These barbers heads have gotten too big. I was a loyal customer for 5 years but I got tired of the terrible customer service, over priced cuts, long waits in the shop when I had appointments scheduled. They like to charge people (full price) for a no show but never apologize when they make you wait 45+ minutes. My time is just as valuable as yours. read more

Super disappointed after all the reviews and research. informed Jose what I wanted for a beard trim and he completely did his own thing. One side of my beard goes down correctly while the other is edged up at 45 degrees inward. Making it look totally ridiculous. Didn't notice the other side since I was looking at the left side. I told him I was growing out my beard and I strongly believe he's not versed in larger beard maintenance. If your beard is short and your edging it to your jaw line I'm guessing he can do that but other then that I'd avoid Jose. What I still cant understand is how in even the right side is from the left Thank you for the follow up, could you recommend a barber at your location who is able to cut long beards? read more

So I came this morning to TRY n get in for a haircut but was unsuccessful BUT walked in, nice setup super clean n LOTS of barbers 9 chairs. Waited for a few for sumone to acknowledge that I was there n then came this guy n greeted me, I told him I was trying to get in for a haircut but had no appointment then from across the room another guy says "we r booked today, all the guys r booked" ok no problem but what made me want to come back was this guy....told me the best days to come in as a walk-in n then gave me info on how to make an appointment. So I get out to my car n get one....today at 1:00 with this great guy. Now I don't no how important it is to u to feel like ur not getting brushed off but it was enuf to have me WANT him to cut my hair! So I am a Chef by trade, I went home made a quick batch of brownies n brought sum of those back with me to give to this barber who happened to make me feel acknowledged. So I am done with my haircut n I thnk he did a great job for it being our first time doin this haircut thing. Thnk next time he will have a better idea of what I want but overall great job! ******UPDATE***** second appointment today 1-05-18 needed a haircut PRETTY bad n of course I received the BEST service from Yamil, my barber I don't no if u can remember that uncomfortable feeling when u were the NEW kid in skool n walking into the classrooom that's EXACTLY how I felt on the day I walked into this place but Yamil made me feel like a potential client. Time for another update! Been going here for four years now, never had a bad haircut. Still going to Drew, and for the first time I had forgotten about an appointment I had right before a vacation! Drew has no issues with my forgetfulness, and the next time I saw him he insisted I stop apologizing still getting great cuts, enjoying conversations had amongst the barbers, and just an amazing atmosphere all around. I frequented the shop every two weeks for about a year, the barbers from what I saw are really good at their craft. If you have the time or can wait for them to get you an appointment using the Booksy app then I would say go for it. The barbers are good but it is difficult to just walk in and get a haircut so an appointment is strongly recommended. I stopped going because on two different occasions I booked for a haircut and shave and it was confirmed. Once on the chair I reiterated what it is I wanted (haircut & shave), and the barber right away starts saying " aww man, I don't know if I'm going to have time for a shave, I don't know man, I don't know" so I just said, "ok". This happened twice, I understand people have lives and that's fine but the professional thing to do is get another barber to help out and finish the job. Similarly to a barber setting a time aside for an appointment, customers also set aside a time to get a haircut and work it around our schedules. Long story short, I was really lost with what to do with my hair and the barber that I had (keyword) I I didn't feel too confident cutting my hair or guiding me growing my hair out. Yamil was very knowledgeable and patient trying to get to understand what I wanted and made some really good recommendations that I took. Really good work with the clippers and he also has good scissor skills, which is rare to find in most San Antonio barbers for some reason. Definitely going to be booking with Yamil going forward. The barber shop itself was actually really nice in comparison to other shops here in SA as well. Went to Los Barberos for the first time on Saturday and was thoroughly impressed! Adam gave me the best HC of my life. His attention to detail, and patience was very impressive. I've never had a Barber take that much time to ensure a perfect cut was given. You can tell he really cares about his clients/craft. Also, the atmosphere was great. Hands down the cleanest and most professional spot on the north side. It's a perfect location, close to a bunch of shopping and restaurants. Jose always does an exceptional job and makes sure the experience is enjoyable. They have complimentary drinks and plenty of screens for watching big games/ movies. The haircut prices are great, considering all the extras (hot towel shave, line-up, etc...). Try to make an appointment because I waited for an hr trying to fit in these pros' schedule as I'm sure they're high in demand. I happen to get Adam and was more than impressed with the result, and customer service and was well worth the wait. He's got a calm demeanor and is professional. He is able to do sculpt the look you want but better. I got a skin fade and I could not count how many times he was going through those clips because he was so meticulous and precise with his fades. I'm extremely impressed and got several compliments the day after. He took his time to ensure you only get his best work. Also, I don't have much facial hair so I keep it as a patchy stubble, and Adam also put just as much effort on my facial trim and razor shave, hot towel and all. The man has skills! Been working out here in South Texas for a couple of weeks. Staying in Pearsall. No barbershops around. I cut my hair once a week so you can imagine how long my hair was. I yelped a barbershop in San Antone and found several. After reading the reviews, i went for Los Barberos. Drove out there yesterday. When i walked in, Edwin, the owner, stated they only do appointments on the weekends. I must of had a very dissapointed look on my face because he told me to have a seat, someone would squeeze me in. What a relief. After waiting about a half an hour, i was called to the chair. Adam faded me up. The cut was great! I even asked for a hair wash since i was going to be in San Antone all day. I got hooked up. Paid $20 bucks for the service, $10 tip. Well deserved. I will definitely be making my appointment for next week. read more
