Ordered a "top shelf" margarita, it had mold floating in it. My replacement margarita, had more mold floating in it. Then my bill came and they tried to say I had to pay for it due to the "sign stating no refund on alcohol." The waiter we had, horrible attitude. Everything seemed to irritate him. EVERYTHING. When discussing our ticket with the manager, they were all speaking Spanish and then started dying laughing. Disgusting restaurant. Your food was pretty good. Greens were fresh, dishes looked appealing and taste was good. Loved the cheese spinach dip. I got the beef burrito and it was very tasty. No complaints. My complaint is a cleanliness issue. You really need to clean the food off the walls and consider freshing up the paint where people sit. Also, and this is a biggie for me, your men's restroom is just nasty. The look of filth is everywhere. Take some pride in your business and clean up. Deep clean. We have been in Cullman for a couple of months and decided to finally check this place out. First thing I noticed was the bar wasn't open which is where we usually sit. They did sit us in the bar area and it was tiny but cozy. The second thing I noticed was the chair's seat was old and cracked. Once we sat down I started looking around and the place is filthy. Boxes everywhere, fridges disgusting and that's the ones we can see. I had the guacamole bowl special. It was decent I guess. Wife ordered a deconstructed burrito which we had to explain what it was but he finally got it. Wife's burrito was pretty good and the margaritas were tasty. Overall it was ok but the cleanliness was really a turn off. Probably won't be back but I won't say never. Maybe it's just the pandemic that is making the standards go down. Was in Cullman for work & have driven by this place a couple times & decided today was the day to try it. Initial service was lightning fast but then I asked for a minute to look over the menu & it took the server quite a while to come back. Food came out relatively quickly but then again didn't see the server for a long time even though I was waiting & looking around because I only had half my meal & was ready to box it up & get back out on the road. The food was pretty good, average Mexican faire, and the salsa flavorful with just a tiny bit of heat (could use a little more). Ever since falling in love with Buenavista my husband won't consider any other place for Mexican food in Cullman. So while I was nearby for work I decided to come try Los Cabos solo. My curiosity stemmed from it's ever crowded parking lot no matter what time you drive by. It always appears to be the most popular Mexican restaurant in Cullman. I was here for a late lunch and the parking lot was still crowded but thankfully they have a large dining area. The atmosphere is lovely with a very artsy, bright, and colorful feel. The menu has a lot of variety which I always find impressive. I stuck with the lunch menu since I wasn't really hungry enough to pay more for a big entrée. I ordered the Lunch Burrito Deluxe which comes with 2 chicken and bean burritos topped with red sauce and cheese then served with lettuce, cabbage, and sour cream as a garnish. The portion was quite large for the $5.75 price tag. The overall flavor was slightly better than your typical Mexican restaurant but not quite as flavorful as something more authentic. Their salsa was a little bland for my taste so I asked if they had a spicier salsa. My waiter brought a spicy sauce that was clearly made of chilies and had large chunks of onion, cilantro, and garlic. While the sauce was not what you'd want to just dip and eat like salsa it was delicious on my burritos. I mixed it into my salsa and it added a great heat level. I was very pleased with my meal here and can now understand why it's always crowded. I can't judge whether it's better or not quite as good as Buenavista from one visit but I think it's wonderful that Cullman has two great options for Mexican food. Please please choose one of these over Casa Fiesta! read more

I've been to this place a good amount of times whenever I am in town to see my family. My sister and I took a trip to it last week. The food is always pretty good. It is fresh and what you typically expect of Tex-Mex restaurants. I love how they actually have a lot of vegetarian options that can be easily accommodated for vegans. The prices are also a great steal! The customer service is always pretty fast for me, but I have definitely had instances where it could he improved, but overall I highly recommend this place as the waiters are always really friendly. Lettuce for the taco should have been chopped a lot more, no pieces were small enough for the taco. Average taco. Burrito and enchilada were fine. Slight after taste from chips, possibly need to change cooking oil. Rice was cooked fine, as were the refried beans. All in all this is an average formulaic Mexican restaurant. In the area it is one of around 7 within 10 miles. This one and the others had 4 star ratings. I have eaten here one time. I ordered the lunch special that includes the taco, quesadilla, rice, and salad. I also got cheese dip. The cheese dip was really good. The taco was also good. I was hesitant to try this restaurant because of the bad reviews. But I am so glad I gave it a try. We started off with cheese dip that was very tasty. My husband and I both got the mixed lunch fajitas. We both enjoyed them. I was please with the portion of guacamole and sour cream that was on the fajita plate. My two boys got the kids steak quesadilla and they enjoyed them as well. They have fun bright Mexican decor. The reason for four starts is because the restaurant seemed kind of dirty. Our table and the floors were clean but the walls seemed dingy, a good cleaning and some paint in the nooks and crannies would help this place a lot. None the less I will go back! read more
