The best bread and cafe in Granada. I've been living in Granada for a year, and there just aren't many third wave coffee places here. He sells coffee from his friends at Ineffable and makes it in a La Marzocco Strada. Their bread is the star. I've had the baguettes, campagne, and chocolate croissants dozens of times. Minuit is one of my weekly stops. The owner, Ishmael, is just the best dude. They take pride in their work and it shows.

    Amazing latte and OJ

Nostalgic cafe and bakery on the edge of a square in Albayzin. Stumbled upon while wandering the…read moremany side streets of Granada and were very excited to try the leche merengada and pionono. You can eat indoors at the diner-style counter or take your food to go at one of the benches in the square and people watch. Like a bar, staff will greet you first come first serve and ask for your order. You can point at what you want from the display case if you're not sure what things are and they'll patiently wait for you to make up your mind (unless it's busy). Everything was cheap and both the pionono and leche merengada incredibly smooth and delicious. Stop in - you won't regret it.

Amazing! So happy I stumbled upon this place in Plaza Larga…read more First of all plaza larga is a wonderful little market place where you can see the locals shop and buy vegetables/fruits. They also have some yardsale type clothing for 5 Euro a piece, but shop carefully some of them have holes or stains! Back to the pastries!! They were SO good, seriously delicious. After we went back to our Airbnb and I had my first bite, I decided I HAD to go back tomorrow. They do not speak English, but my broken Spanish worked fine .. ( I took French in school). They're very kind and friendly -- have a nice espresso for breakfast with traditional bread + tomato -- such a great way to start the day. All the desserts are delicious, I don't think you can go wrong here!
