First of all, our apartment manager Beverly is simply amazing and very friendly! This apartment complex is a bit older, but the management has done a fantastic job of keeping the interior of the apartment units up to date! If you happen to find an available unit, you will most likely get the new floors, which I have seen and are nice. If you ever have an issue (for instance, my garbage disposal got stuck once), you put in a maintenance request, and they are on top of it! They will take care of you quickly! We recently got new washers and dryers in our laundry room, and they do have the capability for you to pay using a mobile app, which is super convenient [who carries quarters around?!]. Things to consider (this is an honest review!), this apartment complex is situated on a major street, so the traffic noise can be a bit much, but maybe you will be lucky and find a unit towards the back of the complex, and then it won't be such an issue! However, we are right next to Costco, so it's a short walk in case you need your Costco fix! No matter where you rent from, your rent is going to go up, so I won't comment too much on that, but I will say the rent increase has been reasonable each year. Safety has not been an issue around here. There are security cameras and this is a gated community, so I feel very safe here. You get one assigned parking spot in our gated carport area. If you have guests over, Costco parking lot is available (spaces closest to our apartment complex). Tenants seem to look out for each other and neighbors are friendly (and people are respectful and keep to themselves). Moving is a big deal, so do your research, and feel free to "shop around"....you will learn that this community offers reasonable rent rates [and really, rent in Orange/Los Angeles counties are ridiculous, but do your research]. If you are looking for a luxury experience with over the top amenities, this won't be your place [there is no gym, dishwashers in units, or a jacuzzi here], but overall I am so happy to live here! I have seen other reviews on here, and not sure about the negative reviews, but at least come for a tour, ask questions [Beverly is awesome at answering questions!], and check it out!

(WITH DOCUMENTATION) WORST PROPERTY EVERR…read more To start the new year fresh I am writing this to warn anyone that is thinking about renting here: Throughout my tenancy I've experienced things such as Kareen (the property manager) unplugging my security system during an emergency entry into my unit, and citing that the alarms were "not allowed" despite nothing on the lease stating that. I was also retaliated against and received a 30-day notice shortly after, and my deposit stolen after my move out (no damage), and Kareen went as far as to lie under oath after i filed a lawsuit to recover my deposit, saying false statements from a 60 day notice, as well as getting charged for keys for a keyless lock, she also went on to exaggerate that I "physically abused" my dad (co-signer at the time), over a slap on the wrist during an argument between us When I filed to recover my deposit, her supervisor, Jeffrey Alan Nath, stated my case would "get dismissed" in court. Plot Twist: it didn't, I won :))) moral of the story this goes to show the integrity - or lack thereof of management here.....

We also love how the complex is gated and we always felt very safe here. The new laundry machines are very easy to use and make laundry less of a hassle. Maria has been an absolutely wonderful landlord and we could not have asked for better management. I moved in back in November, and from the very beginning I was having issues with my mailbox not working. For nearly two months, I went back and forth with the office trying to get it resolved. I was repeatedly told they would "fix it," and each time nothing changed. After getting nowhere with management, I finally had to go directly to the post office myself to figure out what was going on. That's when it was discovered that the office had written the WRONG mailbox number on my lease agreement from the start. Even worse, after realizing their mistake, the leasing office never updated my paperwork or provided anything in writing with the correct mailbox number -- I was apparently just expected to remember the correct number verbally despite their original error. Instead of checking their own paperwork earlier, they kept making me deal with the issue and wasting my time for months over a problem they created themselves. On top of that, I'm now dealing with a carport that is covered in spider webs and black widows. When I brought up the safety concern and asked for it to be cleaned, management told me it was somehow my responsibility to clean the spider webs off property that they own and are supposed to maintain. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Overall, management has been disorganized, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility for problems they created. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before moving here.

The neighbors are really special. We've never lived in a community so friendly before. Some of our amazing neighbors even baked us chocolate chip cookies to welcome us . Melissa is amazing. She's the complex manager and she's very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and super friendly. Edwin is pretty awesome as well. He's the maintenance professional/groundskeeper. I only had a few interactions with him but each was friendly and professional. The corporate side seems good. We knew there was a good possibility we wouldn't be staying long (we moved in hoping to buy a house soon after) so we appreciated the option to break the lease. We ended up using this option when opportunities presented themselves for a new life on the east coast. I wish the fee would be refunded if the unit was quickly re-rented. I think the only real eek about the complex is something most communities with shared laundry units deal with: gross washers. People use the wrong detergent or too much, especially powder and waxy products, causing build-up that results in slimy water that persists for several washes. (At least I hope that's the cause lol.) Until the last week (or so) of our stay, notices saying the laundry units would be upgraded soon were up... no dates were listed though. It would be really nice if notices like this only went up when the work was scheduled. I wish the powers-that-be would consider installing in-unit ventless washer and dryer combo machines instead (ventless so modifications for venting wouldn't be necessary and combo instead of stacked because the space above the machine would be usable) -- having the units installed in each apartment would not only be an amazing convenience for renters, it would also limit the aftermath of improper use to those doing it. Our car was broken into while parked in our assigned carport space shortly after we moved in (no sign of forced entry so maybe we left it unlocked). It was tossed and several small items were stolen. To be clear, this is not the fault of the complex -- some people just suck. But what would have been really helpful is if CCTV/security cameras were setup at least in the carport areas and the entry points for the complex. Overall I would give this complex more than 5 stars if I could because of the friendly neighbors and staff we had the pleasure of meeting. Living in a community with so many beautiful people even for just a few months was a really nice experience.
