Then in the late 90's the world was introduced to Subway, and the big health craze set in and there were more options popping up like mushrooms after a summer rain. Now we have so much selection and Thai Express is at the top of the list for me when it comes to quick, inexpensive and yummy. My go to meal at TE is the Pad Saew Chicken (medium spice). It's incredible as I've eaten this at possibly 10 different Thai Expresses. TE consistency and quality is very good! Today was no exception! This is the nicest Thai Express I've been in. They have a drive through and even serve beer and wine! Not usually a fan of TVs in the restaurant but there is one here! If you like Asian food this is a nice quick inexpensive choice. Without beverage you can usually get out of here for under $10 per meal which on my mind is almost the same as Mcdonalds in Canada! Get you noodle or rice on Thai Express!!!!

For a non-vegan guy, I find the menu quite interesting and intriguing. Originally, I wanted to try their vegan Parmigiana eggplants but they didn't have any eggplants anymore. Bummer. So I went with my second choice, tempeh Pad Thai. As a Pad Thai lover, I should say I was a little disappointed by their rice noodles that they used but I'm not surprised by it since I'm at a vegan restaurant after all. It is still a rice vermicelli just not the ones you're used to. You have been warned. However, it doesn't take away its savouriness. The sauce was delicious. The mix of fresh veggies, spices, and herbs make this a unique dish. The tempeh were good, not plain. Accompanied all this with a fresh pressed cleansing juice; you can't get a healthier meal than that. Overall, great sweet little restaurant. The owner and the waiters/tress were very friendly and open to questions about their ingredients. Who said eating healthy has to sacrifice taste? Fun fact: they sell their ingredients that they use, you can try reproduce their dishes if you're that good.

I was delighted to experience very good service and a quality exchange. I had Vegetable soup as my appetizer and it tasted absolutely phenomenal! In addition to that I ended up ordering the Chanchai Chicken, which is fried and in a delicious sweet and sour sauce. It came paired with Fried Rice and also steamed Veggies! Once inside, we saw a fair amount of customers. We ordered some Tom Sum soup and a chicken Pad Thai. Everything is freshly made. The food came fairly quick and was delicious. The place is clean and the server very efficient. The only down side is that it is a BYOB restaurant.
