First time visitor to this small bakery located on very busy Azusa Ave. The bakery was very clean, organized and fully stocked. The two ladies who assisted me were extremely friendly and the bread I purchased was DELICIOUS, warm and fresh. This is my new bakery to visit when I am craving Mexican sweet bread which is often

I haven't had sweet bread in a long time and was craving it. I went on Yelp to see what locations was on the way. I decided to try this place. I ordered 3 white sweet breads and total was $2.25. The price wasn't expensive at all. The bread tasted nice and soft, but it tasted bland to me. My search for delicious sweet bread continues. The staff were friendly. The was back parking with limited space, but there is additional parking at a nearby plaza.

The service is ok. Location looks decent. Has its own parking lot, so it's convenient. The bread is ah is ok. So I was able to try a few different ones. The conchas are good, but they are made with anise. So it isn't your typical concha taste. The cone looking things is probably one of the best, the filling is really good. That would be one to taste is you do come here. Then the quesadilla was not good at all. Once I bit into it all I was able to check was butter. Even the f you smelled it, nothing but butter. Not what it is suppose to taste like. Then the churro not great. Tasted old and stale. So would I recommend this place? I wouldn't. But if you do come here just have the come looking bread because that's really the only one worth eating.

After…read morecoming here a few times, I've got nothing but good things to say and a highly recommended place to dine at or pick up if you're in the area. As soon as you enter the restaurant, all their baked good items on the display case is so mouth watering and enticing. My favorite baked good items are their coffee cakes, danishes, muffins, sourdough bread, and all the cookies. NOTE: Their in house sourdough bread is not only to die for, but sells out what feels like within minutes of them opening up on the weekends. That's how delicious their bread is. Another baked good that I consider to die for is their lemon pistachio olive oil cake that's placed by the register. The cake is moist and there's a good lemon flavor with a crunch of pistachio with every bite. Every time I'm in downtown Glendora whether it's for a stroll or an errand, Crust & Crumble is always my pit stop. The breakfast & lunch menu is also excellent and they use their in house sourdough for all the sandwiches. The Crusty, Jalapeno Honey, Italian, and BLTA are my favorites. I'm looking forward to trying all the sandwiches and breakfast offerings in my future trips. I've only tried the cold brew here and I can say they use some good quality beans. The restaurant is long and small and can only fit about 2 people width wise as there are 3-4 tables that can seat 2 people per table inside. They do have outdoor seating available. Restaurant is clean and I believe there isn't a bathroom for the public. During the weekdays, you would be able to order and get your food pretty quick. However, on the weekends, expect the line to be out the door due to it being small plus the weekend crowd. Most of the items on the breakfast & lunch menu will take a minimum of 20 minutes during the weekends. I've always had excellent customer service with the staff on every visit. They are personable, friendly, and will take their time to answer all the questions. Parking is never an issue with plenty of street parking and multiple parking lots.

So it's been a while since we visited. But during our return from Palm Desert back to Long Beach, we took a slight detour to Glendora to pick up their famous donuts during late morning, hoping that it wasn't too busy. There wasn't much of a line, with plenty of surface parking nearby. It's walk-up only, with a small window in the front where you place your order and get your box. The guy manning the window was giving off strange vibes: definitely felt it as I watched him interact with the customers in front of us: telling vs listening. The exit to the line is the same as the entrance, so the previous customers had to squeeze past us. I then waited for the cashier to come back...as he did and before I could speak, he slammed shut the screen on the window in my face and yelled something to the effect of ~I'm busy, will come back in a bit~. The slamming of the door is a practiced bit, and was meant to show everyone who was in charge. He did come back in a bit, but by this time I was nonplussed. I knew what to order (thank goodness), but then he asks 'What kind of strawberry?'...idk. So I pointed to the famous strawberry (as mentioned on the receipt)...no response, but he must have gotten what he wanted. Then his next response was 'You will pay for this AFTER I've boxed up the donuts' as he pointed to the credit card machine. What's funny was that he smiled and joked with his co-workers while he was doing this (just not at the customers)...so this must be the normal here. We got 5 things in total: 2 tiger tails ($3.40 each), 2 strawberry ($6.50), 1 sugar ($2.05). All were excellent donuts , with the whole strawberries being used not being overly sweet this time. The dough used for the donuts reminds me of a very good Chinese donut holes: a bit yeasty, but not as much as a KrispyKreme, and not cakey at all. With a sugar glaze, it very well could be my perfect donut. The donuts are indeed all that, but the possibility of such rude customer interaction (and that the owners are putting him and his attitude out in front instead of in the back where it belongs) negates any inclination to want to return (note to my future self).
