Lots of places in Granada sell ice cream to tourists. This one is legit. Ice cream is really good and fresh. I think made in-house. Prices are real. Usually a long line but it goes pretty fast and service couldn't be more friendly and helpful. They work hard scooping up ice cream continuously. No place to sit so you take it with you and eat at one of the nearby plazas or while you walk. We went twice in two days! read more

I'm not sure why there are mixed reviews. Los Italianos is so good that I went twice in the same day. The smallest cup was just €1.60, which the next size up was €2.70. Even with the smallest size, they let me have two flavors. An English-translated menu is available upon request at the counter. Strictly a grab-and-go affair. There's not a table in the joint. read more

You have to come here and get the ice cream cake cone. It's a sugary sweet experience. I don't even know the exact flavors of the ice cream and the type of nuts that are in it. It's just good and not overly rich. The cone is a bit too sugary for my taste but it adds a lovely crunch! Staff are super friendly and prices are very reasonable. Place is super clean and pretty! read more

Ice cream quality was just above average and the ice cream itself was melting. Very busy place and if you are not a native Spanish speaker, the server will leave you. Fortunately another server took pity and helped us. I would not go back. read more

Gelato is nothing special, but the service is exceptionally rude! We're working hard to speak Spanish, and we're a very respectful family. We were treated with disdain because my husband used a similar word for the size of the cup to one of the specialties when he ordered. Furthermore, showing a little grace and kindness doesn't cost anything! read more

My coffee flavored gelato was delicious -- the coffee flavor was strong, which I like. The price was surprisingly affordable, more so than I expected! G got a small cup with 2 flavors for 1,50 Euros and I got a medium cone with 2 flavors in a single scoop for 1,50 Euros as well. There is an English menu, and they let you have 1-2 sample flavors before you order. The employees were nice. In addition to gelato cups and cones, you can also take home a container of gelato or order a selection of other items including ice cream bars covered in chocolate. read more

Teeny tiny scoops of gelato. As my fiancee said, "My nipples are bigger than the scoops we got at Los Italianos." Kinda weird you can't see the flavors with your own eyes. You have to read them off a board and the employees retrieve them from metal freezers. I preferred the gelato at Heladería Sabbore. Sue me. 2.5 stars I felt like this place was a tad overrated. They have tons of flavors, and service is pretty fast. I really liked the cones themselves, but my gelato was just OK. I tried coffee and candied chestnut and felt like they were overly sweet and not creamy enough. I wouldn't go back. read more

Missing this gelato gem big time right now. They offer a variety of flavors, all made in house, and it's super inexpensive (I love Spain and Granada, ahhh). We stopped through here almost every night while in Granada, and my only regret is that we didn't go more. If I remember correctly, their horchata de chufa is also on point. read more

What a delight to stumble upon this place ... it was just a perfect treat after a late dinner .. the crowd outside speaks volumes about this place .. made us come back the next day . If there is a long line in the front, walk to the back. They have multiple servers and you can get your gelato more quickly. I ordered the pistachio/chocolate cup. Overall I thought the gelato was very tasty. If you like seeing your gelato before you buy it, this is a place where the lids are solid. read more

there was lines going out both doors of this place so i thought i'd try it out. the line moved quickly thankfully (it was 97^F). directions were not very clear so it was a little difficult to order. you can order a specialty or a cone/cup size. it was a little underwhelming to be honest. the flavors were alright and the textures were a little off for some flavors. it's worth trying to decide for yourself. read more

Even though so many people were coming through, the staff was friendly and patient with our orders. Price was also very cheap for such delicious ice cream! I got a small cone in banana and my boyfriend got the cream flavor. Both were amazing! read more

Very busy ice cream shop. You have to first select your cone or cup size, number of scoops and pay, then you select your ice cream flavors. The cones are just sweet enough. We had ice cream here at least three times while in Granada, trying new flavors each time and loved all of them. read more

1 € for 1 scoop - what more can I say?? We were in Granda for four days and came here twice every day just for the gelato. My big sister studied abroad here and told us that this was the best place in town. It's always crowded with children, couples, people of all ages coming to enjoy the delicious cheap gelato. Must try if you're in the area!! The coffee flavor was our favorite. Their slice of ice cream cake in a cone was also popular - I tried it and it kinda reminded me of ice cream fruit cake?? Stuck to just the regular gelato the other times we went back. Tip: there's a list of the menu + flavors in English - you just have to ask!! The service is very kind you just can't be afraid to speak up. read more

Read all the good reviews about Los Italianos and put it on my list. Had some free time in the afternoon and decided to try them out. Ordered the cassata, which many seemed to enjoy. I didn't. Thought it was made of skimmed milk. Didn't find the creaminess of Spain ice-creams. There were no nuts and the flavors were not distinguishable. read more

Los Italianos was highly rated on Google Maps, so my friend and I decided to visit. On a Wednesday afternoon, there was a line out the door, with a good 15 people or more. Luckily the line moves quickly because service is fast, but it means that the ice cream is good. There are many flavor options, but the first time we went we ordered the cassata. La cassata is an Italian cake type of thing (look it up), but at Los Italianos it is ice cream cake-like, with fried fruit. It was interesting. I am not sure if I would try it again, maybe next time with a different flavor. My friend and I also came back to try their regular ice cream. We ordered the 1€ mixed flavor scoop, which was perfect for a snack. I ordered strawberry and cafe, and raspberry and orange. The mix of sweet and savory was good, and their orange ice cream flavor was spot on. Also, depending on the time of day there may not even be a line. Los Italianos is worth stopping by for. read more

1 euro a scoop? You need to come and get your gelato and sorbet fix here, ASAP! Service is simple - pick your flavors, number of scoops, cup or cone and have a wonderful time! In the day time, it's a bit of a circus with the crowd. However, at night it's fairly thinned out and you shouldn't have to wait at all. read more

This place was quite delicious, yet unfortunately, I was still a tad disappointed. You'd think the advertised presidential approval from Michelle Obama would guarantee the ultimate helado experience, yet I was left feeling I just had another good batch of ice cream in Spain. I got the Cassata, and if you're looking for something different and delicious and unique, then it's an excellent choice. It looks like the took a layered ice cream cake and cut it in slices and then put it in a cone. There are several flavors of it in the slice and they all taste well cohesively. However, it did not knock my socks off. I do intend on returning tomorrow to try some specific flavors though and maybe then my opinion will change. For now, it's really good, definitely recommended, but I will not guarantee a life-changing, gelato-based rapture. read more

Excellent! The best gelato I've had outside of Italy. This made me so happy on discovery! I have to preface that it is not quite on par with Italian standards, but it is certainly almost good enough to compare to. You'll see there are always crowds of people inside - follow the crowd! The stracciatella and nougat flavors were the best. We went here 3x in two days because I just couldn't get enough. Their fruit flavors were not as strong so I'd recommend sticking to the creamy ones! P.S. They also have a English translated menu. read more

I agree with Jeremy B. Certainly good ice cream (gelato?) but nothing extraordinary. I guess I expected more given the First Lady's patronage and some of the glowing reviews on Yelp. A single cone is very affordable (just 1 Euro) but contained the smallest scoop of ice cream (or gelato) that I have ever seen in my life. read more

Probably the best gelato in Granada! This place is always packed, but the line moves fairly quickly. A lot of people order the ice cream cake in a cone or with a waffle. I tried the ice cream cake, and I like the novelty of it, but was disappointed that you don't get to pick the flavors. We came back the next day and my favorite is definitely the hazelnut. It was creamy and yummy, and a nice way to end the day. This gelateria is also very affordable compared to the others I've seen while traveling in Spain! read more

Ice cream cake in a cone - now how neat is that?! Everyone who comes to granada DEFINITELY needs to try it once. They have the tarte (what they call the icecream cake) in two flavors chocolate and coffee. I ordered the chocolate - wasn't disappointed at all I also really enjoyed the kiwi ice cream - new favorite in my book! Small scoop for 1 euro - what a steal! read more

Went here twice in two days. A bit small but the service is quick and friendly. Prices are good for the amount. Absolutely amazing pineapple (piña) gelato. Highly recommended. Update: Came in a third time later in the same day. If I ever come back to Granada I'm dragging my family here. Still fantastic. read more

Probably the most crowded place we went to in Granada (including the Alhambra, lol). The ice cream here is the real deal, and super cheap too. Nata and cassata were both so great, this place is definitely worth the hype. read more

Best gelato in all of Granada! If you're lucky to be in Spain during the summer check it out. Don't miss it, they close down once summer is over. We were lucky our study abroad program started late august, wouldn't have wanted to miss this place. Fun Fact: The First Lady (Michelle Obama) has been here as well. This Italian ice cream place is bad news for me. I am ruined for ice creams in Vancouver :( I can easily say the ice cream they have is the best I have ever had. The texture is soft but a bit chewy and the flavours are very delicious. People who work there are all local and super nice and genuine. You will feel like you are in your grandma and grandpas ice cream store. So friendly and caring!! read more
