Quite the delicious treat. We had been on the road all day and wanting to get some food and relax in our hotel room up the street. Of our party of 5, two of us didn't get what we had ordered. Food was very greasy. Couldn't even pick up my taco due to it being saturated in grease. Fruits and vegetables didn't seem fresh. Could be a good place with some attention to detail. read more

The food was amazing. The beef on the nachos was perfect. Plenty of the troopers were at the restaurant today at lunch. That's what gave me the idea to eat there so I can't tell you about the ambience. But this place deserves a farm store because of the service they brought the meal to the hotel and the credit card machine. Good Mexican food for around here, the chili reynos are good, but I prefer red sauce and not the white cheese sauce so make sure you ask for that or you will get the cheese sauce. If that's what you like. read more

The salsa tasted more like pizza sauce, the sweat tea tasted old and the service was mediocre. The guacamole bowl was the best thing we had. My chicken tacos were okay, but the refried beans were runny (use a spoon). I wish them well but they have work to do and if I have a choice I'll go elsewhere. read more

Stopped by on the way back from our Trip to Graceland, and just by luck happened upon this place. We started out with the Dirty Dip, which is queso blanco with meat. Extremely Poor service. Was served my very mediocre meal on a to go tin foil pan with a plastic lid. Was never asked if the food was okay or if I needed anything else. Finally had to get up and go ask the waitress who was sitting in the corner playing on her phone If I could get another margarita. Finished my food and she never cleared the table while I sat for another 15 minutes finishing my drink. You have to go to the register to pay when done but of course nobody ever told me that. I've been to this restaurant several times now before I made this review. Today I made a special visit exclusively for writing a review. Upon entering, the restaurant is fairly small, but can seat many people. The staff is very friendly (like super). They're very patient and honestly this is an amazing place to practice your Spanish or even learn a few words. The staff are extremely nice and if you don't find the food appealing and hopefully you won't be disappointed by the waiters. A drink you simply MUST try is the horchata. It's a very healthy drink made with water, rice and CINNAMON. I stress cinnamon because it's a known allergen and it's important to know this drink contains it. It's very simple but sweet and just good for you all around. This time I ordered the shrimp quesadilla with only shrimp and cheese because I'm basic and simple like that. The Mexican rice was cooked perfectly and tasted very good. The quesadilla was also just as good. The cheese is extremely thick so be ready to inhale your drink unless you want it stuck in your teeth. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and seasoned just as well. The only thing that kept this review from 5 stars was the music played. I have nothing against K-Love being played because it's very soothing and encouraging music, but it wouldn't be my choice of music for a Mexican restaurant. Passing through and this place had a good rating although the reviews are a bit old. I recommend spending your money somewhere else. The employees were the best part of this place. The food missed on every level. Salsa tasted like pizza sauce, queso was just okay and the guacamole needed work. This place is small but clean and cozy. We found it by using yelp and I am so glad we did. Portions were large, we took home a to go box for each meal. The food was flavored well and came out hot and fresh. Our servers were very nice and even joked with us a bit when checking if we needed refills. The food was ok... the service sucked...we had to ask after recieving or meals for silverware, napkins. Had to approach the waitress for refills on chips, drinks, salsa... wouldn't recommend eating in to anyone. If I could give this place less than one star, i definitely would. The salsa had a distinct marinara sauce taste, which is not I want in a salsa at a Mexican restaurant. The cheese dip was far to expensive for the minuscule quantity and sub par quality. Chicken enchiladas were nothing to write home about; way too sweet and overpriced as well. 10/10 would not recommend eating here ever. Also, the lunch specials that they advertise don't apply to weekends, which was really the only reason I ever went in the first place. Anyone who tells you this place is good is lying. read more
