The food is great, friendly staff! I've been a few years years in a row and the food has never disappointed!

Oh my goodness, these are the best BEST tacos!!! The pastor (pork) tacos are out of this world! They are so full of flavor and just the combination of the onions and the salsa perfection. The bristek (beef) tacos are so flavorful and tender. Best pastor for sure on the entire island. The beef are incredible too, but I cannot stop thinking of the pastor tacos. I was so full but ordered pastor tacos to go to enjoy later. The charro beans were excellent and just full of flavor and temperature hot. They also make pizza, they were making a lot of pizzas and they looked good as I saw the to go orders being made. This place has street parking on the side. Employees are super nice, service is good, and the food is so incredibly perfection. This is my favorite taco place on the island and they have great hours too! Not a fancy place but you will see locals stop in for a quick bite.

I thought I found the best tacos ever yesterday. But today I discovered Los Seras' el pastor tacos. Food: simply the best tacos ever. I spent 20+ years in San Antonio, Texas and 20+ years in Austin. And I've been all over Mexico. Thought I knew tacos- nope. Not until today at Los Seras. The el pastor is simply perfect- incredible pork, great combination of flavors with the onions, pineapple and lime juice. WOW! The bistek has an incredible flavor too but it's not what I'd call tender. And the charro beans were not really beans; rather, expect a bean soup with great depth. Never had charro beans like that before today. Service: friendly waiter who spoke English. He appreciated my attempt to order in Spanish or at least pretended to appreciate my effort. Ambiance: working Jose's place. Ambiance is not the selling point here. Tip: If you really want a drink with your tacos, just plan ahead. We brought our own in sports bottles (think bicycling bottles) and the staff was perfectly content with us drinking our drinks.

Fab! Can't believe been coming to island since 2009 and never been here. Snuck in xmas eve. Likely not the traditional wait we hear. Menus on the wall. The pastor is on the spits cooking. The smells are incredible. They have two dining areas. Seated and greeted by nice server. We came for tacos and to try the pizza. The salsa is to die for. Fresh, a nice kick and chunks of tomatoes and onion. The salsa verde is so good. We went with Pastor Tacos. Perfect. Pastor is so full of flavor no grease. The chicken tacos were perfect. Simple fresh and plenty of chicken. The pizza which is a small was Pastor, Pineapple and Onion. Plenty of toppings with queso. The crust was thicker and good. Pics tell the story. Horchatas were great. No alcohol. No diet drinks. Can't wait to come back.

This place is fantastic. Wife and I popped over from our resort to get some authentic food. Insanely affordable, quick, and delicious. Probably going to order a pizza tomorrow!

Excellent one of my favorites if you're in Cozumel you must try very good and priced great.

    Pork with pineapple

So delicious. Make sure you order the pork tacos with the dripping pineapple. Delicious!!! Al pasture all around.

I can honestly say tacos are in the top two of my favorite foods. I have eaten them all my life, but never had tacos this good before! We ordered the tacos Al Pastor and the steak tacos. The steak tacos were good, but the Al Pastor was unbelievable. My wife and I had to order 3 more. Every bite was a treat. This appears to be a favorite of the locals too. Scooters were lined up outside for deliveries and locals were lined up for take out. This is off the beaten path away from the tourist areas, but definitely worth the walk. It takes about 14 minutes to walk from the ferry area to this restaurant. It is definitely worth it!

After seeing the great reviews here, we schlepped a couple extra blocks (despite a bit of rain) to visit for lunch. Well worth it. We liked Colores y Sabores so much that we returned on another day. Equally fantastic. The Margaritas (I got Mango) are great. Don't ask for frozen mango margarita because, although they will do it, it lessens the flavor of the fresh mango. Tried it both ways, so I can say for sure, lol. The Beans are something you do not want to miss. Something special about them here. The guacamole and pico de Gallo and chips are the way you'd hope: fresh, crunchy, not greasy and just enough pop. Enchiladas are fantastic - and there are three options for how you can get it. The Mole is outstanding - a little smoky, tons of rich flavor. I rarely order fajitas - but I wanted to go simple one day. Perfect. Tender chicken, and caramelized onions and peppers. Try corn or flour tortillas -- or both, like I did. Another day, I tried the tortilla soup and loved it. Soothing, simple, with strips of chicken and crunchy tortilla. We also got the chicken tacos, which were great. 3, with beans and guacamole on corn tortillas. Our fave, though, was the Chile Relleno. Heavenly. Ground beef stuffed inside and this dish was as satisfying and delicious as anything we encountered on the trip. The Carrot Cake! Definitely recommend that, too. Just sweet enough, and homemade.

The chicken mole enchiladas were outstanding -- the mole was a rich chocolate mole with the perfect amount of spice. You could really taste the depth of the sauce, not too sweet, not too spicy, just perfectly balanced and incredibly flavorful. We also tried the shrimp alioli, and that was just as impressive. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and the garlic alioli sauce was rich without being too heavy. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The atmosphere is beautiful -- lush garden setting, relaxing, and it really feels like you're dining somewhere special rather than just another tourist spot. Service was attentive and friendly the whole time. If you're in Cozumel, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I would go back just for the mole alone.

It was basically raw cucumber filled with half-cooked white onion and (maybe) spinach, smothered in a white cream sauce. I took one bite and couldn't eat another. Honestly one of the nastiest things I've ever been served at a restaurant. My boyfriend ordered the tortilla soup and it came out cold. The other "courses" were minimal: about three bites of pineapple icee, plus a few pear slices with candied nuts and goat cheese (that part was fine, but nowhere near enough to feel like a real meal). We had one drink, one bottle of water, and with tip the total was around $100. For that price, this was a complete waste of money. 0/10 recommend--very disappointing and we won't be back. Too bad- beautiful building and good service. The food was just gross.

San Miguel de Cozumel is admittedly not the most beautiful or interesting Mexican city to do touristy stuff in, so it was a treat to find some great regional cuisine to try. I was with a group, so we ordered the Molcajete (basically, mixed grilled meats in a stew), ceviche, and cochinita (stewed pulled pork), along with tortillas. All of it was great. The sauces, from the salsa to the stew broths to the ceviche sauce, were all terrific. There was mention that they dishes were spicy, but in the end, none of the stuff was super-spicy. Furthermore, the spicy stuff was often a salsa served on the side, or a whole roasted pepper that wasn't integrated into the dish, so you could calibrate your spiciness to your taste.
