When they went on to elementary school (in another town), I was asked (by their teachers) where they went to preschool/pre-K. I was told that they were more prepared than most of the other children in their class. Amazing! As a teacher/administrator, there is no where else I would want to work. I am the music teacher (for all 3 locations) and the after school and vacation program director. The home-like atmosphere provided at LTS is true and organic. While still professional, the teachers and administrators at LTS are intelligent, loving, kind, generous, honest, trustworthy, dependable, fun and just plain old nice! The 3 locations are all different and amazing in their own right. The programs offered at each location are well-planned, consistent, engaging and constructive. Special thanks to the children who joined us in the first show to play tambourines, maracas, and drumsticks. In the second show for older children, others volunteered to demonstrate their new ventriloquial skills after choosing a puppet of their choice from the big drum case. Volunteers were encouraged to say their first name into the microphone and try moving the puppet's mouth three times as they said "One, Two, Three" with their new puppet voice. Special thanks to Mr. Jarod, the teacher who volunteered to be our HUMAN DUMMY! He wore our ventriloquist face mask, played the "ringy, dingy, thingy" and "sang" our "No Bully Zone" original song with Chelsea The Chimpanzee. (No, they did not sing at the same time... we're not that good!)

My hesitance to return to work and separate from my infant was quickly resolved after meeting the caring teachers at ABB. After 5 years of experience with this school I can confidently say that they provide a safe and loving environment. Not to mention the quality of education is unmatched. I've been told by our pediatrician that both of my boys are meeting their developmental milestones at an advanced rate, despite my oldest son experiencing a late start with his speech skills. His attentive teachers were quick to identify this milestone delay and offered various resources tailored to his needs. Thanks to ABB's dedicated staff my son was able to build a large vocabulary, read, and write by the age of 4! We couldn't have overcome this delay without ABBs skilled and diverse team. Their curriculum also enables children to exercise independence, kindness, and respect. I can't even count how many times I've been pleasantly surprised by my sons initiative to attempt self care tasks and display manners (unprompted!). ABB also prioritizes community involvement. Not only do they host multiple food drives/fundraisers, but my personal favorite is when the local fire department comes to introduce themselves to the kids and teach fire safety. Harmony is a beautiful, Waldorf style learning center and preschool. The rooms are curated with thoughtful, open ended toys that are rotated in and out weekly leaving the kids with hours of entertainment. The entire facility is calming, from the color choices of the rooms, toys, lighting and music, all the way to every staff member. Even on the busiest days I've been here all the kids are quiet, respectful and calm because of the environment that Amy and Chrissy have created. They have a huge outdoor space as well including an acre of land that they take the preschool kids for walk on. They have a sweet little garden and a few chickens, as well as a pretty awesome mud kitchen area. Harmony offers open play for kids under three, parent child classes in five developmental stages for kids up to 3 1/2, as well as transitional preschool and regular preschool. Katie leads all of the parent child classes and she is wonderful. She has such a lovely energy, is always so happy to see the kids, and has a wonderful way of working with the kids. Honestly I loved her before we had even really met her. Though my son hasn't gone to the preschool program yet I look forward to when he does. And Amy, oh boy, we LOVE Amy. On days where I'm having a rough morning sometimes I go to Harmony just so see Amy as I walk in the door. She is so welcoming, and warm. As far as indoor play spaces go Harmony is by far my favorite. We're here 2-3 times a week for open play and for parent child class and I don't see us slowing down any time soon.
