This paper is pure temptation, you are forced to take advantage…read more I remember when I was 5 and I'd watch my grandpa read the newspaper, right leg cross the left thigh, leg shaking to an unknown rhythm and eyes locked as if he was watching an important scene in a movie. I never thought that I'd be reading a newspaper. April 2007, now I have become a miniature grandpa, all thanks to you Burlingame Daily! Went from 18 to 80! Haha I guess it's a good thing. B-Game daily gives the first scoop on all the lastest news... actually all the newspaper's do, but yeah... My first scoop. B-game daily news is where I got the first peep at "Naughty Newsom" and "Diaper Psycho Love Crazy Lady." If it wasn't for the B-game daily I wouldn't know that there are plans of making mechanical paper; or that the Governator broke his leg; or that they found the killer of my high school classmate Ray Bass. To be continued... What makes the Burlingame Daily stand out out more than other papers is. 1.It's free! 2.A great read for those who are young and hate reading. 3.You also have the entertainment section... Wanna know who Bradgelina adopted this week? 4.Has interesting development for the Burlingame area. (So all you B-game lovers and Live-ers... You might just find your face in there.) 5.Like making home-runs is for Barry Bonds, once you start reading the B-game Daily, reading will become your home-run (yes I know, great comparison GO BARRY!). And before you know it, you'll be hip like me, going from 18 to 80.

They work with me to see that I maximize my marketing dollar. When they call, I answer the phone, because whatever they're selling benefits me too. The only downside -- if you can call it that -- is that Bay Area Magazine is so well read that not-so-well-read magazines pick it up to see if they can get me to advertise in their magazines.

Metro covers news, politics, culture and arts and has been free since the beginning. It purchased four other alt-weeklies and is now the flagship of a five publication alternative newspaper group.

I had pixelated images in my ad after being assured that it was only the PDF proof that looked pixelated and it wouldn't be in my final ad. They misspelled the name of my business twice ( 2 different ways!) and my phone number had only 6 digits. I am the one who found the errors! The fact that it made it through their graphic department is astounding. When trying to resolve the issue they resorted to making remarks that were unfounded, and inflammatory. I will never deal with them again. Fellow business owners I say put your advertising dollars elsewhere!

A magazine that is geared toward not just the sensible but the fashion conscious and trend setting moms in the area. This feels like it should be a national mag not just a regional one but considering how tailored all of the advice, shopping and activities are to our neighborhood I am nothing but thrilled that it has come along. Bay Area Parent is too packed and makes me feel like I am looking in a penny saver publication whereas this makes me feel like I am looking at O Magazine but for the bay area! Donna has been publishing WC for 6 years, and can work with you to find the distribution schedule that's best for you and your business. She met with me and reviewed all the options, as well as gave me an overview of what the magazine is all about. WC distributes 10,000 issues every quarter, and targets venues where women gather (libraries, coffee shops, hair & nail salons, etc.). Your ad *will* be seen! I really like that this magazine is run by SF Bay Area women, *for* Bay Area women, and nearly all of the ads are for women-owned businesses. But, WC isn't just about advertising. They have great feature articles in every issue, as well as special interest profiles on interesting products, people or events. Take a look for yourself, and see if Women's Connection Magazine is right for you! http://www.womens-connection.net/
