Los Barberos Barbershop - The Best in Town! I've been getting my hair cut by Roger since I was fresh out of high school, so when he started cutting at Los Barberos, I was excited for him. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the owner, Edwin, and immediately felt at home. This shop isn't just about haircuts--it's a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy great company. The barbers are all friendly, welcoming, and take the time to get to know you. I have a recurring appointment every Thursday, and I highly recommend booking one as well. And if you're a beer drinker, just ask--they'll hook you up with a cold one on the house. If you're looking for quality cuts and a great atmosphere, Los Barberos is the place to be! Highly recommend! read more

I'm not from this area so I got really lucky finding this barber shop. I walked in on a busy Saturday morning. Every station in the shop was being worked and the shop was packed. The owner, Edwin, took me within 3 minutes of walking into the shop. He was in between appointments and instead of disregarding me, pushed to get my haircut done and give me service. That made a huge impression on me. Awesome place being ran by great people. The haircut was perfect and I never felt like an inconvenience. read more

Went in for the first time today ; Chris was amazing I highly recommend , fair pricing and all out cool dude ; highly recommend seeing him

I've been getting my haircut from Rene for years and he never disappoints. He's great at what he does, always professional, and super patient with my kids when I bring them in. Los Barberos is a really cool shop too--clean, welcoming, and a great vibe overall. Highly recommend Rene if you're looking for a solid barber. read more

These barbers heads have gotten too big. I was a loyal customer for 5 years but I got tired of the terrible customer service, over priced cuts, long waits in the shop when I had appointments scheduled. They like to charge people (full price) for a no show but never apologize when they make you wait 45+ minutes. My time is just as valuable as yours. read more

Was referred to this place by a friend and have been coming back ever since. Give these guys a try and you will do the same... My dude is Drew O'Neal and he just hooked me up with another fresh cut. You can find him on the Booksy app and even make an appointment there. Highly recommend this place; chill atmosphere and skilled certified, professional barbers. Thanks again Drew, for another awesome cut! read more

Outstanding barbershop. Great environment. I had my hair cut by Yamil. I explained what I wanted. It turned out better than I could have imagined. I went in looking untidy and a mess and came out slick and refreshed. If you are looking for a barbershop with actual barbers who know what they are doing the this is the place for you. read more

Vulgar and more vulgar sex talk in front of kids while I was getting my hair cut last week. C'mon dudes, just keep it down. No need to talk/yell about women's parts across the aisle. There was a 5 year old boy within of earshot of the vulgarities. Hair cut is great though! read more

Super disappointed after all the reviews and research. informed Jose what I wanted for a beard trim and he completely did his own thing. One side of my beard goes down correctly while the other is edged up at 45 degrees inward. Making it look totally ridiculous. Didn't notice the other side since I was looking at the left side. I told him I was growing out my beard and I strongly believe he's not versed in larger beard maintenance. If your beard is short and your edging it to your jaw line I'm guessing he can do that but other then that I'd avoid Jose. What I still cant understand is how in even the right side is from the left Thank you for the follow up, could you recommend a barber at your location who is able to cut long beards? read more

So I came this morning to TRY n get in for a haircut but was unsuccessful BUT walked in, nice setup super clean n LOTS of barbers 9 chairs. Waited for a few for sumone to acknowledge that I was there n then came this guy n greeted me, I told him I was trying to get in for a haircut but had no appointment then from across the room another guy says "we r booked today, all the guys r booked" ok no problem but what made me want to come back was this guy....told me the best days to come in as a walk-in n then gave me info on how to make an appointment. So I get out to my car n get one....today at 1:00 with this great guy. Now I don't no how important it is to u to feel like ur not getting brushed off but it was enuf to have me WANT him to cut my hair! So I am a Chef by trade, I went home made a quick batch of brownies n brought sum of those back with me to give to this barber who happened to make me feel acknowledged. So I am done with my haircut n I thnk he did a great job for it being our first time doin this haircut thing. Thnk next time he will have a better idea of what I want but overall great job! ******UPDATE***** second appointment today 1-05-18 needed a haircut PRETTY bad n of course I received the BEST service from Yamil, my barber I don't no if u can remember that uncomfortable feeling when u were the NEW kid in skool n walking into the classrooom that's EXACTLY how I felt on the day I walked into this place but Yamil made me feel like a potential client. So today, he did an amazing job once again. Guy came in n was looking to get a haircut NO APPT. but Yamil shouted out to c if anyone cud fit him in so no availability with anyone. Discouraged the man headed for the door but Yamil said if he didn't mind wait go he cud take care of hime aftr me. So he said thanks so much n sat but this is the KICKER....MY haircut wasn't rushed, I didn't feel like he was in a hurry, he took his time, he fixed areas that I wanted with no problem or hesitation.....NOW if this isn't enuf to get u to try this guy then I don't no what to tell u. He is a great barber. If u decided to go n get a great haircut plz tell him Vanessa sent u cuz he is amazing n humble n attentive. Yamil thanks again for a great haircut! read more

Time for another update! Been going here for four years now, never had a bad haircut. Still going to Drew, and for the first time I had forgotten about an appointment I had right before a vacation! Drew has no issues with my forgetfulness, and the next time I saw him he insisted I stop apologizing still getting great cuts, enjoying conversations had amongst the barbers, and just an amazing atmosphere all around. Spread the word about this place because this is the kind of small businesses we should all be supporting. Oh and one last thing... TIP. YOUR. BARBER!!! The dude is spending a long time working on making YOU look good, give him a little something extra for his hard work. read more

This is the perfect barbershop! Classic Gentleman's Barbershop that I'm glad I found. I went in during a busy holiday season not even expecting to get a cut, but @barberhoesayy saved the day and fit me in. I will be back for sure! Good vibes. Clean. Thanks. read more

I frequented the shop every two weeks for about a year, the barbers from what I saw are really good at their craft. If you have the time or can wait for them to get you an appointment using the Booksy app then I would say go for it. The barbers are good but it is difficult to just walk in and get a haircut so an appointment is strongly recommended. I stopped going because on two different occasions I booked for a haircut and shave and it was confirmed. Once on the chair I reiterated what it is I wanted (haircut & shave), and the barber right away starts saying " aww man, I don't know if I'm going to have time for a shave, I don't know man, I don't know" so I just said, "ok". This happened twice, I understand people have lives and that's fine but the professional thing to do is get another barber to help out and finish the job. Similarly to a barber setting a time aside for an appointment, customers also set aside a time to get a haircut and work it around our schedules. I ended up going to another barbershop the following day. read more

Long story short, I was really lost with what to do with my hair and the barber that I had (keyword) I I didn't feel too confident cutting my hair or guiding me growing my hair out. Yamil was very knowledgeable and patient trying to get to understand what I wanted and made some really good recommendations that I took. Really good work with the clippers and he also has good scissor skills, which is rare to find in most San Antonio barbers for some reason. Definitely going to be booking with Yamil going forward. The barber shop itself was actually really nice in comparison to other shops here in SA as well. If you're into this it looks like they offer a hot towel service and they appear to have a bar inside. read more

Went to Los Barberos for the first time on Saturday and was thoroughly impressed! Adam gave me the best HC of my life. His attention to detail, and patience was very impressive. I've never had a Barber take that much time to ensure a perfect cut was given. You can tell he really cares about his clients/craft. Also, the atmosphere was great. Everyone was super nice, and laid back. I HIGHLY recommend this place for your beard/hair care needs. read more

Hands down the cleanest and most professional spot on the north side. It's a perfect location, close to a bunch of shopping and restaurants. Jose always does an exceptional job and makes sure the experience is enjoyable. They have complimentary drinks and plenty of screens for watching big games/ movies. The haircut prices are great, considering all the extras (hot towel shave, line-up, etc...). I recommend setting this place as the permanent spot for your routine cut. 5 stars, two thumbs up, you get the point. Best spot in SA. read more

Giving it a 4Star but just know I've always loved this place and how it's set up, but got damn it; if I'm in there asking for a f#%king razor fade, I expect a hot towel and a razor to my head not "trimmed down to the skin" because "it's the same Sh!t" it relaxes me and I enjoy having a great hair cut done and how it feels when you take your time and actually trim the bread or eye brows like I wanted.. Shake my head ‍ if you have an appointment don't take me on!!!!!!!!! but on other hand, I've had great times and hair cuts before, razor fades start at $25 -Add) thank your for the response sir; much appreciated. However I just want to start off with, I never had a concern about pricing thank you; I did ask, yes your right (as a matter of fact, I even ask while getting serviced, if the prices had when down a bit? At witch your employee had responded NO*) My Main concern was timing, I asked correctly if there would be anybody available with a response from you (no problem, I'll ask one of the gentleman's in the back if available), and they were so I appreciate the fast take in I liked to add!** I did mention at several points of interaction with you and your employee that I wanted a Razor* fade!!! During the process I Even mentioned to your employee how much I loved the process of how your company does razor fades ( I had never had a problem with the pricing in the past) and asked if it is done at the end of HIS* process, at witch your employee responded to me, YES*!! read more

I will never regret the day we were recommended to Edwin. We looked for so long for a barber that could take very good care of my son hair (since I'am very picky with his style). Well we found our forever barber, Edwin! He is very professional, gives great service and never fails to perfect my sons and my husbands cuts. From the perfect blend of the fades, to the razor edging and to the hot towel. Los Barberos is the place to go for your fades! Thank you Edwin for always working around our schedule and taking care of us even during your busy schedules! I will continue to drive 45 minutes every 2 weeks for our appointment! read more

I have a unique hair texture, so i'm very particular bout who cuts my hair. After coming in and trying out three different guys, all I know is these dudes can cut some hair. I've gotten cuts from chris joshua and jose and all of them did a great job so I feel pretty confident that anyone in the shop would. Definitely recommend for anyone in SA read more

Satisfied! Los Barberos barbershop takes appointments! a rarity with barbers. I walked in at my appointment time and was instantly pulled onto a chair. I gave Adam Ramos a little background on what I wanted and let him take care of the rest. I'm glad I did. It seems like every barber here takes true attention to detail. I have never had so many different clippers to get the perfect skin-close fade. This shows true quality. Nobody felt rushed and the barber even offered to let them know if there's anymore touch-ups I needed. Straight-razors, hot towels, beard clean-up, and free drinks/beer IF you wait. read more

I came here based on the good reviews, and it delivered. I was actually a walk in. Try to make an appointment because I waited for an hr trying to fit in these pros' schedule as I'm sure they're high in demand. I happen to get Adam and was more than impressed with the result, and customer service and was well worth the wait. He's got a calm demeanor and is professional. He is able to do sculpt the look you want but better. I got a skin fade and I could not count how many times he was going through those clips because he was so meticulous and precise with his fades. I'm extremely impressed and got several compliments the day after. He took his time to ensure you only get his best work. Also, I don't have much facial hair so I keep it as a patchy stubble, and Adam also put just as much effort on my facial trim and razor shave, hot towel and all. The man has skills! I'm definitely hooked and will book my next appointment with Adam. I highly suggest you do the same. read more

I hadn't cut my hair in about a month, I just moved to San Antonio, and I researched place to get it cut. I came across Los Barberos, I was able to get an appointment right away, just in time to get back to work the next day. The owner Edwin was nothing but professional, as well as the rest of the Barbers. Clean place, great atmosphere, and these dudes are generally excited to be cutting hair and care about there clients. There was a little confusion about my appt time, but not somthing to cry about. I got my hair cut by Adam Ramos, this dude knows his way around some clippers and strait razor. He hooked it up, and gave me the cleanest hair cut I have ever had. This was my first time here, and will guarantee you it will not be my last. Make sure you check these guys out. Don't be confused by other imitators out there that call themselves "barbers", they are not. But these guys are. !!! read more

Absolutely poor customer service. Refused to take us in with 45mins left before closing. One stylist said yes they would take us then the next guy says no Friday and Saturday is appointment only. Been working out here in South Texas for a couple of weeks. Staying in Pearsall. No barbershops around. I cut my hair once a week so you can imagine how long my hair was. I yelped a barbershop in San Antone and found several. After reading the reviews, i went for Los Barberos. Drove out there yesterday. When i walked in, Edwin, the owner, stated they only do appointments on the weekends. I must of had a very dissapointed look on my face because he told me to have a seat, someone would squeeze me in. What a relief. After waiting about a half an hour, i was called to the chair. Adam faded me up. The cut was great! I even asked for a hair wash since i was going to be in San Antone all day. I got hooked up. Paid $20 bucks for the service, $10 tip. Well deserved. I will definitely be making my appointment for next week. read more

Went there to get a shave and a beard trim..Was not disappointed. I walked in and the place is nicely put together and has a welcoming atmosphere! I went at 4:00pm and thought I would be waiting forever, I got a chair right away!! Shave and trim were top notch!! My barber, Yamil knew what he was doing with that straight razor! This man hooked me up with a clean head shave and an even fresher beard trim!!! All the barbers were welcoming and the conversations weren't forced! After much research on Yelp, I came across Los Barberos and was pleased to read such a good reviews so we decided to give it a shot.
