At this monthly price, you really won't find anything more conveniently located to Houston. Sure, the amenities are not what you might request of an RV resort like the large one down South but for the monthly rate it's hard to complain about WiFi. For the record, most long-term tenants have their own internet access here which Comcast and others happy to provide a direct drop for. Water and power are billed at a fair rate based on actual use. Billing is straightforward, electronic and predictable - I never have to worry about "surprise" charges or rate changes. The park is nestled with only an entrance off a residential street and we're never bothered by through traffic. The neighbors are all kind and respectful. If you are living in an RV for an extended period of time but want proximity to downtown, this is the place to be.

The park manager, Tina, removed us from the system and reassigned our PAID and ACTIVE RV site while we were temporarily away at the Houston Rodeo trail ride. Her explanation? An email was allegedly sent, and because there was no reply, she assumed we had moved out. Silence is not confirmation. In professional property management, an unanswered email does not justify removing paying guests from occupancy records. You verify departure. You call. You document confirmation. You do not displace active guests based on assumption. We check our email regularly. There was no email. Even if there had been, failure to respond does not authorize forfeiture of a paid site. We returned to find ourselves displaced. The most concerning part was the lack of accountability. Instead of acknowledging a management error, the justification was treated as sufficient. When occupancy control is this loose, it raises serious concerns about operational standards and guest security. We will not return.

I cannot say enough about Karime and Aieta. The WiFi is strong and fast. There are some amenities like exercise equipment and business office (with printers and shredders). Coffee and popcorn every day. There are laundry machines and they are commercial type machines in two sizes. Karime makes sure that people are informed about what's happening at the park, especially with the different food trucks that come in to sell. Many people use this park as home base while they are receiving treatment from one of the many hospitals in the Houston area. The park is very convenient to nearby restaurants and shopping. I previously stayed at a different nearby park, but after staying at Southlake, Southlake is my new go to park.

They have a restroom, shower, and complimentary laundry facility while you stay. The park is walking distance to the beach - a huge bonus. They have a covered area to hang out in, and there has been a few small gatherings with music from other campers to end a great beach day. While we were there, the adjacent property had construction equipment running all day, and they were tearing down trees along the water's edge outside the park fence and leveling the ground. Our site was on the East side backed up to the property under construction. The noise didn't bother us too much as it was mostly during the day. I walked my leashed pup around the park a few times a day. They had pet clean up stations around the park to pick up after your pet. There was a pavilion with BBQ grill that you could use, as well as a playground for the kids. They also had a pool up by the office inside a gated area with rules posted. It was a good stop on our trip and I may return again if I'm in the area.

The layout of the park was a 10. The driveways/roadway throughout the park was wide enough for two vehicles to pass one another and or if you needed the extra distance to align you rig correctly in your spot it was there. I thought the overhead lights were a nice touch. I really liked the spot sizes, Large enough that made you feel like you had a little breathing room. I didn't get to use any of the amenities and or check out any local restaurants because I was visiting family and was there most of the time. Overall, I definitely do and would recommend this RV park for you stay and I will if visiting the area again will be back . Keep up the good work. I must say, I really really enjoyed the heavy rain on Friday I miss that. We don't get that type of rain in AZ.
