Fresh-squeezed orange juice made in front of you, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, a ham and cheese assortment - all excellent. I left here full and sated and caffeinated and happy, ready for a full day of wandering the glorious (though hilly) city of Granada.

I had trouble choosing but went for the Orient winds one, while my mum ordered Arabian Nights. Both were served in the beautiful traditional Moroccan style teapot, and it each was enough for a couple of cups so you could easily order one pot for up to 4 people. We shared ours and had to fill a few cups each to finish. The tea tasted pretty nice. I preferred the Arabian Nights one more as it was more stronger. The teahouse is not huge but has a fair number of seats, no outdoor seating due to the location being on a very narrow street but the cafe is open so it's like sitting outside with a roof over your head. The tea costs €3 per pot and there is free wifi. Service was quick and efficient, and staff were nice too.

This is a bakery that is famous for their piononos, a typical cake originally from Granada that was…read moregiven to Pope Pius IX once and he loved it so much, therefore the name PioNoNo. The little cake is made up of two parts, a thin sheet of rolled cake, forming a cylinder moistened in a syrup made with water and sugar in equal parts, which gives it a pleasant and fresh texture, filled and topped with cream toasted with a blowtorch. We had a couple and it was spongy on the bottom and sweet and crusty on top...a delicious dessert....something very much Granada (even though it really started in the town of Santa Fe, not far from Granada). There are 14 of these Ysla store in the area, from a company that started back in 1897.

If I had known, I would have preferred to order two different teas, and would have like she come back and asked.
