DO NOT LET THEM SHUTTLE YOUR CAR. Booked this trip on a recommendation from the cabin lodge owner…read morewhere we stayed. We wanted to use someone that was Reputable and also as the owner of the cabin said it was one of his friends. So we thought let's give them our business since the cabin owner recommended. We did not notice immediately that there was a lot of front end damage until we got on the highway and heard my bottom of front bumper dragging. Once we looked we noticed the entire front bumper was detached. We had a bungee cord because we needed it to float, so we had to bungie my bumper together. Called owner and was met with hostility and they said they would absolutely not take responsibility. WE PAID EXTRA TO HAVE THE CAR SHUTTLED. Do not recommend and we will NEVER give them our business again. The owner also stated when we told them we would be by tomorrow to make a police report, "good luck with that." Horrible way to operate a business when you pay extra for them to drive your vehicle.

This place is awesome!!! Best kept secret in NWA. Forget the Elk River and all the drunk red necks!…read moreThis place is perfect for families or those who jus can't stand drunk people. We rented from Gypsy Canoe (see my review). Until we get more experience, we'll continue to rent from Gypsy. The Kayak Park has a few rapids for exposure. You can actually roll if you don't maneuver in the Dwight section if it. The good news is the water is fairly calm so there's no scary current to drag and keep you under. I had a great time here! My family did too!…read more We stayed in one of their cabins and rented four kayaks for a river adventure. Cabin was pretty good. Clean, well maintained, and ample amenities present. Mini split did a great job keeping up with the 94 degree heat outside. It had a covered back porch with chairs and a swing. Out front was a fire pit, a PK brand grill, and a picnic table. Great amenities. Comfy bed and all appliances worked properly. The kayak rentals are expensive in my opinion. But, they do have a market for them and I am sure the insurance and operations of this place cost a dime at least. I wonder how many people drown on the river a year. Hmmm. I'll have to research. I would absolutely come back here in a heartbeat. The river was great. They moved our vehicle to the pick up spot for us. The process of getting the rentals was easy and efficient. I really enjoyed our day on the river. The gift shop has just about anything that you might need, and probably a lot that you do not need I would say. '26 - 105

One of Branson, Mo greatest gems is this pretty little lake…read more Some of the best mornings of my life have been spent on this quite little lake; guiding kayak tours in the spring and summer months, admiring all the adorable, chicks, ducks, Heron, turtles, fish, Canada Geese, and bald eagles-it was wonderful to watch the seasons change with the chaning colors of the leaves and the changing colors on the breasts of all the waterfowl; saying good morning to all the polite and funny fly-fishermen at dawn; giggling at the beavers who would sometimes scare the cr*p outta me by splashing into the water while I was admiring a Great Blue Heron; paddling my kayak through the icey waters, myself and my kayak covered in snow, during the winter. What I really loved, during the super-hot summer months, was when they would do a dam release and the cold water from the bottom of Table Rock lake would turn Lake Taneycomo into a super-cold 40degrees stream, creating this beautiful foggy mist, making morning kayak trips gloriously romantic, refreshing, and a luxurious treat. Some may think it's a stream or a gentle river upon first inspection because there is usually a bit of a current. This is because they let do "dam releases" from Table rock lake which regulates the lake levels of Taneycomo. So, even though it moves like a river it is technically a lake since it is dammed on both sides. SUGGESTIONS: Bring a kayak. You'll see so much more. You'll never disturb the little critters. Youll get to sneek up on happy little turtle families. Make more friend with the fly-fishermen by telling them where all the great fishing holes are without disturbing the fish. Bring a camera. Enjoy!
