They had a large variety of salsas which I was eager to try. My goto is usually the salsa verde and they had the traditional and avocado version. Upon the first bite of the salsa verde, I was caught off guard because it was so salty. When the server came over and took our order, I felt the need to let him know because it was not edible (IMO) but my husband also agreed. They kindly took the feedback and shortly after I saw some staff go over to the salsa bar and took it away. They actually ended up changing or fixing it and it was so much better! Hubby's tacos were awesome, super flavorful meats. My pork carnita dish was absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, the rice was addicting and it was a great combination. The service was great as well so we look forward to coming back!

We have our favorite go to restaurants but we decided to try a new place & we are glad we did! Ramon greeted us & he was very friendly & provided great service! Inside is huge & very clean! My husband had the California Burrito Bowl & he loved it; the steak was very tender and seasoned well! I had the steak fajitas, the portion size was huge and the dish was packed with flavor! We cook Mexican dishes a lot at home & normally when we eat out at a Mexican restaurant, it lacks enough seasoning, but not here!! We will definitely be back! Bonus: I had enough leftovers to feed us both the next day for lunch! :)

All of the food is made when it is ordered, all fresh, the queso is fantastic! And it's made fresh. The guacamole is fresh, the EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS, I will make the longest review if I name everything that's delish. I order take out a lot from here and I don't always call in, they are so fast at getting my order to me. They also have Mexican Coca Cola (made with cane sugar, just like REAL coke was made before they messed with it). From 1 to 10, I would give the restaurant a 20+

However, today they had a presumably new employee who did not understand what "a la carte" meant when they have an entire "a la carte" section on their menu. This was able to be cleared up after some explaining. We also ordered sopapillas (advertised with honey, butter, and cinnamon) and received some other dessert that, by the time it was opened at home, was covered in melted ice cream and chocolate. I called the restaurant to inform them that their employee may need further training and their response was to first ask if I had the correct restaurant (I did, they repeated the name back to me over the phone while asking this) and then to ask when this happened. When I responded with the approximate time the order was taken, the response was literally "nuh uh." I will not be back, regardless of how much I enjoy their food. That sort of response to someone attempting to alert you to a problem with your staff is unacceptable.

That being said, we decided to try this place on our way home based off the reviews. Both "servers" had a 'I don't want to be here attitude'. There was a hair in our cheese dip, no "sorry about that". When the food came, the sever basically threw the plates at us, again not a word. Everything was bland. No flavor whatsoever! As for ambiance, ha the fast food booths were super uncomfortable. Oh and when the server cleaned the table across from us, she flung food towards us. Try it at your own risk.

They had a pretty nice outdoor patio but it was too hot for that. We had a really nice server, young handsome guy. He was very attentive and replenished our chips periodically when they ran low. We stopped by the salsa bar and grabbed a plethora of different kinds. Unfortunately there were a couple that were "bad" or started to ferment. It was not a pleasant way to find out and I didn't want to point it out to the server because it may just be me. My husband did taste it and agree that it was like that but didn't want to make a big deal of it so we just ate the chips. I got carne asada because it was so good last time and hubby got some asada tacos. When my entree came, I noticed the rice looked to be either undercooked or possibly al dente because of the texture, you could see each grain and it wasn't soft and fluffy looking. When I went to take a spoonful it was actually cooked but could tell it was overly saturated in butter. I have never had Mexican style rice cooked this way and it was a bad representation of it. I understand if they want to be more Americanized or cater to a certain demographic but rice is simple and it tastes best made the authentic way, not with a bunch of butter. It was inedible for me and I just worked around the rest. The steak had a good char and had nice flavor, but was a bit dry. The tacos my husband ordered seemed a bit messy, and the meat was in large chunks rather than chopped in smaller pieces like how we've normally had steak tacos. Just didn't seem like there was a lot of effort put into the food made that night and we will most likely go back to the other location instead. Service was good, food and drinks were underwhelming.
