It's basically a rite of passage to get tacos from Fuel City. I've lived in DFW for almost 10 years…read moreand have no clue why it took me this long. One random Saturday, we decided to head south and stopped at Fuel City. Note that the taco stand is cash only. I ordered Piccadillo and carne asada tacos and also picked up a cup of elote from the little stand out front. We ended up eating our tacos on the tailgate with the Dallas skyline as our view. Super simple but honestly so perfect. After that we wandered behind the car wash to go look at the longhorns and a couple of donkeys just chilling in the Texas sun. Idk why we waited so long to do this but it was such a cute, inexpensive little date idea. Also this gas station has the BEST snacks, stuff you won't find anywhere near us. If you're ever driving around DFW and see a Fuel City, stop and get some street tacos 24/7. The Piccadillo was my favorite!

I've actually had two run ins with aggressive people just trying to grab dinner after dark. You'll also see a ton of bikers hanging out; honestly, they don't bother anyone and just chill with their own groups, but the panhandling and people trying to sell you random stuff in the parking lot is constant. Also, skip the snacks inside. They price gouge like crazy! Sometimes nearly 2x what you'd pay at 7-Eleven or Tom Thumb (which aren't even cheap to begin with). Last time I checked, a bag of Hot Cheetos here was 6 bucks! For perspective, they're $3.97 at Walmart and $4.79 at Target, It's a total rip-off. Final pro tip: For the love of God, do not park under the trees on the right side of the lot. I made that mistake once and came out to find my car LITERALLY covered in bird poop. It was so bad I had to drive straight into their car wash just to see out of the windshield. Consider yourself warned.

It's not a slushy like it sounds like. It's an icy scoopable treat similar to sorbet but sweeter. The ambiance was fun and energetic. We did a half and half single scoop based on the recommendation of our cashier. It was okay until my allergy started acting up. They have a few sugar free options which we may be back for. This surely doesn't have high fructose if no sugar.

My go to order used to be a small double scoop of cherry water ice, but now I am addicted to the Gelati swirl with cherry! OMG! It is absolutely delish! I will also point out that the portion sizes are generous! Typically my boyfriend and I can share a small bc of how big they come! And they also sell pup cups! My pups already know when we go for a walk, there is a good chance we will stop by the shop for a treat! Overall the excellent service, tasty treats, and community vibe all meshed together makes for the perfect ice cream shop experience! Def will be back, and highly recommend for anyone in the area!

I paid the $1440 with my credit card and was reimbursed by the PTA. I've done no business with them since. This company recently charged my credit card $1440 TEN different times!! When I first discovered it, I reached out to the owner because I've dealt with him a few times over the years. He claimed it was a billing error and that he'd refund immediately. He didn't so I disputed all the charges and cancelled my credit card. This was February 11th. Then on February 24th, he sent me a fake refund receipt via email. My credit card company has confirmed no refund was issued. They said even if I couldn't see it posted yet, they would see it on their end. When I called him about this, he claimed it was an issue with Citi's software and then proceeded to block my phone number. My credit card company will eventually refund me after the investigation is complete. It has been an extremely time intensive process for me to file all the claims. I think it's very important that I share this information! I have no doubt I'm not the first customer he's done this to. I plan to report this company to the Better Business Bureau as well as the financial crimes department of DPD.

Nut allergy friendly - the salads have nuts, everything else good!…read more DO NOT USE THE PARKING LOT QR.. there is a 2 hour parking validation at the restaurant. Outdoor seating only. Order at the window, sit down. They've got guest wifi though! Time to Food: 6 Minutes I went looking for somewhere to spend my $25 off $50 inKind credit and applied it easily here, getting a flavored margarita, churros, and 14 tacos. Took a bunch of tacos to go while I was in town for a conference, ate some tacos while there. They're a brick and mortar spot but considering they had my 14 tacos ready in 5-6 minutes, definitely premade meats. And the quality was unfortunately reflecting it. Overall - all of the corn tacos felt a little undercooked, a little too much bite. I only tried the green sauce and honestly couldn't distinguish any flavor notes from it, one of the weaker salsas I've had. Al Pastor (3.5/5): Oily but decent in substance. The flavors were good. Carne Asada (3/5): The meat was a little dry, but the biggest downside was just that there wasn't enough of it. Calabacitas (3/5): Same as the carne asada, just not enough substance to the taco. Flavors were fine. Churro (4.5/5): The redemption of the meal?? They did forget my churro, and it came out warm and delicious. Soft inside, crispy outside - actually an incredible churro here! Margarita (4/5): Stayed frozen, so a well blended margarita. Could've used a little extra flavor for the $2 spent extra. Altogether a nice spot for a fast and decent hangout at a reasonable price (and huge bonus for taking inKind credits), but I've had much better street tacos at their price point from trucks. 4/5 for inKind value, 3/5 without it.

I'm from the very bottom tip of South Texas where there is a taco place on every corner, so I'm picky when it comes to tacos. When we arrived, the service was great, super kind and helpful. He walked us through the menu and made recommendations, which we really appreciated. I also loved the ambience and the small, cozy feel of the restaurant. It felt like we were in Mexico. We started with chips and queso, which was a white queso and pretty good. I ordered two bistek tacos with guac and cheese. While they were generously filled, the corn tortillas were pretty dry and the bistek was fattier than what I'm used to, making the tacos feel a bit underwhelming. We also tried the chicken quesadillas that had a slight sweetness to them. The flour tortilla was good, but next time I'd probably go with a regular cheese quesadilla or try a different meat. I'd be open to going back again, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype for me.
