We turned up Sunday with our 2 kids 4 and 7. It was pretty busy at 5:30pm but the staff did find us a table promptly. Our waitress came with menu's, offered drinks and turned up with couple of colouring books for our kids.
A fair variety of food and drink can be found, mostly (obviously) British inspired.
We ordered a steak (Medium Rare) with Chips and Salad for me, Bangers and Mash for our kids to share (Was plenty and leftovers!) and my wife had the roast of the day.
My steak was very nicely cooked (exactly as ordered which is a great start), and the meat was relatively tender in line with the cut it was. The chips were good, and a hit with my kids. Salad was quite small. I wouldn't write home about the flavour, but it was a reasonable dish. Mushrooms were yummy.
My son enjoyed his Bangers and Mash but found the gravy moderately strong. He enjoyed the sausage.
My wife's roast of the day had asparagus, mushrooms and was Beef. She wasn't as enamoureed as the sauce overpowered the dish.
Ultimately it was a passable meal and we would probably return if we wanted something local.
Service was good, friendly, helpful and interactions with our kids were good. Food wait times were on average, maybe a little slow, but given the time of the day and the crowds, probably acceptable.
