Los Arrieros in Georgetown has delicious and flavorful Mexican food that is well prepared. I really like the level of customer service that they have available here and how well they take care of everyone. Very relaxed atmosphere here.

    Shrimp fajita

Best Mexican food! Incredible shrimp fajita with fresh shrimp. It's definitely authentic and the service is great. The owner plays Christian music and even though it's in Spanish you can feel the presence of God.

    Lengua (beef tongue) tacos

Honestly this place blows the competitors out of the water. While it may look like it's just a restaurant, it also has a mini store inside with ingredients for cooking and some sweets. I ordered the tongue tacos to go, asked if I could get them street styled, but was told I put condiments on myself. I can not emphasize enough how awesome it was to make a "me" taco with the great assortment of condiments and salsas. Food, hospitality, truly everything was just killer. If you're in Georgetown and want a Spanish spot, I seriously suggest coming here. Hands down I'll be back soon enough.

The salsa is BOMB. The margaritas were delicious. Their chicken torta was on point. There wasn't anything we didn't love. I would go back!

Thought the food was really great. We had the chimichangas and burrito. And was really impressed with the presentation and quality of food. Would totally recommend that they put what's inside chimichanga. Not a fan of finding out there are peppers and onions inside.

What a Great place to eat around Pawleys island…read more Service and food were top notch. They were pretty busy, but they got us in right away and we were a party of 5 with two kids. The place is lively, and has ac inside to keep you cool in the summer heat. They give you a nice basked of bread when you arrived and large drinks. I ordered the shrimp appetizer for dinner and it was so good. I didn't leave a single bite for leftover. My daughter got a burger and it was pretty big for kids size! It also came with fruit which was appreciated. My husband got the po boy and also enjoyed it. The server was very friendly, helpful, and took time talking to us. We will absolutely return the next time we are in town!

We started with a carafe of blood orange mimosas. The flavor was great! I would've liked a little bit more chilled but nothing a little ice couldn't take care of. I went with the grilled Romaine salad. What an awesome choice. The Romain was grilled to perfection and topped with a lot of crumbled blue cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, pistachios, bacon, and blueberries. The fried oysters we're served to the side of the salad and they were not too heavily battered and made a delicious compliment to this amazing salad. The warm Maple bacon vinaigrette was absolutely delicious. I will not be just passing by this pace anymore - it actually might become one of my regular stops!

The ambiance was beachy, but laidback and friendly for any occasion. The food was quite good, with the litchfield biscuit and the hoisin shrimp wrap being my favorites. The apple butter on the litchfield was the best my family has ever had (an easy thing for us to agree on). They also have a great array of beers, with some nice local options. I will say that my Kentucky Cowboy milkshake was booze forward, so just a heads up if that's not your preference. I definitely would have chosen the Sweet Swine in hindsight. Ellen was a real gem though, as we had two coincidental issues with our food (not her fault at all) and she handled it like a real pro. The staff is all professional, and these two visits cemented BisQit as our go-to whenever we take another trip to Pawley's Island.

I am now convinced that every burger should also have breakfast sausage ground into it. The bacon was perfectly cooked. The cheese was melty and the yolk on the egg was just runny enough. It was messy to eat but so incredibly delicious.

Notable mentions were the escargot & fried scallops. DEFINITELY request bread because it's so fluffy and good. I went for the grouper special which was honestly the most unimpressive thing at the table and relatively bland. We tried a variety of steak from the New York strip, the dry aged ribeye, and the filet. They were all fine, but nothing superb. The BEST entree at the table was the elk tenderloin. It basically melted in your mouth. The table tried 3 different old fashions and were impressed with all of them. The wine list is EXTENSIVE and I didn't feel as though our server really helped sift through it or make recommendations so we went with the first red we saw and it was decent. Now the desserts may have just been the star of the show. From the pistachio ice cream to the dark chocolate creme brûlée... I'd go back just to sit at the bar for a drink and dessert! Overall the entrees missed expectations but I enjoyed the apps & dessert!
