    Fajita chimichanga

The service was wonderful! We could not have been any more satisfied with the young lady that waited upon us. The food was lacking. The chimichanga I had was good buy soggy. The refried beans had a foul flavor. It could be a recipe I'm not familiar with, but it tasted like it had been well past the expiration date. The wife's nachos were served with so much sauce the the chips limp and were not able to hold any of the toppings. A shame since the chips we while waiting were really good. The chimichanga dessert presented well. However, it was mainly whipped cream once we dug into it.

Living in the boondocks it's hard to find a good Mexican restaurant! We were in Martinsville today picking up supplies at Walmart. Purchased enough flour, bacon and-beans to last us till fall. As we turned the wagon toward home we passed the court house and spied los Reyes. I can't say it was authentic but it was good! The dining room was colorful and the tamales, tacos, beans and the chille rellenos were excellent. I strongly suggest you all give it a try!

Try this place out!! Authentic Mexican with a great atmosphere. Everything was so yummy and the service and personal touches just set it over the top. I can't wait to go again!!

We ended up here after a horribly long wait at another restaurant. Staff were pleasant and very quick to respond. The carnitas were delicious! So glad we came here.

Burrito Grande - not much on presentation, but the flavor was quite good!

This locally owned Mexican restaurant is filled with vibrant colors and good food. The dining area is decorated with three dimensional panels depicting various activities in Mexican life and history. Each table top has a different scene as well. I ordered a Burrito Grande for my lunch selection. The Grande is stuffed with chicken, shrimp, and steak along with tomato and onions, wrapped in a burrito, and then topped with a white cheese sauce. Fresh lettuce, tomato, and sour cream is provided on the side. I had my choice of rice or beans to complete the meal. The meal didn't look all that appealing visually (a big white cheese covered lump), but exceeded the presentation with taste. Sure, the shrimp gets a little rubbery when wrapped inside with the other hot ingredients, but managed to avoid getting too well done. The flavors were quite good, especially when I covered the burrito with the side ingredients. The beans, though a little odd in color, were tasty as well. While waiting, my waiter brought my water, complementary salsa and chips (even offering refills of all those!) and was efficient at clearing away finished plates. (Note: other servers passed my table without clearing, so I don't think this is one of those "team" service restaurants.) And when it came time to settle the bill, he brought it back quickly and processed the payment at the front counter. Overall, a very pleasant experience dining here. Nothing too exotic or adventurous on the menu, just basic Mexican fare done well. Review #870

Visited Indiana for the first time last week and found this place. I'm from California and eat Mexican food quite often and have a good idea of what it should and shouldn't taste like and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I've been to other taquerias in the middle of the country and have been very underwhelmed, but this place is legit. I'd recommend it for sure.

Food was good, generous portions, friendly staff. Also, the beer in the frozen glass made the 11 hour drive to Indiana worth it. #terps

Spur of the moment decision to eat at this establishment. Probably will never go back. Margaritas were very watery and lacked flavor.

Then the chips arrive and salsa with such a dynamic taste one bite wakes up the whole palate; it's almost impossible to stop reaching for "just one more." When the main dishes land on the table, it's like a parade of color and aroma. Plates spill over with bold and beautiful balance. And the guacamole--oh, the guacamole. Avocado whipped with bright lime, fresh cilantro, and just enough salt to make the flavors sing. It tastes alive. What truly elevates the whole experience is the spirit of the place. The staff move through the room with warmth and genuine joy, as if they're hosting a gathering of friends rather than simply serving customers. Woppo's specializes in street tacos, though they do have several other items on their menu. I arrived fairly late in the event today. Things weren't quite winding down, however, it's the time of day when things are a bit slower and some trucks start running a bit short on items. Woppo's was offering: Street tacos (served on corn or flour tortillas with onion, cilantro, and line with a choice of meats). Prices were in the $4-5 range. Tacos Al Carbon (Flour Tortilla loaded with choice of meat and covered in white queso). Prices were in the $6 range. They also had some nacho dishes and quesadilla options loaded with cheese and choice of meat. I think they may have had a taco bowl, as well. They also offered sides of refried beans, rice, fried jalapeno, and tortilla chips. They also had some add-ons and some beverages available (Coke products and a Mexican drink called Jarrito (if I remember correctly). Their online menu indicates they also have churros, stuffed churros, and cupcakes when available. I ordered chicken quesadillas - I think it was 2 that made for a good-sized meal. The price was $10 plus tax. The employees were friendly - my sense is that this was family operated and they were all quite delightful. They were starting to run out of ingredients - I saw them change things up for a couple people, however, I also saw them refund folks if the price for what they actually got was lower. I will admit I was initially leaning toward a 4-star rating because the actual process was just a lot slower than I'd hoped. It wasn't super slow, but for someone on a lunch break it definitely was time-consuming. However, I'm upping it to a 5-star for a couple reasons. First, the employees were awesome and the young man working the cash register was just super. Secondly, I have to be honest. This quesadilla was phenomenal. The ingredients were mixed perfectly and the way it was grilled was just outstanding. It may very well be the best quesadilla I've had (I'm admittedly not an expert). It was cooked perfectly in every spot. Just a delight. So, it's hard to get things absolutely right on a food truck. But, this was good food with good service and a fair price. I may wish it had been a bit faster, but it couldn't possibly have been better. Five stars all the way.
