When in Cabo we eat exclusively at taco spots and try to find new ones to try each trip. While we typically avoid any spots on the marina as we assume they are likely underwhelming tourist traps, the happy hour margaritas drew us in here.
Initially we were planning on just having drinks, but we were hungry and didn't want to keep wandering around, so we decided to give it a try. The server was incredibly friendly and was even kind to bring a stand for my purse.
There are options for dine in the main restaurant or the adjoining patio on the marina. We opted for the restaurant, but many diners were on the patio. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.
I am SO glad we did! We ordered a variety of tacos- Al pastor, asada, shrimp governor, Cajun shrimp, Al mojo de Ajo shrimp. It was all incredibly delicious! The tacos were served with a generous selection of accouterments to allow diners to enhance their tacos if they choose.
While everything was delicious, the standouts for us were the Al pastor (roasted on a spit in front of the restaurant), Al mojo de ajo shrimp and the Cajun shrimp. It was so good that we actually came back two nights later just for the Cajun shrimp! They were juicy and plump with an addictive marinade.
We are still talking about these tacos weeks later, that's how insanely good they were! Don't overlook this spot! read more
