LouAbull is not only a clever pun on our home city name but they also offer clever novelties that pay homage to our cities different districts or communities. Located in the popular and vibrant Nulu neighborhood this shop fits right in with its very diverse, inclusive and unique items. I enjoyed walking around and checking things out in here and while I did get a chuckle out of a lot of the merch it just isn't my personal style of things of purchase. However, I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for local merch that plays off other local items. Very specific market here id venture to say. They were a bit pricey but that is expected with the type of novelty items and area the shop is located in. Overall pretty cool place and as mentioned I did enjoy browsing and window shopping.

This cute shop sells Louisville stuff and all sorts of other memorabilia and interesting bits. If you're looking for unique gifts, you'll find them here. Too many weird things to list. Lunch boxes, tshirts, postcards, candles, dish towels, soaps, you name it. Reminds me of Paper Skyscraper in Charlotte https://www.yelp.com/biz/paper-skyscraper-charlotte?hrid=ruk-SVII3JwUVNmFlUu77w and Deco in Raleigh https://www.yelp.com/biz/deco-raleigh-raleigh?hrid=I0FIzwLEWfXOsqhd5VmlXQ. Neat little store in nu lou that my buddy Joseph G from yelp fame visited last weekend . We hit up a lot of stores in the area and I saw a funny Louisville sign and we decided to stop in here to check it out. It had many different Louisville shirts and funny trinkets and things. We really enjoyed the store and it seemed like others did too because it was crowded . Check them out and support them

What a fun shop! My daughter and I stopped in while checking out the street art along E. Market St. This was the only shop that we visited that day and we're glad we did! If you're looking for a cute or whimsical gift this shop has it. If you're looking to add some wittiness to your decor this is the store. If you're looking for all things lgbtq+, PRIDE, Anti-Racist, Feminist, progressive, and human rights related this is THE place! Lots of Tshirts too (one suggestion; need sizes above 2x) We will definitely return to this brick and mortar shop but also look forward to seeing them at the local PRIDE festivals

Looking for wacky, interesting or just plain cool Louisville-themed gifts? That is exactly what LouABull is all about!! I have had this place on my list for a while, and with us already taking a walk to the Butchertown Market, I figured it was finally time to make a visit. It's an awesome store. It's very tiny, in a small little house, but makes for a great stop if you're going to Hi Five or Red Hot Roasters. Inside you'll find gifts of all kinds. I think they're selection of Louisville T-shirts is what stood out most for me, and they have so many hilarious and cool ones to choose from! Great local place for all of your gifting needs!

[67/100] Drove into town from Ohio. It is a cute novelty store, a lot of Louisville/Kentucky merchandise. I found a Louisville Star Wars shirt for my nephew. The store is well kept and organized. I like that they have a LBGTQ section. They sell bath bombs and it makes the store smell good. Parking was easy. There were plenty of spots right up front. I recall it being free for 1 or 2 hours. Pros: - Sells great Louisville/Kentucky souvenirs. - Free parking. - Pho place next door. Cons: - Pricey - Very small postcard selection. Unfortunately, I didn't find something for me but my nephew will love his shirt.

On my way to toast and market, this was a great pit stop beforehand. Along with the other handful of cute shops in Nulu LouABull is just as special. Loaded with tons of cool Knick knacks and gadgets I wanted one of everything. The store gives boutique vibes with all the unique items up for grabs. Employees are very sweet and friendly. COVID precautions are in effect. From unique mugs to candles to jewelry this store truly had it all. I walked out with a cute necklace and mug to take home. Support your small businesses and check this place out!

Can there be enough Louisville-themed shops? I think not! And I can't wait to see LouABull as it develops, gets more stock and continues making a name for itself, especially in the retail void left behind by WHY Louisville's closing. I ventured to LouABull just before Christmas, hoping to find some fun socks. (Some people ask for socks as a for-real Christmas present, OK?) They didn't have any socks, though the clerk told me they should have some soon. But what I did find is a great selection of Louisville- and Kentucky-themed T-shirts that I hadn't seen elsewhere. So many of the T-shirt designs at shops around town are the same as you would find at every other place. LouaBull's were fresh and new! I came away with some Star Wars-themed Louisville shirts for my fiance and his brother, as well as an "Eat Local" shirt for me. It features a dragon monster of some type, eating the Louisville skyline. I love it so much! LouABull also has a selection of Derby City-themed and just-plain-ol'-fun jewelry, toys, cards, glassware and more. I remember a lot of 4:20-themed gifts as well, if you're into that kind of thing. It's a tiny shop, but they pack it in, and I will definitely be back to find more Louisville treasures.

I came in here when they very first opened. Wow! How much they've grown their inventory. You could spend an hour in here looking at all the unique gifts they have! Many Louisville proud items which I love! You can find one of a kind gifts here! Service is super friendly! Love having a local place so close to my sons school. Last visit, I shopped for my moms Mother's Day gift. She's very unique and one of a kind so this is the perfect shop for her! They have cards, bow ties, soaps, novelty gifts, T-shirt's and so much more! Even a kids section!

This is a small but MIGHTY stationery store! Every time I travel, I check for stationery stores…read more Let me tell you, it's hard to find stores that focus solely on stationery so I was ecstatic when I found one within 2 hours of me. They have a great collection of pens, pencils, notebooks, and some washi among other things. I love that they have a variety of pens you can test out, including fountain pens. The lady who was working at the counter was super friendly, and kindly pointed out I had picked up a fountain pen to buy rather than the rollerball that I wanted. I'm glad she pointed it out because I would've been sad when I got home.

Really fun, beautiful little store in Cincinnati. They're a stationery store; a dying breed! I…read moredidn't actually intend to buy anything when I entered, but I love stationery stores so I had to stop in since it was next door to the other shop I'd stopped in. Paper wings has writing paper; pencils and pens; greeting cards; erasers; so much more. You'll find paper clips--but in fun shapes like cats or bunnies; no standard paper clips here. Lots of washi to use decoratively in your projects. Fountain pens and ink (most of the ink I saw was Lamy, but they may have had other brands I didn't see). Wandering through here kind of made me wish I used pencils, because they had some really cool pencils and even fun pencil sharpeners that I wanted to use (unfortunately, I've hated pencils for just about my entire life; yet still, it was hard to talk myself out of buying those blacking pencils). I left with a bunch of little treasures, including the aforementioned cat-shaped paperclips and several unique greeting cards. I really love to send cards, and tend to go a little overboard when buying them (I have dozens of cards but not a ton of people to send them to), so that was dangerous as soon as I stepped in. But perhaps the item I'm most excited about is the wax sealing tools I bought--a seal that says "hello", pink and bronze colored winkles wax sticks, and a melting spoon. I've thought about buying wax and accessories for a while but I literally never send letters anymore... but then decided since I do love sending cards, it would be nice to add a special little flourish to make personal correspondence just that much more special.
