I was really looking forward to this experience and it ended up being a little underwhelming and that was disappointing. I truly think when we walked in they were not expecting us to purchase anything, we were not greeted when we walked in, we had to seek out an associate to help us. My friend and I both intended on making purchases before we even walked in so I was kind of annoyed. I get we are on the younger side but we were dressed well and both had a pretty good idea of exactly what we were looking for. My friend found someone and asked to see some bags, again very much having an idea of what she wanted and was interested in seeing options. When they wrapped up she did not ask if I wanted to see anything so I asked to see a specific bag I was looking for, and then ended up wanting to see another couple of options and did end up choosing another bag she had shown me. I did feel like we were a bit rushed though the sales associate was pretty nice. I do have to say she was very helpful at sharing the Euro to USD price conversions, and VAT return process when we asked which I appreciated. Overall I am glad I got my bag but disappointed to have missed out on the luxury shopping experience in general, especially since the store was not very crowded when we went so it's not like people were waiting. read more

I love this location! I've frequented this specific store. There's a kind doorman filtering traffic. It's very organized. The staff is wonderful! I always walk out happy. I went specifically for a special purse. I got lost (driving in France isn't too easy) so I contacted the store to see my options. I have been an LV client for years and have purchased many items in the US and Europe, including this exact store in Nice. It was the first time I had an experience in a store where someone accused me of stealing. In short, a saleswoman who showed me two bags, when I was going to leave and come back later to purchase one of the bags she showed me, asked me where the other bag was. I said I had no idea. She was insisting it was there, inclining I took it. I opened my tote to show her it was not there. I felt disgusted and embarrassed like I was never in my life. How dare someone accuse someone else of stealing without any evidence is beyond my understanding. She then realized that another sales person had taken the bag. No apologies, nothing. I tried returning brand new shoes that didn't fit me at the location and niece, and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. as I am writing this review right now, they walked away from me and have not came back to check up on me and simply gave me a phone number to call. Shame on the Louis Vuitton store in Nice! Terrible terrible service. Just like with many things in life, you don't find out the true nature of a company or a person until something goes wrong. A bag that we owned for just over a year broke, broken zipper. First of all, why does a Louis bag break so fast? It's gotten regular use and nothing out of the ordinary. I pay this money to get great quality and great service, clearly this brand lacks in both departments. You would think they would fix the problem, right? Absolutely not, they don't have employees who can fix the bag or assist you with getting it repaired. The salesperson we spoke to mislead us on numerous accounts. First told us that LV would provide a replacement bag to wear while the product is being fixed. When we said, let's do it at this store, she said no, nothing will be provided and she had no idea how soon the bag could be fixed, or fixed at all. A simple zipper! That's all. Finally, we are told to come in at a time when the other employee who can fix bags is working. We are told to come back on a day when that employee is not even working! The employees here are completely incompetent, she does not know how to help people. This was the worst experience and last time I ever come back into a LV store or buy their product. read more

Went into Nice store today just to look around. And found a different version of the Tuileries bag I had purchased in Florence a few days before. One I hadn't seen and liked better, as it was a bit more neutral. SA quickly offered to trade them out for me with manager approval as I hadn't used it yet. Manager approval obtained quickly and several helped redo all of the appropriate tax free documents that I would need for airport. Everyone was approachable, polite and helpful. To me and everyone else I saw enter the store. Would recommend if you are in area and looking for LV merchandise. read more

Shopped at this location 29Sept2019. I purchased 2 wallets, one for my mom as a birthday gift and one for myself as a special souvenir as this was my first time in France. The experience was a bit confusing and now reading the other reviews, it seems like this is the norm. I think we waited about 20 minutes before anyone asked us if we needed help. There were only a few customers at the time and about 5 free sales associates just standing around. This was odd as my experience with shopping at LV stores in U.S., the sales associates are very eager to help you as soon as you walk through the door, some might say even a little too obtrusive. The sales associate who did eventually help us did a wonderful job, wrapped up my mom's present nicely and gave us some free samples of perfume. She also got all of the VAT refund docs in order for me which was super helpful. She is the reason why I'm not giving this review only 1 star. As I was getting my wallet monogrammed, she instructed me to come back the next day to pick up the finished wallet as the person who does the stamping had gone home for the day and would be back in the morning. No problem. I came back the next day (today) around 4pm with my pick up receipt in hand. This is where things got a little weird. I walked up to the door and pulled on the door, half expecting the doorman to open it as he did the day before. It was locked and I could see customers inside and the doorman didn't budge, he saw me, so I knocked. He slightly opened the door and asked what I needed so I told him I was there to pick up my wallet and I waved my receipt. I'm pretty sure the store wasn't closed as I checked the store times before I walked over. Doorman then asked if I could wait 5 minutes outside! He would not let me in. At that moment a sales associate saw me and ran over to tell the doorman to let me in but I had to stay by the door. What the hell. About 30 seconds later, another woman walks up to the door to get in and the doorman let's her in no problem. Seriously what the hell was that. Sales associate came back with my wallet, showed me the finished product, packaged it up and off I went. I probably will never purchase from this store again which is a shame because I do love the brand and products and have had pleasant experiences at many other stores. read more

If I could give this LV store a ZERO I would. By far, the absolute WORST LV store I've ever shopped in. EVER!! And that says a lot, because I have purchased from many. The staff are the rudest, laziest, and most disrespectful group I've ever seen. And the selection they have is pathetic. Not one of these women knew anything of their product line, had no idea what collection was even out, and couldn't (or I should say wouldn't bother) to answer any questions. They act as if they are superior to anyone who walks in the door. The only star goes to the doorman, he was the only positive thing in that entire place. So avoid at all costs!!!! Go to Monaco, or even better the flagship store in London or the airport! Thank goodness the employees at the other 3 LV stores I shopped at had class, and acted with kindness! read more

Staff unknowledgeable about their products, and when I asked an employee for help (which you should never even have to do, it's their literal job to approach you) I was told to look for someone else and ask them. Very disappointing experience for LV, corporate should definitely look into their customer service representatives. Disappointed I even bought anything, but it's the only LV in Nice. When I was ready to pay the sales person said she will get me one from the back. She came from the back with the bag all boxed up , however when I came back to the hotel I saw that they had not included the pochette in the bag. This boutique is just a short walk off the Promenade des Anglais. So when strolling on this famous Promenade, checking out the view... and le monde chic, return down the next street and stop at Louis Vuitton, if not to purchase, at least to be "seen". ;-) read more

This location was very close to my hotel and about a five minute walk. They had exactly what I was looking for and I snatched my bag up immediately. The staff were very helpful. They gave me the paperwork I needed for the no tax charge since I'm from the US. I should've taken advantage and gotten myself a wallet too. Worst Louis Vuitton store I've ever been too! I've been to a couple in Italy and Paris. Was trying to buy a belt but acted like I wasn't. From the start they acted like I was a bum off the street. over the last couple years, i have never been satisfied with the customer service at Louis Vuitton - regardless if it was the Toronto flagship store or the one here, in Nice. we walked in with a specific item we were looking for. we were barely treated upon entering the store and the employee glared down at the image we provided, said no nothing, and walked away. it was the most confusing experience. we were unsure if they meant, no wait here or no its not available at this time or ... so we left. considering how much customers pay for luxury good, the service does not live up to what is supposed to be a luxurious designer brand. read more
