I think perhaps it depends on your expectations. We seemed to have several issues with Suite 3 but…read moremaybe it was just a bad week and for the price we were expecting a turnkey relaxing vacation. A few small things to consider- do not expect world class paddle boards, there is one SUP paddle that functions and two old paddle boards- kayaks seemed ok. The walk to the beach does require crossing a busy road, but once there it IS a nice beach, but you must bring all your own gear, including beach towels. There are not any beach rental chairs, etc. nearby. The wifi did not seem to work for us, the fan in the spare bedroom had a short apparently so my first night trying to sleep, it got up to 78 degrees in the room as we could not adjust the temp on the thermostat, the couch is not comfortable, the streaming buffered, so it took a couple hours to get that to work, there is a neighboring house with a large dog barking and although they warn you, I find it strange for the nightly price ($336/night!) to offer a small soap and shampoo. There is a washer, no dryer. The blankets were thin, beds were decent and the place was clean. There are no screens on any of the windows so you can't really get fresh air and there was a wasp nest above our bathroom window so definitely didn't want to leave a window ajar while showering. There is a "no refund" policy, so you are stuck there as we had wanted to check out after our first of two nights. There are not any walkable restaurants nearby. We were offered a couple of free nights to make up for all the mishaps we had. All in all, there were nice chairs and solitude by their water's edge. I could see a family enjoying the grounds and playing the outdoor games they had, but for us it was a letdown for the price. I think some people would be perfectly happy here but we had a lot of stress upon check-in and so many things not working properly.

One lady living here harasses everybody in her sight. She racially profiles people at the pool and…read moreI have been told by an African-American family that she comes out of her condo and asks them everytime if they live here when they are trying to enjoy the family time at the pool. They own their condo. I have a registered support dog and I have been harassed at the mailbox by two residents asking for my proof of needing a registered support animal and claiming that my landlord wasn't renewing my lease. When I talked to my landlord she was livid and requested the names of the people that said this to me. It is not legal to even ask for supporting documents concerning ESA. FHAA protects individuals by allowing their emotional support dog to live with them. There are at least 12 people living in this complex that have given me similar statements about being harassed by this one resident and we are tired of it. We want to live here in peace. There is a condo recently for sale directly across from hers. Ugh... I would rather not have to cross her surly path. Her and her nosey counterparts will make your life miserable. Buyer beware.

I always wanted to stay on a boat (smaller than a ship), a bucket list item. They come up on searches and many look suspiciously dirty. The the Shangrila came up on my search and I said why not. It was the cheapest and surely not the most expensive. But, we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations and the cleanliness. It was ready for everything fully stocked in the kitchen including a dishwasher. Kudos whoever choose the bedding. What a great nights sleep!! What kind of pillows are on the bed!!!! (Forgot to look). Convenient restaurant with amazing key lime pie! Only feedback is there was a problem with our third party booking site getting the information to us the check-in, as there is no one there. Easy call to the staff taken care of in less than 5 minutes. Remove dead plants, also, people sailing through don't always follow "no wake" rules!! Only in the day did we experience that and not that often. This is a new favorite thing to do!!! We plan on returning!

Buyer beware! I had a five night stay booked at this property in one of the townhomes. When I…read morearrived, I immediately realized that the home was not as clean as it should have been. The furniture was grossly stained, the bed in the master bedroom was so rickety that even a small amount of pressure caused the whole thing to sway, Lightbulbs were blinking in the master bathroom, and dead bugs were on the floor. I immediately called their guest services number and spoke with a gentleman who was actually quite helpful and compassionate about the situation. I sent them the same photos. I have posted below, and they agreed that the property should not have been in that condition. They offered to show me a Condo which was smaller as an alternative. When we toured it prior to deciding if we would stay or not, we saw the same issues with gross stains on the furniture, and gooey smudges on the wall. We refuse to accept that as an alternative, as it was not at all an improvement. Their final attempt at providing a solution was at a newer property, which was nice in terms of its condition, but it was farther away from where we needed to stay making the drive inconvenient for us. It was also a two bedroom apartment when we had five people and two dogs on our booking. Because I booked through hotels.com, the property refused to work with me directly on the issues and told me it had to go through the booking agent. I requested a refund through hotels.com on Sunday, and it was not until Thursday that the property even bothered to reply and offered a 25% refund for a trip that I never even took. Their customer service agents are like gatekeepers and refused to allow you to speak to upper management. They only divert you back to hotels.com, which I understand from a policy perspective, but from a customer service perspective, it leaves much to be desired. I believe that because they offered me options, none of which were good ones, they believe they did not need to provide me with a refund. Just know that if you choose to book here, that if something goes wrong, you will likely not be compensated. We did not stay a single night and left within hours of checking in. They still believe a refund was not needed. Find anywhere else to stay but here.

Spanish Main has its own private pool that's heated and a salt water pool. Felt great all week. Also has private access to the beach. Would recommend and if we visit Cocoa Beach again we will be looking to stay here.
