My cuticles were rough and often scabbed, and I had picked them until they bled - some of my fingers were bitten down to the quick. I felt embarrassed and was in a lot of pain. Ashley's compassion and care on my journey to overcome my picking habit is one of the many reasons I keep returning to her. Ashley is meticulous--she makes sure my hands look their best, even when I come in at my worst. She has worked with me to find products that work best with my body chemistry and lifestyle, and she even purchased some special gel fillers to help strengthen my nails and keep them looking good between visits. She has even worked with me between visits to help me avoid damaging my cuticles again. More than three years into my recovery, I can honestly say I am where I am today because of Ashley, and I am forever grateful to have found her.

Not that long ago I came here with a friend to get our nails done. It was my first time at Y.O.U.R…read more Beauty and Nails. I wanted a regular polish pedicure and manicure. The pedicure was great, no complaints at all, but the manicure was not that good. First, the polish application was too thick (I think it was at least three layers of nail polish ), so it started lifting and peeling really quickly. Not a huge fan of that. Second, I was not very pleased with the cuticle removal process. Quite a bit was was left behind, so that part of the service felt a little rushed. For my friend, when she was getting her pedicure they accidentally used the wrong color on one of her feet, so they had to start the process all over again since the gel had already set. To their credit, they fixed it without complaint and they were very apologetic about it. For her manicure, she wanted acrylics, and it seemed like the first technician who started the set didn't really know how to do it, so she waited for another employee to be available and switched with her. Overall, the employees were all very nice, the prices are affordable and the place looks well kept. P.S. They do charge a 3% fee if paying with a credit card, but they also have a fee-free ATM inside. Also, they get very busy, so I would recommend making an appointment rather than walking in.

I didn't realize how picky I was until I kept comparing every place to what I was used to--and nothing quite measured up... until now. I finally found this hidden gem, and I can honestly say it was worth the search. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed the studio was--spacious, chic, and immediately calming. Cleanliness is a huge priority for me, and she absolutely delivered. Her tools were perfectly prepped and sanitized, which gave me so much confidence right away. What really stood out, though, was her technique. This wasn't a rushed, basic manicure--it was true Russian manicure precision. She took her time with my cuticles, shaping, and overall nail care, working so carefully and closely that you can actually see the difference in the final result. I brought in a nail inspo photo, and she nailed it (literally) on the first try. No back and forth, no adjustments needed--just flawless execution. And can we talk about the finish? Perfectly clean lines, no excess polish, no bubbles, no creasing--just crisp, detailed, beautiful nails. I went with an Easter-inspired set, and it came out so fresh and polished. If you're someone who notices every little detail like I do, you'll appreciate the level of precision here. She even offered a complimentary refreshment, which was such a nice touch and made the whole experience feel extra special. If you're looking for a clean, precise, and truly high-quality Russian manicure in Santa Rosa, this is the place. No rushing, no shortcuts--just amazing work. Safe to say, I've found my new go-to. Already looking forward to my next appointment!

The only negative is that on inspection when I got home, it wasn't really the best pedicure. He got my cuticles but the nails were cut pretty straight (I asked for round) and it looks like there is still some dirt on the sides of my big toe nails. The owner (I think) was very nice and did my nails. She did a great job - they are short and round as requested, no hang nails and clean cuticles. Price was $60 plus tip. Very reasonable. The salon itself is a little on the older side, yet still clean and appeared hygienic.

Between walk ins and phone calls, they were doing their best to accommodate everyone. My friend and I were walk-ins and they told us about 20 minutes, not problem. I had someone come do my pedicure first. She didn't say a word to me. She just started. Didn't even ask what color. It was very strange. I just let her do her thing since they were so busy and we'd figure it out once we got to that point. One thing my friend and I both wanted to do was the wax option. My friend was able to ask her lady and I asked as well but she didn't respond. The nice man next to her answered for her and said not a problem. It's always been weird to me when nail salons offer different packages and don't ask which one you want. My lady seemed very annoyed by this. During the pedicure, she barely cut my nails (pretty sure one was completely missed) and didn't check if that was a good length, she was incredibly rough during the entire process. It was so bad that when we left, I even told my friend I was going to have bruises. Sure enough, bruises on my calf from the "massage". The hot stones was a joke. She didn't do the hot towels. The whole thing was just so weird. Again, I know they're busy and trying to get through everyone but if we're stopping in to be pampered, that doesn't mean you can just be rough and push us through. Some other stuff happened as well but I feel like I've complained enough. The shop is so nice and in such a convenient location that I would love to come back but if I do, I am going to ask that I don't get that woman.
