After losing our home in a devastating fire, my family and I trusted Rainbow International of Des Moines to restore and rebuild our home. We were promised a finished, livable house -- one where we could finally begin to move forward after everything we had been through. Instead, we were left with an unfinished project that created additional stress and challenges for our family. From the beginning, communication was poor, and the workmanship showed little attention to detail. Floors were installed before drywall texture and painting were completed, creating additional damage and requiring us to redo work. Ceilings are cracked, drywall seams are uneven, trim looks poorly installed, windows are hung unevenly, and the kitchen cabinets were the wrong size -- installed rather than reordered. The materials used were of low quality, and decisions about installation were made without consulting us. Because of these issues, we had no choice but to fire them halfway through the project. To make matters worse, the company is now attempting to charge more than what we believe is owed, leaving us without the funds needed to hire another contractor to finish the house. This has forced us to retain an attorney and pursue legal action to complete the work. Our family has been forced to stay displaced for far longer than expected. We even had to place our animals in foster homes because the house remains uninhabitable. Three independent contractors who have inspected the work confirmed that the workmanship was unacceptable and identified multiple issues that no reputable restoration company should leave behind. We have not fully paid Rainbow International of Des Moines because we do not believe they are entitled to the amount they are claiming. Much of the work is unfinished, and significant portions will need to be corrected by another contractor. Caution to anyone considering this company: Based on our experience, Rainbow International of Des Moines did not provide professional restoration work, made costly mistakes, and left our family with an unfinished home. If you want quality, accountability, and a company that communicates honestly, look elsewhere. Our situation has required legal action to even have a chance at finishing the work correctly. The owner of Cleanly, Mike, responded quickly to my inquiry and was able to stop by the following day to tour the property. He arrived early for our appointment to review our cleaning needs and provided an estimate by the next day. I really appreciated Mike's prompt response to all my communications with him. Cleanly ended up winning a contract with our building. They were able to provide services within the next few days which we appreciated since our building really needed a cleaning. The owner and his cleaning staff are friendly and professional. They work hard to get the job done and do a good job. I've been extremely pleased with their services from start to finish.

Both Mike and Elaine arrived on time, were extremely respectful, and made sure to ask if there were any specific areas I wanted them to prioritize. When I returned home after the cleaning, I was thrilled to find the carpets immaculate following the carpet cleaning and vacuuming--exactly what I needed with a little one about to start crawling. The hardwood floors were spotless, and they even took the time to tidy up a bit in my kitchen. Overall, the entire house was thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom. As we head into the winter months, this deep clean was just what my family needed, and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be having Mike and Elaine back!
