She was able to replicate each routine to each of the opposite body region/muscle which I truly appreciate and recognize. One note I'd leave for Emmy is that I wish she would ask to stretch or massage in wider ranges. I felt like she was restricting my flexibility range when I could definitely do a lot more or can stretch a wider range, which would have felt a lot better for me. I did speak upon that after the massage. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back to her again!! This was my second time attending this business and once again, I had an amazing experience. To friendly, patient staff, and cleanliness of business. It was overall fantastic. However, I did leave a four out of five star review under service because I was very chilly/cold in my room during my massage session. It was a very hot day outside so I understand that the AC was higher inside, but I wish my room specifically was warm and I could've enjoyed my session more.

She got very hostile. Very rude. And was making it seem like I was trying to get something out of her when I simply was trying to book an appointment. The ambiance was great the room was decorated very simply yet calming at the same time. Their tables were heated just right for both of us and the linens were super soft. The massage itself, was fan-tas-tic! I asked for a more vigorous massage and boy did I get one! Jody (my therapist) told me I would be sore the next day like I had just worked out, she wasn't lying folks. What really stood out for both of us though was the attention the therapists paid to our joints. Never before have I had a therapist work my knees or my actual shoulder joints it was really wonderful. Now the icing on the cake here is that they give you ten minutes after your massage to just relax. It was really so simple but just knowing that we didn't have to rush out gave us this little chunk of time to transition back to the real world. Finally I can't say enough about the level of customer service we received. I very easily set up and appointment via a text, which I always appreciate. Jody and Alex welcomed us at the door and then carefully reviewed our paperwork to make sure they were giving us the experience we wanted. Would highly recommend to anyone!

The place is small and you are asked to take your shoes off upon entering, but that means you were right in the doorway while trying to get your shoes off and balance putting on slippers that they leave at the door. There's only two seats in the waiting area. There was no tea or anything else out like I have seen in other pictures but I was offered a water. Elana was my massage therapist and she was fantastic. A couple of issues was that the treatment rooms are extremely small is very little room to maneuver. Also, they must have had satellite radio on so the radio station kept going in and out which made for very awkward moments of complete silence in the room and during that time, you could hear other patrons talking, music from the Pilates, studio next-door, and traffic on the road. After about 10 minutes, she did ask if I wanted her to go get her phone so she could put on music in which I said yes-it was very hard to concentrate every time the music went off. I thought $140 for a 90 minute massage was an excellent price and she was great, but I'm not sure if I would return due to them having no amenities and the outside noise issues.

I have been to this location several times before, and while every experience was different, it…read morewasn't terrible. I was seven months pregnant and my boyfriend got me a gift certificate for a massage. On multiple occasions I made an appointment through the website and then received a follow up email stating that the scheduled time cannot work on their end. I ended up not being able to get a prenatal massage before giving birth but went for a massage about three months after I had my baby. When I booked, I told them that my certificate was for a 90 prenatal massage, but I'd be using it on a 60 min regular massage. Prior to the massage I inquired how I would be compensated for the difference in either time or money as the prenatal 90 minute massage was significantly more of a cost than the massage I received. After taking my gift certificate at the time of payment, I was told I needed to email the owner for the difference in time. In my communication with the owner, she then decided to tell me the gift certificate was for a one time use only and I would receive nothing as a credit. I respectfully tried to explain that I wasn't looking for money back, but some form of credit towards an additional massage. She was rude and disrespectful to me via email and essentially stole my boyfriend's money knowingly ahead of time. If this was the outcome, she should have indicated it ahead of time when I originally inquired. She waited for me to use the certificate at approx 60% of its value before telling me I would not have any credit towards another massage. I would not recommend this practice to anyone moving forward.

Her skill level is high at baseline, plus she teaches massage therapy at a local training institute so she is always up-to-date on new and innovative techniques. I prefer Swedish massage but occasionally needed lymph drainage or more medical massage due to workout injuries and she always delivered--light pressure, deep pressure, she does it all! She seems to be one of those people who is a lifelong learner, so when I would ask about a technique or something to assist, she was always consulting books and colleagues in between our sessions and improving her craft. Plus, her professionalism is superb--she always confirmed my massages, ensured we had a good schedule, and communicated clear expectations about what to expect and cost. The price is perfect--it's just enough to where I believe she is being fairly compensated for her work, low enough to where I can afford it 2x/month, and she did not nickel and dime me ($10 for hot stones, $5 for essential oils), like some other places. Her goal seems to be to treat the person's needs and works in a wide range of skills and tools. The ambiance is nice, too. It's on the second floor of an office building, so it has that office feel outside. But in her room, it's organized, and has elements to adjust to your comfort--various lighting, temperatures, and blankets.

I went back for a 90 minute massage with Nathida, who was also great. I would definitely recommend getting a 90 minute massage if you can afford it. It gives them more time to work on both your upper and lower body. And these massages are still more affordable than a traditional massages at a spa. They are now in a new location in East Providence. My one complaint is that their new location is located on a really busy road (Broadway) and the sound-proofing is not the best.
