Kay ..

I started going to this library because it's close to my work. Every interaction so far has been extremely pleasant. Today, a woman named Rachel at the front desk near the main entrance helped me out. She was extremely kind and her personality shines through! Books are so easy to find. Although its a smaller library, this is probably my favorite one thus far.

Beautiful library with an amazing team that work there! Anytime I've had questions, the front desk or upstairs desk host have always been super informative. The restrooms are always clean and tidy. They have one located on the first floor as you walk straight in behind a few large bookshelves. More restrooms are located on the 2nd floor to the left, down the aisle. This library has so many nooks and crannies that you can easily find while either studying or perusing a potential book check out. They even have a lovely area on the backside of the building for hanging out. The library itself is pretty modern and somewhat futuristic. When you walk in you see the cool stairway to get to the 2nd floor. They have modern art as you walk up the stairs. Super cool! They offer various backpacks filled with tools for projects and adventures like hiking, knitting, etc. to check out. They also have a calendar of events like story time for children, support groups, informational meetings, etc. Another amazing advantage is that you can download the Hoopla app to your smart tv and you have the ability to choose movies, audiobooks from your local library. Really proud to have such a wonderful library in our quaint town!

As always - beware of Prius drivers. Can't drive and can't park ‍

This is the best library I've been to in the South Bay. Go figure it's in Los Gatos, guess those property taxes are good for something This library combines a pleasant location, being a modern and clean building, having an insane kids section with all kinds of toys. They have lots of comfortable chairs, easy parking nearby (watch out for Priuses as usual), and the staff is very nice. If you're anywhere nearby and like libraries this is the best you're going to fine. It's better than the Cupertino library, Vineland, and Cambrian Park ones by a good margin. Thanks rich people for paying taxes!

The Los Gatos Library has a lot of potential to add more seating around the library. I came here for the first time and had trouble finding a place to work. One thing that I didn't like was that the librarians here don't keep the loud ass high school kids in check. Other libraries I would go to would quiet down the students if they're talking too loud but they didn't when I was here. Furthermore, the wifi speeds here are pretty slow. It's almost 2019 and it shouldn't be taking like 30 seconds just to load up Google. One plus of this library versus other libraries like Milpitas is that the inside doesn't smell like homeless people which is a big plus since I stopped going to Milpitas because I couldn't tolerate the smell anymore.

Size matters not when it comes to public libraries. This très petite library is one of the best for its size. Even better than some libraries twice its size. It is a modern library that fits into Silicon Valley like a hand in a glove. It has all the modern accoutrements that make up the many ways we access information. Library collections have evolved from books and periodicals to include film, video, e-books, internet... Tout dans le monde. What is surprising is the number of young people here. Los Gatos High School is spitting distance (no I didn't try it) from the library. Many parents use the library as a meeting point for their young'uns. Which is kind of cool. Today's libraries also seem to serve as a safe place for the homeless and this one is no different. It is a peaceful scene here as it should be. Well done Los Gatos for making this library a truly open public place welcoming to all.

What a beautiful, modern, spacious, detailed and thoughtful library, love at fist visit

The inside of the library was so neat and clean. There was a lot of natural lighting too, which made the library seem more inviting. The kid's section of the library has a large selection of books. There is a play structure with a slide, a "bonfire" area, and a play corner for new walkers. There are even a few reading books by the window. My son had a great time walking around, exploring, and reading some books. When it was time for storytime, the librarian walked my son and his baby group to a private room. It's nice knowing that they offer this service aside from the regular weekly storytime. They have a parking lot, which was about 90% full by the time I left around noon. I went on a weekday.

I've gotten a good amount of work and reading done in this library. I also love how close it is to Highway 85, so I can quickly stop by to return items or pick up reserved items when I'm in a hurry. The Saratoga, Cupertino, and Morgan Hill Libraries have all redefined the standard I expect libraries to have now. MLK Library in DTSJ is trash compared to these three IMO. The sheer number of books, blu-rays, and video games each library has is insane. You're missing out if you don't sign up for a Santa Clara County Library card!

The faculty and staff that that work in the admissions office and the Desp department are dope as well. That being said the school has a few things that are not going for it. Like the fact that the water bottle filters need changing to freshwater so they don't have a bitter copper taste. Mm gotta love those pennies on my tongue every now and then. On the second hand is an absolute embarrassment the toilets I don't know why they thought it was a great idea to ruin the toilets but they did it and me a 6' guy that usually has to go in the handicap bathroom stalls has to sit at an angle of which is totally not acceptable for then I might be leaving a mess for someone else. Yes that's right the bathroom toilet paper dispensers are to damn close to my damn legs I can't even stretch out and be comfortable whilst going to the John. You guys messed up big time. The third and most important goal in this case the coffee in the cafeteria was nice when we had drip coffee and now it's not so great. Enough said. Signed, The Lone Reviewer
