No te vas a arrepentir. Gracias.

I have ordered a…read morenumber of things from their menu and liked it enough to go visit the food truck itself parked at what's left of the bulldozed Specs - Half Priced Books on Westheimer and Montrose. The guy that took my order was very friendly. The food itself is consistent in its flavouring. The batter for the fish is a bit salty but the the fish itself is not seasoned which was fine. The corn tortillas they use was very fresh. I wonder which tortilleria they procure them from. They have a lot of items for the vegetarian including fried mushrooms and zucchinis that can be put in a taco. They share a similar tasted to the fish because of the batter. Their fries are fried in beef tallow so vegetarians beware. Right now I think the best deal you can get is the baja fish sandwich which is dressed the same way as their baja tacos with plenty of pico de gallo and crema with a huge hunk of fish and cheese. It comes with fries too. There are a number of tables nearby that you can stand and eat at although you probably would only want to do this at night or when the weather is not blazing hot.

I am a native New orleanian and very picky and I have to say this is better than some of the food I have had in New Orleans lately. I couldn't decide so I ordered the red beans and rice and the Cajun fried rice. They were both amazing and super generous serving sizes, particularly on the fried rice, be prepared to share or have a couple of meals. I will definitely be back and hope the best for this Rising Star. The Google Map doesn't work so well, so be sure and put in the Fairfield Marriott Hotel which is right on the service road and this great little food truck sits in the parking lot.
