We stayed here 7 months and loved every moment! The park is clean, it has great amenities, and is PROFESSIONALLY managed with ONSITE managers. We we're able to go INTO the park office and retrieve our mail, (not find it laying in the laundry room for anyone to grab, ahem, HERV) or speak to a manager, PLUS WE COULD CALL a manager outside of office hours if needed. All the things that mean a lot as far as service goes. Our spot was on the water, so lovely! Hope to be back in this area again. Definitely recommend.

In fact, our RV bathroom was out of service for several days and the community bathrooms and showers were extremely nice to have. They are very roomy and always clean. Also, our visit coincidentally encompassed the time frame that Hurricane Harvey and its aftermath happened. Brian and Shawna kept us updated about the conditions at the resort while we were stuck out of town and by the time we were able to return there was no evidence anything had happened inside the resort. Everything was as clean and orderly as ever. During the aftermath the park was at capacity with relief workers, insurance adjusters, wrecker drivers, etc. They did an excellent job of keeping the park up to its usual standard with the influx of new tenants. I can't say enough good things about the resort and its employees.

We drove to the park to see if that perfect RV spot had opened up and was stopped by a very rude standoffish woman which we learned was the owner/manager Kathy (so she said). One thing I know real well is how to approach and welcome a prospective resident; a "Hello may I help you" with a smile is how you approach a person, but instead got a sharp rude "What do you need." Right then with her comment and mannerism I knew this was not where we want to be. We are sad that Good Times will not be our future home but dealing with a rude manager is not a place we want to call home. We never had a chance to try the restaurant which has rave reviews but be choose not to patronize a place management is not welcoming. Suggestion Ms Kathy practice you social skills when approaching a person.

BIG RIGS BEWARE! We…read moreare a 42' 5th wheel pulled by 1 ton dually with a second chase vehicle. We called ahead on a Saturday afternoon told them measurements were told, "should work fine." Paid and received confirmation online. To even enter the gate requires excellent pulling skills. There is a very sharp turn with protruding poles and a very sharp pole sticking out at slide out eye level. We missed it but took jockeying to do so. The "pull throughs" are NOT long enough to remain hooked or even have tow vehicle on same site. Let alone our chase vehicle. (We barely fit just our rig on it). To top it off the "overflow" was full. So we finally pulled in to empty site next to us and prayed no one showed up in middle up the night. (Office closed at 5:00 pm and not open at all on Sunday so no help or chance for refund and move on. (Even if they were there once you pull in off road there is no backing out. You have to enter park to get back to road. Traffic noise from I-10 is constant and loud at front of park where pull throughs are. We scouted after getting set and discovered leaving looks like it will also be an adventure with posts (signs saying keep off grass etc. on corners making potential damage to our unit a real concern. Wish us luck! Park seems clean and probably great near the back end for small rigs but AVOID this park if you are mid to high 30's or higher.

I do not recommend staying here. I was bothered by park manager repeatedly. When I stayed here…read moremanager was nosy. He only cares about his reputation and how his park looks, he does not like kids and sent out messages to the people staying here recommending them to call Child Protective services if they see any kids playing outside. Bathrooms were frequently dirty, especially on Saturday and Sunday. I am never staying here again. I stayed with my wife and four children. This park is NOT family friendly. We would get mass text messages detailing various different authorities to call to complain about things as simple as children playing outside. The policing by the manager and Clear Lake Shores/Kemah was very excessive. Police would stop at people's homes at midnight to ask for directions to calls where guests should not be bothered by police absent involvement in the call. I saw this happen multiple times. A friend of mine who used to stay out in the park alleged she was assaulted and reported it and retaliation/harassment twice. The manager did not want to assist her by making the man leave or provide video evidence to have the man prosecuted for making it appear he was going to ram her ebike coming up the driveway. There is a convicted sex offender in the park. There were recently criminals staying in the cabins on and off as they do not do background checks. I do not reside in the park anymore. Lee is only concerned about maintaining a resort-style image and his own reputation and ignored significant guest safety concerns, allowing people to be touched against their will and harassed with slurs and name calling. Someone should not be called a B or F by another guest and then that harassment is ignored by management. Management should be addressing those situations. They need to address the steel rebar and unsafe wood hand railing on the docks before some gets seriously injured by the metal rods sticking out of the shore line. A child is going to fall off that pier and there will be a lawsuit to follow if that happens. One guests was even firing a projectile weapon out of his cabin door. The person later disappeared. I observed it when I was taking trash out. The park is not lgbtq friendly. If you take concerns about someone calling you by homophobic slurs to the park manager, the park manager will not get involved or assist you in preventing further anti-gay or lesbian insults being spoken against you by other ill spirited guests. I saw this happen to someone. It was mostly Republicans and rich people passing through. Edit: after I left the manager asked another guest that is staying there where I live. The manager appears to be trying to get at me personally since I have left 2 reviews for his park staying my experience.
