I have never had a nail break or lift and I get compliments on my nails all the time. In addition to her cleanliness Hailan is also a very creative person. She takes her time to ensure its amazing while many places rush you in and out. Her prices are fantastic. She is completely about hygiene and ensuring everything that can be sanitized correctly is and everything else is only used once (on you alone). She hand paints all her designs which is amazing to watch and she is also a big advocate for clients to know the difference between the products that can be used (including that solar gels are really just acrylics and a money grab). Jillian was super sweet and did an excellent job doing some maintenance on my brows and cleaning up my lip. I'd go so far as saying she is meticulous in a good way. She even has this wonderful soft hand pillow that she uses so that her hand is not constantly rubbing up against your face as she works. I'd never experienced that before and I loved it. I left TBS feeling like a new woman! If I lived in Calgary, I'd likely be a loyal customer of TBS / Jillian. She must be doing something right as she's been working there for almost 10 years!
