cheese wouldn't cost you a fortune, but would make the customers pleased and satisfied. And that's called "Restauration zone". Are they kidding?! I'm not asking for Jamon Iberico or smoked salmon here! And when even that potato chips were all gone- nobody cared to serve some more until I asked a lady that was hiding behind the doors at the "stuff only" room. Empty fridge where supposed to be ice-cream. As for drinks: traditional Cola and Fanta, water, juices. Tea and coffee, milk. Gaspacho. With regard to alcohol, there are no complaints here at least. Cava, 3 kinds of red wine and 2 white, even rose, all quite respectable, I guess 5-7 € would cost a bottle in the supermarket. There are Sherry and Manzanilla, and of course the traditional set of Martini, Bacardi, gin, whiskey, vodka, etc. Budweiser beer. For the business lounge of that kind that part was at least on the level. Good leather armchairs and pretty small tables next to them made the ambient cozy. But still, even at some tiny airports like in Tahiti, for instance, they have appetizer selection and "small plates" much better and really tasty. And that's an island, not center of Europe where there are hundreds of flight every day... May be they should rethink their attitude and the whole conception of the treats for travelers?! Because to name it "business lounge" will cost me a lot, it's more just a room with comfortable seats with the possibility to get drunk. Bring your own food then, that's an option. read more
