Outside you have ample space to stretch the legs. There are plenty of picnic tables if you wanted to eat your lunch here. There is also plenty of space to allow your four-legged friends a chance to stretch their legs as well. However, parking here is a bit awkward. Made for both cars and semi trucks alike, it doesn't allow for much room to more around the lot. Sufficient best sums this place up and it serves its purpose.

There is a corresponding rest area on the other side of the highway for westbound traffic. It is officially the "Loretta Lynn / Hank Williams Rest Area." When entering, there isn't much of a deceleration area so be aware of people who are still going rather fast into the rest area. Trucks to the left and cars to the right mostly. It's nice that the cars are a little further away from the highway in case you were looking to take a nap. The trucks are already idling, so they're used to the noise. The rest room was clean and while I was here before the sunrise, it does look like there might be some shade during the day. She was just so nice and insisted on helping me to my room and wanting me to move my car to make it easier for me to leave in the morning. My room was clean and ready for me and the bed just hugged me in all the right places. The rooms are updated with comfy beds, flat screen TVs, tons of cable channels, and just an overall relaxing feel. The hotel is quiet and non smoking, so it is easy to just relax and let go of the day! I cannot wait to take advantage of the breakfast tomorrow. But, I am definitely going to miss the feel of this hotel! Such a great find for work and just getting away!
