Last year I developed a problem and it was showing I had an error in the engine, so I called BHM and the owner suggested rather than driving 180 miles, I should try Bi State Marine, I'm so glad I did, perfect and honest people. I dropped it off and 2 days later It was complete, I screwed up when I opened up something I shouldn't have. Since then, I've put over 100 hours on it and developed a problem in the steering, so I again took it to Bi State. The Ladies are very knowledgeable and told me that Mike (the owner) would contact me. He did that day and got the wheels turning as this was a big job and under warranty. Mike got all approved and even though I do not agree with what the engine company pays these guys to do the work, I am pleased with the work they did for me. Yes, this is their busy season, but I got my boat back within a reasonable time. I have not water tested it yet ((Lake Erie Algae Bloom water won't be run through my engine, it's Green concrete when it dries)) but I did start in my yard and if feels like a new boat. I'm confident when the water clears up, I will have no problems because the people at Bi State took the time to explain things I didn't know but if I do, I know it will be taken care of. Anyone looking for a place that you can trust should look into what Bi State Marine has to offer!

From the get-go, the carburetor needed to be replaced. Three times in less than three months all the gasoline leaked out and I had to have that repaired. The gas gauge registered empty when the tank was full. The turn signals stopped working. The whole thing shut down. I bought the motor scooter in March and wound up, in frustration, donating it to Kars4Kids in July. I am 75 years old and thought I would have a nervous breakdown or heart attack if I kept bringing the motor scooter to the shop to be repaired.
