Phase I consisted of resurrecting a dilapidated and unsafe driveway and extending a retaining wall for level access from our driveway to the front door (while allowing for a Timber Tech patio installation next month}. Aaron's Father did some work for us several years ago so we contacted Aaron for the job. He was attentive to our needs, and provided a quick and reasonable estimate...so we accepted the quote after assessing a few other questionable estimates from other contractors. We were able to get on his schedule quickly...and the job was completed in four days! Peter and Aaron did most of the work...they, and their support crew, did an incredible job! Our neighbors commented on how good it looks and were so happy with how quickly they worked (so parking was not an issue). We had neighbors, who were out on a walk and saw the BCS sign on our jobsite, tell us about their good experience with BCS. Aaron and Peter were wonderful in handling the potential problem areas of the project, and offered great advice on the best way to resolve the issues. They just completed the project this afternoon, and the finished product way outshines our expectations! The slope improvements (we live on a hill}, and the incorporation of the wall extension to ensure a smooth transition to our front door from the driveway, improved accessibility and obviously increased our property value! Now we can effectively launch into Phase II (Timber Tech Patio), Phase III (Custom Fence} and Phase IV (Front Yard Turf, Garden Wall, Plantings and Paver Borders). Large chunks of stucco were taking/broken out of the house walls by the workers. Wet concrete was splashed all over the house,fences, plants, gates and yardwork. Heavy duty tape was stuck to the front door to protect it from splashing cement, but when they pulled the tape off and pull the finish off the door too. The mess they left took me two full working days to clean up, no exaggeration. The entire crew disappeared for one full week without a phone call or a text message about what was going on. Hydraulic fluid from their loader leaked fluid all over the sidewalk and street. I could go on with more.

They ripped out the old concrete, leveled the land to almost no slope, and installed pavers. They had to wrestle with some unexpected PVC/irrigation problems, but handled it easily (Gilbert is a PVC genius). The end product is beautiful. The crew showed up on time, consistently each day during the project. This is the third project IGL has done for us. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Our yard was…read morea complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ).
