I saw the indoor pool and coin operated laundry but we didn't use either. The free breakfast was on the upper end of what I expected from a chain like this. Pinecrest cottages was originally a summer retreat and has been around for about 150 years ! at some point about 20 cottages were built. Currant owners Diego & Lynn have owned the property for about 6 years and have done extensive renovations to the buildings and water front area.We brought along our own boat and there was ample space at the dock, pinecrest also has plenty of rental boats of all sizes and free canoes and kayaks .The cottages were clean and comfortable with great vistas and sun sets. The fishing is great either by boat or just off the dock.The cost turned out to be less than we thought ! We enjoyed the night time fires and found the other guests to be friendly, some traveled quite a distance from areas in the U.S and one we spoke to have been visiting for over 25 years ! we had a great week and have pre booked for next year. The weather was perfect, but there were a few things that could make the race even more exciting. The PA system needs to work at all turns. Where we were sitting we couldn't hear the announcer. The track is good, but since you can't see it all, hearing the announcer would be great. The roads are really narrow, so if 2 cars are going the opposite direction, there's a problem since everyone parks everywhere. The campground could definitely be more organized. Bleachers would be nice as well, so you could see more or if you don't have enough chairs.

We purchased the 'Everything but the Dress' package and it was truly a stress-free process. Andrea and John have been truly wonderful to work with, very responsive to messages, and very accomodating to our requests. About 3 months before the Wedding Day, we had an Engagement Photo Session, and the photos were so beautiful we used one for our wedding invitations! On the Big Day, the venue was so beautiful, the cake was delightful, the hors d'oeuvres were plenty and delicious! Andrea has perfectly captured our wedding colors through the cake, boutonnieres, and the bridal party bouquets which were just stunning to look at! John was excellent, and he also put some humor into the ceremony! He worked with me in outlining the ceremony, as well as my music choices (I have given him too many music selections!). The ceremony was amazing and everything went smoothly! Andrea has kept me up-to-date with all developments with the wedding planning. She made sure everything was perfect! She took beautiful photos throughout the day, before the ceremony in the bridal suite, during the ceremony (capturing all the most precious moments), and after the ceremony for portraits with the family. She made sure all the guests were happy and taken care of. As a bride on her wedding day, it could be easy to forget some moments as the day goes by really fast, and it could get overwhelming, but the photos have made me remember how magical the day was, and the experience made me really say to myself: 'I do not want this day to end'. John and Andrea were incredibly nice and accommodating to what we wanted our wedding to be. The wedding package that we chose took care of the entire ceremony for us... we just had to show-up in our attire and enjoy ourselves. We gave Andrea our colors, met with the baker, Katherine Lima, to chose our cake and chose to include the Ilaria Duet as our musical option, but beyond that, we didn't have to do much. John was phenomenal and made the entire ceremony flow very smoothly. Andrea, along with her assistant, captured the entire day for us in photographs; we have so many amazing pictures to choose from for our wedding album. To our surprise, there were 2 videographers present as well to capture the ceremony in video.
