This was the first time I have tried Los Cabos and I was happy with it. The service was wonderful, the ambiance very casual, and the food was good. I had the Mixed Fajitas Superior, single. The meat had terrific flavor. I'll definitely go back! read more

Food was ok , but portions were very small for the cost compared to other Mexican restaurants. Server was very nice.!!!. Looked clean but too expensive for what you get. read more

We watched our server stand by the kitchen and talk to co workers for 10 minutes before greeting us. When our food came out it felt like it was thrown at us. We had a refill brought to the table and it was set on the edge of the table and fell off the side of the table. It took me getting in the floor and trying to clean it up before someone came to handle the mess. We will not be back. read more

Food and drinks were good. Service was good. Booths have high backs giving much privacy.

The food is always delicious, and they always get it right. Service is almost always great.

The food here is the best, most authentic, Mexican food in Cullman. I used to work at American Proteins with many Mexican co-workers and Los Cabos is where we would always meet up to eat. My Mexican friends told me it was definitely the most authentic! It looks kind of run-down from the outside but the inside is warm and cozy. They have the best frozen lime-margaritas I've ever tried. The staff is super friendly! read more

3 stars because they will NEVER answer their phone so you can place pick up orders!!! Once you get the food, it's great. 4th star because they have the BEST salsa in Cullman. Hands down! I go here on game day and order salsa only. It is actually faster to go to the restaurant, order your food at the table, ask for a to go box. Box it up and bounce! Food is really good. It's worth the wait. But, come on guys ANSWER YOUR PHONES! read more

We have been in Cullman for a couple of months and decided to finally check this place out. First thing I noticed was the bar wasn't open which is where we usually sit. They did sit us in the bar area and it was tiny but cozy. The second thing I noticed was the chair's seat was old and cracked. Once we sat down I started looking around and the place is filthy. Boxes everywhere, fridges disgusting and that's the ones we can see. I had the guacamole bowl special. It was decent I guess. Wife ordered a deconstructed burrito which we had to explain what it was but he finally got it. Wife's burrito was pretty good and the margaritas were tasty. Overall it was ok but the cleanliness was really a turn off. Probably won't be back but I won't say never. Maybe it's just the pandemic that is making the standards go down. There are better choices in Cullman. read more

Ordered a "top shelf" margarita, it had mold floating in it. My replacement margarita, had more mold floating in it. Then my bill came and they tried to say I had to pay for it due to the "sign stating no refund on alcohol." The waiter we had, horrible attitude. Everything seemed to irritate him. EVERYTHING. When discussing our ticket with the manager, they were all speaking Spanish and then started dying laughing. Disgusting restaurant. I left the restaurant and went to the gas station to use the restroom since the restaurant's bathrooms were so filthy. Would leave a negative star review if possible. read more

Your food was pretty good. Greens were fresh, dishes looked appealing and taste was good. Loved the cheese spinach dip. I got the beef burrito and it was very tasty. No complaints. My complaint is a cleanliness issue. You really need to clean the food off the walls and consider freshing up the paint where people sit. Also, and this is a biggie for me, your men's restroom is just nasty. The look of filth is everywhere. Take some pride in your business and clean up. Deep clean. It only makes people wonder if the kitchen is filthy also. PEOPLE CARE ABOUT CLEANLINESS. read more

One of my most favorite places to eat in Cullman! Their food is excellent, and they are always fast and friendly. The prices are reasonable. I highly recommend them. I love how it is decorated too, it is so colorful and fun there. We always enjoy going there to eat. Great for the whole family. read more

First time here whither some friends. I'm Hispanic and grew up with Mexican food. I usually avoid going to a Mexican restaurant but friends were going. I was impressed with the flavour best burrito I've ever had. It was the Mister Burrito. My wife also enjoyed it and she is very picky. Service was also very good. read more

Was in Cullman for work & have driven by this place a couple times & decided today was the day to try it. Initial service was lightning fast but then I asked for a minute to look over the menu & it took the server quite a while to come back. Food came out relatively quickly but then again didn't see the server for a long time even though I was waiting & looking around because I only had half my meal & was ready to box it up & get back out on the road. The food was pretty good, average Mexican faire, and the salsa flavorful with just a tiny bit of heat (could use a little more). The lunch special for $6 is a steal & I would come back for that, & just hope for a little quicker service. Ironic since the meal I ordered was the Speedy Gonzales! read more

bad service, the waiter literally throw the straw at us , took our order in a bad way. never cane to our table to ask if everything was ok. when we was about to leave we ask for a togo box he literally told us to grab it our self. do better next time dude. read more

I have been to a lot Mexican restaurants and this one is by far the worst. The only thing good was the tea. The tacos came with meat and cheese only no lettuce at all. The enchiladas were tasteless and the refried beans were like refried soup. OH and they served me with a chipped plate read more

Ever since falling in love with Buenavista my husband won't consider any other place for Mexican food in Cullman. So while I was nearby for work I decided to come try Los Cabos solo. My curiosity stemmed from it's ever crowded parking lot no matter what time you drive by. It always appears to be the most popular Mexican restaurant in Cullman. I was here for a late lunch and the parking lot was still crowded but thankfully they have a large dining area. The atmosphere is lovely with a very artsy, bright, and colorful feel. The menu has a lot of variety which I always find impressive. I stuck with the lunch menu since I wasn't really hungry enough to pay more for a big entrée. I ordered the Lunch Burrito Deluxe which comes with 2 chicken and bean burritos topped with red sauce and cheese then served with lettuce, cabbage, and sour cream as a garnish. The portion was quite large for the $5.75 price tag. The overall flavor was slightly better than your typical Mexican restaurant but not quite as flavorful as something more authentic. Their salsa was a little bland for my taste so I asked if they had a spicier salsa. My waiter brought a spicy sauce that was clearly made of chilies and had large chunks of onion, cilantro, and garlic. While the sauce was not what you'd want to just dip and eat like salsa it was delicious on my burritos. I mixed it into my salsa and it added a great heat level. I was very pleased with my meal here and can now understand why it's always crowded. I can't judge whether it's better or not quite as good as Buenavista from one visit but I think it's wonderful that Cullman has two great options for Mexican food. Please please choose one of these over Casa Fiesta! read more

This is a really good Mexican place in Cullman. Now it's not the greatest ever but a very solid choice. The fajitas are the best to me. The cheese dip is amazing!!!! I would not say this a bad place or worse than 3 stars. This a is a very good 4 star Mexican restaurant. read more

Seated, drink, queso, chips & salsa all immediate. Place is a bit dingy (over the top Myrtle Beach style decor is dated, dusty and makes it feel closed in), lightbulbs out and bathroom is dirty. Chips & salsa is fine / average, same with queso. Ordered ground beef burrito, shredded chicken enchilada and hard ground beef taco. Lettuce for the taco should have been chopped a lot more, no pieces were small enough for the taco. Average taco. Burrito and enchilada were fine. Slight after taste from chips, possibly need to change cooking oil. Rice was cooked fine, as were the refried beans. All in all this is an average formulaic Mexican restaurant. In the area it is one of around 7 within 10 miles. This one and the others had 4 star ratings. There clearly is a market for standout Mexican food in this somewhat confined market north of Birmingham, ripe for a standout to do very well! This one doesn't achieve par. read more

I've been to this place a good amount of times whenever I am in town to see my family. My sister and I took a trip to it last week. The food is always pretty good. It is fresh and what you typically expect of Tex-Mex restaurants. I love how they actually have a lot of vegetarian options that can be easily accommodated for vegans. The prices are also a great steal! The customer service is always pretty fast for me, but I have definitely had instances where it could he improved, but overall I highly recommend this place as the waiters are always really friendly. I can easily say I've never had a negative waiter even though I've come here many times! read more

Food is normally good, but don't go as much because of horrible service. I understand covid and being understaffed but being rude to customers who aren't the problem is uncalled for. read more

Oh, how we love Los Cabos! Even though Cullman has a lot of Mexican restaurants, most of them lack something to be desired. At Casa Fiesta I get sick and find fingernails in my food, Buenavista is too pricey, etc. this place is affordable, cozy, and incredibly tasty! It's my number one go-to for Mexican in our city. read more

Love the food. Our family goes at least ones a month here to eat. Everything is amazing

Service was not good, forgot part of our order, chips was stale and food was not good! Will not be going back!

Terrible service. Ask for tequila and this Mexican restaurant apparently didn't have it. No tequila at a Mexican restaurant, that's only the beginning. Waited for over 15 minutes for my first refreshment. It's still not here. .. Please don't waste your time and money by eating here. I've had better Mexican food at taco bell. read more

I have eaten here one time. I ordered the lunch special that includes the taco, quesadilla, rice, and salad. I also got cheese dip. The cheese dip was really good. The taco was also good. My quesadilla was a little greasy/watery though and they use regular shredded cheese which is disappointing. Overall though, great service and decent food. I may go back some day. read more

Food wise this place should get a three. Its really a hit and miss kind of place. BUT my now husband took me on our first BLIND date here almost seven years ago. (don't judge.. we are from a small town) I love their cheese dip but I haven't been here since the town went wet less than a year ago so I can't judge their selection or grade of drinks. read more

Beautiful presentation, fresh, authentic ingredients. Great staff and nice atmosphere. You will not leave hungry and the prices are great!

Great place to eat. Very nice atmosphere. Very reasonable.I love their fajitas and taco salad.and the staff are wonderful

We have eaten here 2 times. We ate here at lunch time. I had the fajitas both times and they are awesome. The portions we large so we took home the rest for another meal. The prices were great too. Fast service both times. Very attentive and nice. We will eat here again definitely. read more

I was hesitant to try this restaurant because of the bad reviews. But I am so glad I gave it a try. We started off with cheese dip that was very tasty. My husband and I both got the mixed lunch fajitas. We both enjoyed them. I was please with the portion of guacamole and sour cream that was on the fajita plate. My two boys got the kids steak quesadilla and they enjoyed them as well. They have fun bright Mexican decor. The reason for four starts is because the restaurant seemed kind of dirty. Our table and the floors were clean but the walls seemed dingy, a good cleaning and some paint in the nooks and crannies would help this place a lot. None the less I will go back! read more

I actually tried this restaurant by accident! I thought this was the Mexican restaurant that I ate at a few months back but anyways I ordered the nachos mexicanos and man I tell you it was awesome! Added them to my favorites will definitely be back! read more

Food is pretty good, but there are better options in the area. Reason for 2 stars?? Service! It's terrible. Slow slow slow! And we constantly had to ask for the same thing until she would finally bring it out (extra chips, lemon for waters, my margarita, etc.) and my husband just gave up on expecting to receive more sweet tea. read more
