We were in the area from out of state when it became apparent our 16 year old chihuahua with…read morediabetes was going to need to be put down. We had hoped we could control her health but she was getting progressively worse. We tried other animal clinics but they were too busy to get to us soon. Clayview was able to get us right in and I must add they were extremely sympathetic and professional in the way everything was handled. It was a hard decision but they made it as easy as possible. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.

I called this clinic looking for help and understanding, because my young cat had only one live…read morekitten and one stillborn I worried there may be more inside her. I was asking for any solution, or step that I could take and I was informed by a receptionist that the only option I had $600-800 to spend on a C-Section. Then, when I asked what would happen if I couldn't afford the operation, she laughed- replying that my cat would most likely die. I would never take any of my animals to this vet, and I will be spreading the word any way I can about this horrible incident.

Long time client who brought my dog in for euthanasia. I was kept waiting an hour after my…read moreappointment and was then treated like an interruption of their day. No compassion whatsoever...very rushed like she had other things more pressing. I sent Dr. Vogel a two page letter explaining the situation and never heard back. When I went in to pick up the ashes, the woman behind the counter, handed me the bag with absolutely no comment. Prior to this, during covid, I brought one animal in for a dental. He came back sick and my other dog picked up whatever he had. It was a holiday weekend and they were both extremely ill. I called on Monday and they were just too busy to see either dog. By Wednesday I told them I would come in regardless, and they finally agreed. Both dogs had to be put on IVs because they were so dehydrated. I never should've gone back. Lesson learned. Never again.
