The food and service has always been quite tasty. Today we noticed they changed the tortilla chips and they were thicker and not nearly as good as before. Everything else was great but half of the reason we liked it was the previous light, warm chips and salsa they served. Don't like the new chips at all. I do wish they'd change back to the original chips but to each their own. read more

Great value and high quality. I ordered the beef taco lunch special. It came with rice and beans and unlimited chips with both hot and mild homemade salsa. Both salsas were tasty - sometimes hot salsas are hot but not flavorful but not the case here. Also, chips were hot and fresh. All very good and I highly recommend. read more

Great food and great service! The fajita tacos were so good! I got one steak and one chicken. Large pieces of meat compared to most Mexican restaurants and extremely flavorful. I would say the best I've had. The only downfall was the cheese dip, it had no flavor to it. read more

Terrible! From service to food. Queso tasted like evaporated milk. Our soda tasted old. chili verde was chunky and gristly. All food had no taste. Salsa was awful! Save yourself and do not go here. read more

This...was absolutely horrible. We ordered loaded nachos and a side of queso. The queso was watery; the nachos came out looking like they had melted sandwich cheese covering stale chips. Listened to the lady at the table next to us complain that her red sauce tasted like pizza sauce. I'd be willing to try something more authentic here, but anyone seeking tex-mex should probably seek somewhere else. read more

I've had the burritos, chimichanga and the Chile Verde. The Chili Verde is so so good, all of it is delicious but the Chili Verde is my favorite. My husband gets the fajita tacos and says they're the best he's ever had. It's not fancy at all but that's ok, the food makes up for it. read more

Today is the first time I've eaten here and my son both got the fajita lunch special and I love Mexican food and this is pretty good, not many customers after 1pm but good service family run restaurant, the staff may not have a great grasp on English but what I ordered we had no issues with and it was all correct. I will come back to try their Burrito Grande which is similar to a dish I used to get in Texas. Salsa was good we got one hot and one medium neither was spicy hot to either of us but had good flavor just no spicy heat but most salsa varies by day and who makes it at most mom and pop Mexican restaurants and today no heat. Price for amount of food was also great $10.50 lunch each for sizzling beef fajitas. read more

Service here was ok. They weren't very busy so I think they could've been a bit faster. I also noticed some construction workers who were Mexican came in after us and ordered after us got their food before us. Not sure if that was a coincidence or if there's just some racist treatment giving on there. Chips tasted like the oil is bad. Salsa was ok and the spicy salsa was really good. Tacos de asada had no flavor what so ever and the beef tasted very low quality. I always ask for a side of tomatillo with my tacos asada and this place has no clue what tamatillo is because she brought out a spicy salsa that was orange. Over the meal wasn't awful but I won't be going back. read more

This place is great. My family and I love going because the people who run it are so friendly and they make amazing food. The prices are way lower than what we expected to pay and service is fast and efficient. Its always very clean when we go and has lovely murals on the walls. The most authentic Mexican food in Missouri. The salsa's, mild and hot, are very fresh and flavorful. The chicken enchiladas with green sauce are perfect!. The rice and beans are fresh AND flavorful. The menu is large and has photo's of the different offerings. We travel from Springfield twice a month to eat here. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are seek authentic, homemade cuisine. read more
