After I instructed her not to do it until I contact her because I had property in the house. Literally she sold my house and the new owners could have came in at that time and kick me out not allowing me to get my stuff out of the house. She has volunteered for so many things. They do a veterans thing. I asked her three times what do you do for the veterans she tells me we do lots of volunteer work what do? you do the volunteer work oh we do lots of volunteer work she goes round and round in circles. While they've chosen not to speak up, I feel it's important to share our experience so that others can make more informed decisions. To start, yes -- Cathy did handle the showings. However, communication throughout the entire process was extremely poor. It took almost a month for her to list the home, despite our family helping to clear things out promptly. My parents' home was not in the best condition, and while Cathy initially offered to help improve its appearance for the listing, that follow-through didn't really happen. What's most upsetting is that my parents walked away with less than 20k from the sale of a home that sold for more than 400k. That outcome is incredibly disheartening, and I truly believe they were taken advantage of. Whether it was a lack of transparency, poor negotiation, or just overall lack of advocacy -- the service they received was far from what any family should expect. As their daughter, I feel terrible that my parents had this experience. I believe Cathy could have done much better, and I hope this review encourages more awareness and accountability in how agents treat clients, especially kind hearted people.
