Phase I consisted of resurrecting a dilapidated and unsafe driveway and extending a retaining wall for level access from our driveway to the front door (while allowing for a Timber Tech patio installation next month}. Aaron's Father did some work for us several years ago so we contacted Aaron for the job. He was attentive to our needs, and provided a quick and reasonable estimate...so we accepted the quote after assessing a few other questionable estimates from other contractors. We were able to get on his schedule quickly...and the job was completed in four days! Peter and Aaron did most of the work...they, and their support crew, did an incredible job! Our neighbors commented on how good it looks and were so happy with how quickly they worked (so parking was not an issue). We had neighbors, who were out on a walk and saw the BCS sign on our jobsite, tell us about their good experience with BCS. Aaron and Peter were wonderful in handling the potential problem areas of the project, and offered great advice on the best way to resolve the issues. They just completed the project this afternoon, and the finished product way outshines our expectations! The slope improvements (we live on a hill}, and the incorporation of the wall extension to ensure a smooth transition to our front door from the driveway, improved accessibility and obviously increased our property value! Now we can effectively launch into Phase II (Timber Tech Patio), Phase III (Custom Fence} and Phase IV (Front Yard Turf, Garden Wall, Plantings and Paver Borders). Thanks Aaron, Peter, and the Rest of the Crew for making this an easy and optimally functional (and great-looking) project Phase I...

Large chunks of stucco were taking/broken out of the house walls by the workers. Wet concrete was splashed all over the house, fences, plants, gates and yardwork. The mess they left took me two full working days to clean up, no exaggeration. The entire crew disappeared for one full week without a phone call or a text message about what was going on. Hydraulic fluid from their loader leaked fluid all over the sidewalk and street. I could go on with more.

They ripped out the old concrete, leveled the land to almost no slope, and installed pavers. The crew showed up on time, consistently each day during the project. This is the third project IGL has done for us. I can't recommend them highly enough.

They transformed the outside of our home, and it now looks and feels like a magazine spread! Just today, I received compliments from two separate strangers on the front yard. We constantly get compliments on the appearance of our home. Samantha was the landscape architect who created the design, and it was amazing to see her lay out the vision. She saved us space in ways I definitely couldn't have conceived of on my own. She said the remodel would be like doubling our living space, and she was right! Scott oversaw the construction from start to finish. He was very attentive and obviously cared about and was fully invested in the success of the project. He had an expertise with plants and gave great guidance to give me the colors I wanted in plants that would work for our space and the SoCal heat. I am constantly smiling at the plants Scott suggested. They are thriving, and I wouldn't change a thing. The crew was respectful, clean and did a beautiful job. It was a long project, but Pacific Outdoor kept their initial timeline. Our main reason for going with Pacific Outdoor was that they were a one-stop shop. They could do everything. They truly delivered, and it is better than we ever imagined! It was so easy to look at their choices and select what we wanted. They had a wide variety of design choices. We replaced most of the grass in the back with their pavers and used the same pavers for our driveway. They look fantastic. We have a neighbor that had Pacific Outdoor build them a firepit that they love. We received great guidance and attention from the full team all along the way. They didn't quit until the project was finished to our satisfaction. As I float in our beautiful pool and eat tangerines off of my new tree, I feel like a queen and couldn't be happier after choosing Pacific Outdoor! Our family highly recommends them!

(They had also done an excellent job on the pool deck five years earlier, before I knew I was going to fill in the pool.) I have been very pleased with the results, which have really elevated my enjoyment of my home's outdoor areas. I wasted thousands of dollars having them do a terrible job on my pool deck, and had to have Pacific rip out their work and fix it. It was an expensive mistake that I hope to save others from repeating. If I had gone with Pacific in the first place, I would have saved lots of money and hassle. True Landscape did a really great job of making some lovely improvements to our yard! Our yard was…read morea complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ). We have actually been going out every day to enjoy it now (over the past month) when we literally never used our yard before. Thank you!!
