I met the owner, Gusto, explained the situation, and after talking for a few minutes about the faded Italian beard style I was going for, he knew exactly what to do. He completely salvaged what I had and made it look great. The shop was clean, everyone was friendly, and the whole experience was quick and professional. While Bostonian's charme is in the barbers' entertaining manly dirty talk and Roosters is known for its luxurious, formal appearance of shop and employees, IMHO, this shop strikes the golden middle between the two. Peter, the manager / main barber, is a master of his art, took 1.5h for my first visit, 1h after opening hours, on a Sunday, and created one of the best beard and hair looks I ever had. Including a greatly honest consultation, talking me out of my idea to grow my hair shoulders long based on my hair structure and what would look good on me. he had a nice collection of photos from his Instagram profile which greatly helped us navigate our style planning and the outcome was even better than I expected.
