I called and Justincredible (Justin) answered the phone. He told me he had a spot open and since they were close I headed over. Even though they were a little busy I got seated right away and Justincredible helped me figure out exactly what I wanted even tho i wasn't sure about how to describe it. tbh I feel like he gave me an 80 dollar haircut for half the price. When i walked in, the atmosphere was fun and the vibe was chill. Everyone else there was extremely friendly, energetic, welcoming, and professional. Several other barbers went out of their way to acknowledge me and say Hi. The banter among the staff made me feel like i was hanging out with my own friends. That being said there is a barber there named Chris who also does really good haircuts but she apparently does not honor wagers amongst her co-workers. Bring that man his bottle you know you lost that bet, quit playin.. lol. but in all seriousness this was a fantastic experience at a reasonable price with stunning results. We have tried a few of shops closer to home, but it was always disappointing...especially when you compare it to Ricky's skills. Since we are going across town, I always text him and set up a time before we go. But I know the shop takes walk-ins as well. I just don't like to gamble like that. He has done a great job EVERY SINGLE TIME and doesn't take forever. He takes his time enough to do it right, but not the outrageous times like I have seen and heard of at other shops. For both boys to get their cuts, fades, edge-ups, and usually including some sort of design for at least one of them we are usually there for about an hour. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

He recommended Areedo. I've been going here for almost four years now. The owner is kind, courteous and professional. He takes time. Fantastic scissor cut. Faded, styled beards. I finally find the place and I'm only 2-3 minutes late at this point, but the shop isn't even open yet. 15 minutes after my appointment I ended up leaving. Now a few things - it turns out the barber did text me, but let this be something for consideration for all barbers: text spam is a thing and iPhones have a way to filter out texts that come from people you don't know. I didn't get said text until over an hour past the appointment time. At a minimum you should call, not text, for this reason. Secondly, if you're not going to answer your phone at least have a professional voice mail. Personal branding is not just about the pictures you upload to social media sites showing off your work. It's also about how you present yourself in person and over the phone. This was a poor over-the-phone experience and as a first-time experience with this barbershop, a poor in-person experience.
