When people are on vacation, they like to turn up, so your need for sleep is irrelevant when you have to work the next morning. They do not fix anything and instead try to blame you when things break in your unit, even though they were poorly constructed, and then make you pay for repairs. All tenants complain about hot water and the water pressure and they will send a handyman instead of a plumber to fix the issue, but it's only fixed for a short period of time. Their response to repair requests is slow and inadequate. They send notices such as California Civil Code §1954 with a three-day notice and only an eight-hour window, which is not valid--realistically, these are 24-hour notices with a one-day window. When you realize the notice is invalid, they call the police to enter your unit. If that isn't unprofessional enough, they require your presence during repairs because they will lie, claiming your drain was full of hair due to negligence, even though it was clogged with black gunk, which I can prove because a handyman left water and debris all over my floor. Leasing office had the open sign up, but nobody opened the door when we rang the doorbell. Called the 833 area code number, said they weren't on site but the office should be open so they provided the 562 area code number. Called, but nobody answered. One suggestion is to put up a sign that says when you'll be back, like X minutes or X o'clock. We waited a little over 10 minutes, and left. It was really inconvenient having to drop by during business hours with nobody at the leasing office.

We have lived here since 2024 and were assigned a garage. After someone jumped the property gate and damaged our vehicle, we raised security concerns and were temporarily given the garage. Later, we were told that garage was needed for incoming residents and we had a new assigned carport. I explained I did not feel comfortable using an open space since there had been damaged to my car, the assistant told me she would share my feedback to the manager and the manager would get back to me but never then. Then came 2 days later then the controller for our assigned garage stopped working, and we discovered the code had been changed and our belongs had been thrown away or someone from maintenance named Andres kept them. The biggest issue was the lack of communication between management. Celina said she was not aware the garage belonged to us, while another staff member apparently believed it was vacant but if it were to be vacant why would they call us to let us know they needed it for incoming residents. Maintenance was instructed to clean it out, and some of our belongings were discarded because they were apparently mistaken for trash. We never authorized anyone to remove or dispose of our property. We were also never told to remove our belongings Trying to get the situation addressed has been extremely frustrating. The main office representatives have been disrespectful and unhelpful. We were given the supervisor Humberto's number and called approximately 20 times, leaving multiple voicemails, but never received a response. We repeatedly contacted Celina to let her know Humberto was not responding. We were told there was nothing she could do other than continue forwarding our emails to him, and that she was not the manager in charge. As residents, we expected management to know which garage was assigned to us, communicate with us before making changes, protect our belongings, and actually provide assistance when something goes wrong. I'm posting this so residents can make an informed decision. First of all, our apartment manager Beverly is simply amazing and very friendly! This apartment complex is a bit older, but the management has done a fantastic job of keeping the interior of the apartment units up to date! If you happen to find an available unit, you will most likely get the new floors, which I have seen and are nice. If you ever have an issue (for instance, my garbage disposal got stuck once), you put in a maintenance request, and they are on top of it! They will take care of you quickly! We recently got new washers and dryers in our laundry room, and they do have the capability for you to pay using a mobile app, which is super convenient [who carries quarters around?!]. Things to consider (this is an honest review!), this apartment complex is situated on a major street, so the traffic noise can be a bit much, but maybe you will be lucky and find a unit towards the back of the complex, and then it won't be such an issue! However, we are right next to Costco, so it's a short walk in case you need your Costco fix! No matter where you rent from, your rent is going to go up, so I won't comment too much on that, but I will say the rent increase has been reasonable each year. Safety has not been an issue around here. There are security cameras and this is a gated community, so I feel very safe here. You get one assigned parking spot in our gated carport area. If you have guests over, Costco parking lot is available (spaces closest to our apartment complex). Tenants seem to look out for each other and neighbors are friendly (and people are respectful and keep to themselves). Moving is a big deal, so do your research, and feel free to "shop around"....you will learn that this community offers reasonable rent rates [and really, rent in Orange/Los Angeles counties are ridiculous, but do your research]. If you are looking for a luxury experience with over the top amenities, this won't be your place [there is no gym, dishwashers in units, or a jacuzzi here], but overall I am so happy to live here! The only downside is that I still haven't figured out how to let people in without having them call me from the front box and the water pressure is low on the 3rd floor. (WITH DOCUMENTATION) WORST PROPERTY EVERR…read more To start the new year fresh I am writing this to warn anyone that is thinking about renting here: Throughout my tenancy I've experienced things such as Kareen (the property manager) unplugging my security system during an emergency entry into my unit, and citing that the alarms were "not allowed" despite nothing on the lease stating that. I was also retaliated against and received a 30-day notice shortly after, and my deposit stolen after my move out (no damage), and Kareen went as far as to lie under oath after i filed a lawsuit to recover my deposit, saying false statements from a 60 day notice, as well as getting charged for keys for a keyless lock, she also went on to exaggerate that I "physically abused" my dad (co-signer at the time), over a slap on the wrist during an argument between us When I filed to recover my deposit, her supervisor, Jeffrey Alan Nath, stated my case would "get dismissed" in court. Plot Twist: it didn't, I won :))) moral of the story this goes to show the integrity - or lack thereof of management here.....
