They teach kindness and it shows, my son is often referred to as being extremely kind by his current (kindergarten) teacher. I believe it was due to the positive redirection and encouragement he received during preschool. The director, Ms. Lori, is so dedicated and reliable. She is also very knowledgeable and passionate about early childhood education. I don't know where she gets her energy! There is no one you can trust your children with more. The teachers are also committed and reliable, and will take great care of your children. In the three years my son attended the school, I always felt so comfortable and confident in the care he received. He loved it there ! He made lots of friends, and I even made some connections that we have maintained for play dates, etc. The other families and children were all wonderful when we attended. It's a wonderful, warm community. Thank you Children's Gathering !

We love the school's outdoor garden and the easy access to local playgrounds. We love that the staff encourages age-appropriate independence as well as inclusiveness. Our child has grown in confidence and learned to make new friends and is completely comfortable with them. The teachers are warm and loving, and our child always hugs them goodbye. The school encourages children to explore, take risks while staying safe, and solve problems to learn together. The school is thoughtful about activities and grouping children of different ages together. Our own child has benefited from friendships with children who are older and younger. While Kesher includes teaching about Jewish holidays and some Hebrew words, the school is welcoming toward people of all backgrounds and traditions. Above all, we love how Kesher promotes the development of relationships to build community; the connection between home and school is recognized and valued. Not only have we observed children help one another, but families communicate and come together to recognize the hard work and loving care that the teachers provide to their children. This communication makes learning and growing an actively collaborative and engaging process.

My son has been here since he was 3 months old (2 now), so this is like his second home. The staff here are great and make it super comfortable to leave your child in their care for the day. Having been through infant, T1 and into T2 each transition was seamless and teachers were great. From learning to crawl and making friends, learning sign language, animal noises and nursery rhymes I am thoroughly impressed with my sons development. I can't speak highly enough of Ms Deanna (infant) and MS Debbie (T1/ T2)). Both have helped us new parents through various transitions and challenges- eliminating bottles, getting him to sleep easily, and moving to solid foods. Not to mention treating kids like those own.

It really is the best feeling in the world that our kids love where they spend a lot of their time during the week. They learn so much - always different activities! Also, it is very important to us that our kids play outside everyday and to learn about the environment around them. We love that Mudpies values how important it is for kids to be outside. The parent help shifts take a while to get used to, and it's admittedly a major investment of time from a busy work schedule. You take your kid to OSDC initially because your infant or toddler got in, but you later realize that you've been lucky enough to get chosen to join a highly educated community of parents and teachers who invest their time, money, and energies into children. It's cool, and we miss it.

She is exceptionally knowledgeable about children and has helped me with all kinds of kid things, since I am NOT knowledgeable about children :-) She and her staff (all of whom are family!) truly care about the kids and really take care of them lovingly. One of my favorite aspects of Little Achievers is how they encourage the kids to be age-appropriately independent. My 2 year old daughter can do so many things herself - put on her coat and shoes and using safety scissors for example - and she is SO proud that she can. I think a lot of the way she is willing to take on new challenges and keep trying even if she fails comes from the encouragement and structure she gets at Little Achievers. I also love how Christy focuses on helping the kids learn how to be good people. She is firm about manners and making sure the kids treat the staff and each other kindly and with respect. My daughter knows what is and is not kind behavior, and that her behavior can have an effect on the people around her. (Does she always choose to behave well? Absolutely not... but hey, she's 2!) We feel confident that bringing our kids here keeps them safe, happy, and helps them learn.
