We had hoped we could control her health but she was getting progressively worse. We tried other animal clinics but they were too busy to get to us soon. Clayview was able to get us right in and I must add they were extremely sympathetic and professional in the way everything was handled. It was a hard decision but they made it as easy as possible. When we got back home a few days later, we had a letter from them with our pet's paw print along with a sympathy card. We did not expect this kind of experience but it was very appreciated and thoughtful. We may never have the opportunity to use them again being from out of state, but I would highly recommend them for any kind of pet care you may need.

No compassion whatsoever...very rushed like she had other things more pressing. I sent Dr. Vogel a two page letter explaining the situation and never heard back. When I went in to pick up the ashes, the woman behind the counter, handed me the bag with absolutely no comment. Prior to this, during covid, I brought one animal in for a dental. He came back sick and my other dog picked up whatever he had. It was a holiday weekend and they were both extremely ill. I called on Monday and they were just too busy to see either dog. By Wednesday I told them I would come in regardless, and they finally agreed. Both dogs had to be put on IVs because they were so dehydrated. I never should've gone back. Lesson learned. Never again.

My mom was a mess and was being rude to the staff and it's because she was stressed because she had to open the morning before and she had never been to a emergency vet so she didn't understand why it took so long. All the staff remained so calm and were still so nice to my mom and explained to her as many times as she needed why it costed what it did and why it took so long. A front desk lady even went out of her way to follow us out to my car and bring a pill popper because she heard my mom stressing about having to give the cat pills. Everyone was so amazing and professional and I'm so greatful for that. Bernadette is doing great today getting used to her cone and takeing her pills. Thankyou guys.

He had to stay there over 4hr until he paid! I sent him the $$ as soon as I woke up. I'm disappointed and disgusted that he couldn't leave. My question... They did a urine test and gave us some pain meds for him. The next day no results from test, the day after that I called and was told I would get a call back. Nope! Day 3 I called again, at this point my cat is peeing blood. I knew for sure he had a UTI, yet the vet said it's not likely. At this point I've already paid over $200. So day 3 and after being put on hold for 30 mins, I'm told he has blood in his urine. -.- well no crap! So then she tells me they don't see anything else, and they can send off for a culture which is $400! I said no, all I want is him to have some Amoxicillin. So she tells me the culture will tell them what type of antibiotics to use because they don't work the same. lol.. keep in mind I'm not a vet but I know amoxicillin kills ALL BACTERIA/INFECTIONS in the body. So day 4 I take my cat to get this antibiotic shot, another $69, I look at the invoice and they gave my cat medicine FOR SKIN WOUNDS!! So here I sit and my cat is still peeing all over the place only now he is crying!! So the vet clinic is garbage and greedy!! It's all about taking your money and keeping your animal sick!! If my cat dies because of their negligence. I will contact my lawyer!!! Update** After leaving my review on this horrible vet. I took my cat to the emergency vet. After dropping another $350 they proceeded to tell me my cat indeed has a UTI!! THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING FOR 2 weeks!! And what do they give me? AMOXICILLIN!! This is what Lakeland should have done from day one. So now my cat has a bladder full of blood and is considered high risk for blockage which can kill him!! This is a thousand dollar blue point ragdoll we're talking about!! Lakeland is careless and if I wouldn't have taken my cat to the er he would have died!! I called today and wanted a refund for the negligence and crap education the vet wasted her money on!! She refused!! You know why? Cause they dgaf about your pet!! All they want is money. Ya well guess what Lakeland!! You'll be hearing from my lawyer!! Clearly your idiots don't know a damn thing about CATS!! It shows in other reviews!! I'll be damned another cat goes through what mine currently is. Karma!!
