Stopped into to this hole in the wall and I can quite give it the honor of calling it a hidden gym. The food was very mid compared to some taco trucks and other Mexican food restaurants in Tomball. I had a carnitas asada taco and the corn tortilla was very dry and hard, while the meat seemed to be a tad over cooked. I also had a burrito that was very light on meat and pretty flavorless. So glad we finally stopped in at this little tomball gem. Tiny little place tucked away in the corner of a shopping center at the 249 feeder and Three Lakes. We had tacos pastor, pastor tortas, the pastor pizza, chorizo taco and beef fajita taco. This place really lives up to its namesake; their pork pastor meat is seriously the best I can remember having; it's got a nice char on it, has a decent hint of the pineapple flavor and is very flavorful and tender. The pastor pizza really surprised me, I thought it might be some weirdly executed spin on pizza, but whatever kind of bread they used and the toppings it works so well, the bread is nicely toasted along the bottom and has such a good chew, I can't tell if it's like a naan bread or some other kind of flat bread but it is seriously so so good. The torta was loaded up with a good amount of meat, avocado, tomato, onion and cilantro; the only thing I would add would maybe be some mayonnaise or something although a decent amount of their salsa took care of that. Stopped here to pick up a late dinner. Felt bad that we stopped in just before closing time, but service was friendly and fast. We ordered fajita tacos, burritos, and quesadillas . Everything was good but I think it would have been better if we would have arrived a little earlier. Seemed like they were shutting everything down for the night. This is a great spot to get fresh Tacos al Pastor! They serve breakfast tacos as well. They open up at 8am-ish. There's a few days that they may be running behind but the breakfast tacos are worth it. Its a bit of a limited menu but they do all of the items extremely well! I stop here about 3-4 times a week because its close by but the taste is consistent and delicious. The family that runs it is very friendly too. Ok now back to the food. So they do tacos, breakfast tacos, gringas (quesadillas) and Volcanoes. The tacos are great and you can get them on corn or flour tortillas. They stack them full of meat. Our kids love the chicken Gringas and the Pastor Gringas are also tasty. But two hidden gems are on the menu which I'm now addicted to and its the Volcanoes which is your choice of meat with cilantro and onions on a small corn tostada. They are small so you'll need a few to satisfy your craving. The other is the al Pastor Fries and they are SO good! The fries in a To-Go order is a bit bigger than the dine-in version and it'll definitely fill you up. Its waffle fries with queso Blanco and topped al Pastor. Fantastic. They have the usual bottled sodas as well as Horchata and Agua de Jamaica. The menu also lists a few desserts. Give it a try because you won't be disappointed! read more

Definitely not the best Pastor I've ever had. It was dry, and not a trace of pineapple in it. Also for the price of your quesadillas there was hardly any meat in them. But, give credit where credit is due. There is no other place in this area that has "won't break the bank" tacos that actually taste very decent (even though it's nothing like traditional trompo style Pastor) I'll definitely be coming to this place quite often! read more
